Killers' Prison Break Story Might Become A TV Show?! Here's The Plan To Put Them On Your Screen!

We don’t know about this one…

Richard Matt and David Sweat, the New York prison escapees could be headed to television.

The Johnson production group is planning on filming a show that will chronicle the escape and the subsequent manhunt and hopefully the capture of the two men, all from the perspective of Joyce Mitchell.

If you remember, Joyce is the woman who not only helped them escape, but also had sex with the convicts.

In regards to the story, the production group claims that there’s a market for crime thrillers featuring females and believe that the audience would probably be more interested in Joyce and her story than the killers’ side.

JPG is hoping that they can make and air the show within about a 5-month period and keep up to date on the breaking stories as events unfold.

They also say that they have relationships with the Lifetime network as well as the streaming service Hulu and believes one of them might be interested.

Though is sounds interesting, we don’t know if we’d REALLY tune it. It depends on the tone and what kind of insight of psychological perspective it takes.

What do you think? Would you watch a show around Joyce and the killers? Sound off in the comments (below)!
