Amber Heard: Arrest For Domestic Assault Revealed

Last month, actress Amber Heard accused her estranged husband Johnny Depp of assault in a court filing that contained several shocking allegations against the 52-year-old screen icon.

Heard was granted a temporary restraining order, and it initially looked as though the matter would be settled in divorce and civil courts.

Bur after fans and famous friends of Depp’s came forward to defend Depp and accuse Heard of blackmail, the 30-year-old actress decided to go public with several more accusations of past instances of abuse.

The court of public opinion seems pretty evenly split on this one, and it may be several months before the various disputes between Heard and Depp are decided by a judge.

In the meantime, however, new information has emerged about Heard’s past, and it may bolster Depp supporters’ arguments against her.

Several media outlets are now reporting that Heard was arrested for domestic assault in 2009, while she was still dating former fiancee Tasya Van Ree.

According to police reports, the situation started when the ex-couple got into an argument at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

They began shouting at one another and quickly drew the attention of passers-by.

Witnesses say Heard grabbed Van Ree by the arm and struck her.

She was later arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence.

Heard was arraigned the next day, and the prosecutor in her case decided not to go forward with charges.

She was, however. cautioned by the judge to keep her nose clean. 

He reminded Amber that the case could be re-opened at any point in the next two years if she experienced any further trouble with the law.

This should have little to no impact on the perception of her troubles with Depp, as committing an act of domestic violence in no way means that one can’t be a victim of a similar crime years later.

That said, you can bet that members of Team Depp are pretty pleased with today’s revelation.

Savannah Guthrie: Pregnant with Baby #2!

Matt Lauer may be on his way out of The Today Show.

But the embattled anchor isn’t the only person related to this morning program who may soon be out.

Savannah Guthrie has announced that she will soon be squeezing another precious life out of her vagina!

That’s right, the beloved co-host is pregnant!!!!!

The 44-year-old reporter revealed this morning that she’s expecting her second child, confirming the exciting news live on air.

Two years ago this Augus, Guthrie welcomed her first child, daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman, with husband Michael Feldman.

Here is an adorable photo of mother and child on the first day the latter entered the world:

“Mike and I are so excited. We’re expecting a baby in December!” Guthrie declared during the broadcast, after pulling a question from the desk’s bowl of questions. 

The question read: “Are you pregnant?”

“The thought of getting to add to our family now is beyond every hope, dream and prayer I have ever had,” Guthrie said.

“It is not simply double the joy – it is joy multiplied infinitely.”

Upon hearing the answer, Hoda Kotb jumped in and joked around with Guthrie, saying she thought something was unusual when she noticed her colleague hadn’t drank any wine during a dinner.

“I’ve been fake drinking for some time now,” Guthrie admitted.

We’re guessing a few million women around the world can relate to her in that regard, right?

The only drawback to this pregnancy is that Guthrie won’t be joining the Today team for its live coverage of the summer Olympics in Rio in order to avoid contracting the Zika virus.

Oh well. It’s a small price to pay for bringing a child into this world.

Prince Would Have Turned 58 Years Old Today

The music world, and the world in general, has a reason to stop and remember Prince once again today.

And that’s because iconic singer would have turned 58 years old.

The beloved artist, of course, died on April 21 from an opioid overdose, law enforcement officials finally confirmed earlier this month.

He fell unconscious inside his Minnesota home that morning and paramedics could not revive him when they arrived at his residence.

In honor of Prince’s posthumous birthday, V Magazine has unveiled a couple never-before-seen snapshot of the Grammy winner from an earlier photo shoot.

We’ve featured one of them above.

“He’s got his thing. It’s sort of male and female erotic at the same time. Sexy. It seems so impossible that he could even pass away, let alone so young,” photographer Inez Van Lamsweerde told E! News.

“It did make me feel very, very sad but also extremely proud that we had the chance to make these iconic images of him.”

In honor of today’s occasion, Minnseota Governor Mark Dayton has declared it “Prince Day” in the singer’s native state.

“The untimely passing of Prince on April 21, 2016 impacted millions and has been marked with tributes and celebrations of his life and music around the world,” reads the official state website.

“Prince Day will be celebrated in Minnesota on June 7, 2016, Prince’s birthday, and Minnesotans are encouraged to wear purple on Prince Day in honor of The Purple One’s enduring legacy.”

We’d like to add that everyone out there should also party like it’s 1999.

Rihanna Rocks Bikinis, Pounds Booze in Racy Vacation Pics

We’re not saying the girl doesn’t work, work, work, work, work, but Rihanna’s typical Tuesday probably bears a striking resemblance to the most indulgent, extravagant vacation you’ve ever taken.

So when the girl actually takes some time off work to party in an exotic locale, she basically takes her bikinis, booze and blunts game to 11:

Yes, as you can see Rihanna is in a bikini, knocking back beers on what looks to be one hell of a beautiful beach.

Basically, she’s out there making the most of summer, so you that you can do some vicarious living while wallowing away in your cubicle.

We don’t use the word “hero” often, but it’s hard to deny that Rihanna is the greatest hero in the history of the world.

For anyone who doubts that perfectly reasonable and possibly understated claim, we present Exhibit B: RiRi swimming while drinking a beer and smoking a blunt.

Isn’t it hard to swim with both hands full of party fuel?

If the blunt goes out, does she go all the way back to shore to light it, or just toss the thing?

Isn’t a little unnecessary to put a bottle of beer inside a wooden mug?

These are the concerns of mere mortals.

They don’t enter the mind of a superior being who once claimed that not wearing a bedazzled thong was her only regret in life.

While the rest of the world is wondering whether Rihanna and Drake are secretly dating, RiRi herself is living life, pounding brews, and smoking weed that probably costs more than your car by the ounce.

And for that, we thank her.
