There was nothing cruel about Ryan Phillippe’s intentions over the holidays. He popped the question to Paulina Slagter and she said yes!
It was actually a long time coming. The 41-year-old actor has quietly been dating the 24-year-old law school student for four years.
The pair got engaged in Miami and will continue celebrating by ringing in 2016 at the Five Star New Year’s Eve event on Watson Island.
They were also spotted out with friend Brittny Gastineau (apparently) on Monday night, after news of their impending nuptials first broke.
Ryan could not stop gushing about his love during an interview with Howard Stern in April, hinting at the possibility of an engagement.
“She’s awesome. When people see her they have judgments because she could be a model but she’s about to graduate Stanford Law.”
“It’s [serious]. I’m not opposed to [getting married again].”
Ryan was famously married to actress Reese Witherspoon from 1999-2007; the pair share daughter Ava, 16, and son Deacon, 12.
He also has daughter Kailani, 4, with Alexis Knapp.
