Conrad Hilton Avoids Prison Time For INSANE Mid-Flight Meltdown

Back in February, Conrad Hilton was arrested for getting a little out hand during an international flight.

And by "a little out of hand," we mean he tried to fight the pilot, screamed death threats at the crew, called the passengers "peasants," and smoked weed in the bathroom. We've all been there, right?

Hilton has admitted that he would've "killed a flight attendant" if he hadn't been physically restrained, and witnesses have described his frightening mid-air meltdown as an act of terrorism.

The 21-year-old brother of Paris faced up to 20 years in prison and millions in fines, but Conrad is rich, white and a Hilton, so naturally he got off with 3 years probation and 750 hours of community service.

Conrad checked into rehab shortly after the incident and claims to have changed his ways, but this isn't his only WTF?! brush with the law in the past year.

Hilton's ex-girlfriend Hunter Salomon was recently granted a restraining order against him after he repeatedly broke into her home  and made various violent threats.

Salomon - the daughter of Paris Hilton's sex tape co-star, Rick Salomon - says Conrad decided he couldn't live without her about a year after they broke up and proceeded to launch a round-the-clock stalking campaign.

She says at one point, she even encouraged him to get a restraining order because he "can't restrain himself."

So let that be a lesson - if you have good enough lawyers, they can get a judge to ignore even the most convincing cries for help.

Ian Somerhalder Unfollows Nina Dobrev on Twitter!

The Vampire Diaries’ leading man Ian Somerhalder is catching some flak online after he unfollowed ex-girlfriend and co-star Nina Dobrev on Twitter.

Yup, he actually unfollowed her on there. That's some cold s--t ...

Ian's online actions have caused quite a stir in the Vampire Diaries fan community; even a few of his most loyal supporters are flummoxed by this.

Some have become so distraught that he quietly removed his ex-love from his digital platform, they started trending #UnfollowMeSomerhalder.

It's a bit of a curious turn of events, as Nina left The Vampire Diaries and has wished Ian and his wife, Twilight actress Nikki Reed, all the best.

According to Dobrev, there is zero bad blood between them.

"I’ve said this before, that we didn’t break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn’t love or friendship,” she told Extra.

"I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he’s great and I care about him. And that didn’t change. Yes, we’re professional and that’s fine."

"We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”

Clearly, this is much ado about nothing in the grand scheme.

Social media isn’t the best reflection of who we are, who we hang out with, and how we behave in real life ... at least it shouldn't be by default.

Given Ian's propensity for spreading positivity and awareness of social, environmental and humanitarian issues, what's a single unfollow?

It begs the question, though ... why not just ignore her?!

Was he hacked? Spammed? Pressured by Nikki? Bitter that she's with Austin Stowell? Looking for catharsis and to symbolically move on?

Or, was it accidental? Given that he still follows Nina's mom (really) and other Vampire Diaries co-stars past and present, it's possible.

As for why anyone took the time to figure out that he scrapped Nina from his 627-person following list? #Internet. And #Delena. The end.

'Big Brother' -- Burglars Strike Football Player ... Steal Guns

Z STAFF

EXCLUSIVE

0617-clay-honeycutt-TUMBLR-01Some scumbag burglars just hit the home of a former Texas A&M football — stealing several guns — and he may have been targeted BECAUSE he’s a contestant on “Big Brother.”

As we previously reported, ex-Aggies defensive back Clay Honeycutt will be a houseguest this season — and is already in sequester, cut off from the outside world, as the show requires.

But after he left this past weekend, burglars struck his home in College Station, TX … stealing all sorts of Honeycutt’s belongings … this according to the Brazos County Sheriffs Office.

Among the items reported stolen:

– A 70″ TV
– A black Kindle Fire
– An iPad
– An Apple laptop
– Three handguns (a 9mm, a .22 and a .45)
– A leather jewelry box

The estimated value of the stolen goods: $ 4,510.

We’re told Honeycutt’s family believes the jewelry box may have held a ring from his A&M playing days, but they aren’t sure and they’ve been unable to contact him … per the show’s strict rules.

Family members tell us they believe the timing is no accident … insisting the burglars waited until Clay left for the show to strike his home.

The investigation is ongoing.

Model Lauren Wasser Lost Her Leg Due To Toxic Shock Syndrome — Read About Her Harrowing Story & Road To Recovery HERE

Lauren Wasser is a shining example of how suddenly a life can change.

In a recent article, Lauren, a gorgeous model and former athlete, spoke out on her terrifying experience with toxic shock syndrome. For those who don’t know, toxic shock syndrome is a rare yet life threatening bacterial infection that can be caused by the synthetic materials found in tampons.

At age 24, Wasser was at the top of her game — she modeled, was a familiar face of El Lay’s coveted social scene, and she led a very active lifestyle. In high school, Lauren was even offered a full scholarship to play basketball at a Division 1 school. In short, life was good.

Unfortunately, LW’s fortune changed for the worse after she purchased Kotex Natural Balance tampons for her period. Tampon use, like it is for most women, was an after thought for Lauren. The blonde didn’t even think about why she felt “off” until she woke up in a hospital days later and near death.

The athlete recalled:

“My belly was huge. I had tubes everywhere. I couldn’t speak. I thought maybe I overdosed on food. I had no clue what was happening. It’s the most excruciating pain I’ve ever—I don’t know how to describe it to you.”

Next to Wasser’s bed was a tube of black toxins the doctors had to remove once they realized she had toxic shock syndrome. To make matters worse, the infection got so bad that the fashionista developed gangrene. Considering the model arrived at that the hospital with a 107 degree fever and with her organs shutting down, this was sadly just the tip of the iceberg.

Upon hearing her leg would have to be removed, Lauren added:

“I thought, ‘Oh my God, she’s talking about me. I’m going to lose my leg’. Both of my legs were starting to mummify. I had to act quickly.”

Despite the initial devastation of losing everything dear to her, the now 27-year-old is focusing on legislation to improve the quality of tampons. While Lauren says she’ll never use tampons again, she’s not against tampon use — she just wants companies to change the materials they use instead of slapping a “get out jail free” warning label on the products.

To make the transition into life without a leg easier, the model’s photographer girlfriend, Jennifer Rovero, has taken beautiful portraits of her post-surgery. The process has acted like therapy for Wasser.

To sum her experience up, Lauren simply stated:

“I can’t go on a slide, I don’t really want to be in a bathing suit, I couldn’t go jump in the ocean if I wanted to. That product fucked me over. You know cigarettes can kill you, so when you use them, it’s your choice. Had I known all the info about TSS, I would never have used tampons.”

Wow. We wish Lauren the best of luck in her recovery and with her continued advocacy for improving the safety of feminine products.
