Though it never attained the raging dumpster fire reputation enjoyed by its lowly predeccessor, 2017 was still a hell of a bumpy ride.

Yes, as you may have heard, there’s reason to believe that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together for approximately the 47 millionth time.
And the rumors aren’t just based on BS tabloid reports, either.
We know that at the very least, these two are back on speaking terms.
Over the weekend, Justin and Selena got breakfast together, a meal that, while not quite as romantic as dinner, has a considerably more intimate vibe than lunch.
Next thing you know, these two will be getting brunch together, and at that point, they might as well just start picking out baby names.
Now, as far as anyone knows, Selena is still dating The Weeknd, so hopefully this meal-sharing won’t progress any further.
Most Selena fans were more than happy to see the singer distance herself from Justin and would cringe at the thought of yet another reconciliation.
But we think it’s safe to say they’d probably be okay with the idea of Gomez forming a platonic friendship with the Biebs.
The same can’t be said of Selena’s family, who apparently feel that Justin was such a destructive presence in Gomez’s life that the best thing he could do now is keep as much distance from his ex as possible.
“Justin is a vile human and will never be accepted by us,” one family member who chose to remain anonymous recently told TMZ.
“As long as she is even speaking to him in any way, it is not only disrespectful to everyone around her, it is disrespectful to herself.”
The site says some members of the Gomez clan have gone so far as to say they belueve Justin was the main reason Selena checked into rehab for emotional issues last year.
Unfortunately, it seems their pleas for a Bieber-free existence have fallen on deaf ears.
Selena has been spotted out and about with Justin no fewer than three times in the past week.
Sounds like a Justintervention might be in order!
