As part of the Kardashian-Jenner family, it is Kylie and Kendall Jenner’s job to create drama. Kylie and Kendall Jenner might be fighting with each other, and now they want to fight with you too.
If your name is Kylie or Kendall, you probably already hate yourself a little for even sharing a name with Kylie or Kendall Jenner.
But the feeling is mutual. Kylie and Kendall don't want you to have their name either—especially if you are in the entertainment industry.
TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner filed an application last month to trademark her name to "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture."
Kylie also wants to carve out a space for personal appearances "by a celebrity, actress and model.”
In its most literal sense, this only applies to someone using the name “Kylie” with the same font. So theoretically, another Kylie could use a different font.
But Jenner’s lawyers could argue that it creates confusion. Thus, other Kylie’s might run the risk of legal action for spelling their name. WTF.
TMZ reports that Kendall as also recently filed an application to trademark her name.
