Natalie Cole Dies; Legendary Singer Was 65

The world of music has lost a legend.

Natalie Cole, the winner of nine Grammy awards and the singer behind such hits as “This Will Be” and “Inseparable,” has died, the Associated Press confirmed.

She was 65 years old.

Via a statement to NBC News, the artist’s sisters and son said the following of Cole’s passing:

“It is with heavy hearts that we bring to you all the news of our Mother and sister’s passing. Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived … with dignity, strength and honor.

“Our beloved Mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever.”

Natalie was the daughter of Nat King Cole and Maria Hawkins Cole.

She made her singing debut at the age of 6, recording a Christmas song with her famous father.

In 1991, Cole released the album “Unforgettable… with Love,” in which she paid tribute to her father’s most beloved hits. It went on to win six Grammys, including Album of the Year.

She also guest-starred on such shows as Grey’s Anatomy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and underwent kidney transplant surgery in 2009.

“#NatalieCole, sister beloved & of substance and sound,” Tweeted Rev. Jesse Jackson. “May her soul rest in peace. #Inseperable.”

Fran Drescher was married to Peter Marc Jacobson, who created the show that made her a household name, The Nanny. They were married from 1978-99; Jacobson didn’t come out until after their divorce, but there were no hard feelings. In fact, they collaborated on a new sitcom, Happily Divorced, based on their own experiences.

4. Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher married Bryan Lourd in 1991; they divorced when he came out as gay three years later.

5. Vanessa Redgrave

Actress Vanessa Redgrave was married to Oscar-winning director Tony Richardson from 1962-67 and had two daughters with her, Joely and Natasha Richardson. Tony did not come out until he was diagnosed with HIV; he died of AIDS-related complications in 1991.

6. Betsy Drake

Betsy Drake was an actress who appeared with Cary Grant in his movies and was the second of his four wives. It is now widely believed that the icon was actually gay, as he lived with another man, Randolph Scott, for 10 years later in life.

Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles: Oh, It"s On, Alright!

It"s one thing to have dinner together, as Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles recently were spotted doing.

It"s another thing to go on vacation together, as Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles are currently doing in Anguilla, a tropical island in the Caribbean.

But it"s yet another thing to have dinner together while on vacation and then also be ALL OVER EACH OTHER while hanging out on a yacht.

And that"s exactly what took place between the reality star and the singer this week.

According to E! News, along with the paparazzi agency that snapped the photos, Jenner and Styles have taken their intimate party to St. Barts, the location of multiple Jenner-Kardashian family vacations.

But this appear to be a cozy trip meant for two, as cameras snapped pictures of Jenner and Styles showing serious signs of affection aboard an expensive on Wednesday, with Kendall seemingly lying on top of the One Direction artist at one point.

The stars were romantically linked way back toward the end of 2013 and start of 2014.

They denied they were dating at the time, however, and the supposed relationship only lasted a couple months anyway.

But it"s pretty clear Kendall and Harry kept in touch and it"s especially clear from the following footage that they are now in touch. Literally.

There"s a lot of touching going on here, that"s what we"re saying.
