Game Of Thrones Star Comments On That Jaw-Dropping Death — Says 'I'm Not Coming Back!'

Say it ain’t so!!

On Sunday’s Game of Thrones‘ season finale, it seemed that everyone’s favorite Lord Commander received a Julius Caesar like death when members of the Night’s Watch turned on him!

Et tu, Olly?!

However, Kit Harrington, AKA Jon Snow, confirmed that the show-runners, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, told him that his character was gone for good!

He shared:

“I had a sit-down with Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk [letting an actor know they’re being whacked]. They said, ‘Look, you’re gone, it’s done.'”

NOOO!!!

When the episode aired, many fans theorized that the Pompeii actor would return for another season after it was reported that last year’s salary negotiations would give him a series six raise.

Nonetheless, Harrington’s adamant that this episode was his finale bow.

He continued:

“As far as the salary thing goes, that angered me when that story came out. I don’t know where it came from, but it was inaccurate in many ways. It’s going to put questions into your head and into fans’ heads that things are not what they are.

Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, ‘This is how it is.’ If anything in the future is not like that, then I don’t know about it — it’s only in David and Dan and George’s heads. But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.”

Tissues, anyone?!

Though the beloved Game of Thrones star seems to have come to terms with his departure from the show — fans took to Twitter to beg the heads of the HBO show to save the noble soldier.

Harrington will certainly be pleased by the outpouring of love from his many fans.

He relayed prior to the finale:

“I will be really interested to see the audience reaction. I hope it’s not, “F–k yes, thank f–k he’s dead!”

Regardless, the British hunk was just as frustrated as the fans that his character never discovered who his mother was. Aww!

But it seems the 28-year-old knew his time was coming to an end even though he never read George R.R. Martin‘s A Dance with Dragons.

He explained:

“…I had an inkling it should be this season. I didn’t realize it would be the final shot of the season and that made it extra special. It’s always kind of nice really when you’re the last thing that happens in that episode.”

Hmm, very inneresting.

Well, maybe he misinterpreted what the showrunners told him!! As you know — You know nothing Jon Snow!

What do you think?! Did you see Jon Snow’s death coming?
