The past two months have seen two Keeping Up With the Kardashians production delays.
Normally, this news would be followed by speculation of diva-like behavior or some botched Kylie Jenner lip implants that need time to heal.
This time around, however, the Kards had ample reason to postpone filming.
As you may recall, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel, bound and gagged as thieves made off with an estimated $ 10 million in jewelry.
It’s the sort of thing that would prompt anyone to take a hiatus from public life.
Shortly thereafter, Kanye West was hospitalized following an emotional breakdown.
The rapper was held for observation for more than a week, and the severity of his condition is still unclear.
Again, not the sort of ordeal that makes for fun, fluffy reality show viewing.
So it’s not hard to understand why Kim and kompany would choose to push back the production schedule for the 19 (!) season of the show that made them famous.
Unless you’re Kris Jenner, in which case, that sh-t is just unacceptable:
“Kris has been pushing Kim to go back out in public. She is seriously pressuring her,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
Yes, like many a pimp before her, Kris is eager for Kim to get back out there and start earning.
Fortunately, it seems the Kardashian-Wests are taking a hard-line stance against the world’s most famous momager.
But Kris knows how to pull her daughter’s strings, and it seems she’s been playing the concerned mother card in her efforts to get Kim back in front of the camera.
“Kris is relentless,” the source told Radar.
“She thinks that Kim will be better off if she gets back to her regular life of going out in public.
The insider adds:
“She knows that she is doing better and she wants her to resume her responsibilities.”
Kris is nothing if not a master manipulator, and it seems that Kim and Kanye are well aware that the best way tl keep her from getti g her way is just to keep their distance.
“Kim and Kanye are not going to live with Kris when he gets out of the hospital,” the source told Radar.
“She isn’t with her mom now and she certainly isn’t going to be there with Kanye. He needs to recover without Kris around.”
The insider adds:
“It’s been too much for Kim and Kanye living with Kris.
“They need the peace and quiet of their own home. They need to all get better as a family.”
We’d say Kris will just ;ay constant visits in an effort to get them to resume filming, but she physically enter your home without being invited.
