Stevie Wonder rang in his 65th birthday by surrounding himself with his closest friends — some of whom proceeded to bust out impressions of the legendary musician … and Stevie had a blast.
TMZ obtained video from inside Stevie’s party … which went down at The Attic in Hollywood Wednesday night. Our sources say handlers had told Stevie he was going to a recording session — so he was totally shocked when he walked in and heard the birthday cheers.
Stevie made it clear he’d rather listen to other people sing, than perform himself … it was HIS birthday, after all — and his celeb pals obliged.
Tyrese, Janelle Monae, Chante Moore, Johnny Gill, and Tommy Davidson joined him onstage — and you’ve gotta see Gill’s performance.
For some reason Stevie is in full LMFAO mode. It’s almost like he knew Johnny was mocking his signature back and forth swaying. Hmmm …
