Matt Roloff was fortunate enough to deck the hall and jingle some bells with many members of his family on Christmas.
The Little People, Big World star shared a lovely photo on Instagram that was accompanied by a lengthy, profound and revealing caption.
First, the photo:
Now, the first part of Matt’s caption:
“A very Merry Christmas to you all! Jesus Christ is born …May God’s love, grace and blessings be abundant to each ..and every one of you!”
Very simple and to the point. We appreciate the sentiment.
Previously to this sharing, Roloff had gotten into a bit of trouble for other things he had shared on social media.
But what could fans possibly say in objection to this very sweet snapshot, right? (Wait for it. That’s what we in the business refer to as foreshadowing.)
“Our Christmas has been amazing so far,” Matt also wrote, adding mysteriously:
“After being a bit out of the full Christmas spirit the past few years …this Christmas brought on a full new meaning with the Roloff family expansion of our 2 new precious gifts of life… my new grandchildren Jackson and Ember are the biggest blessing one little man can ever have!!”
We’re sure that’s true, but Roloff has left many supporters wondering:
What did he mean by being “out of the full Christmas spirit the past few years?”
Might he be referring to the crumbling of his marriage to Amy Roloff, which finally came to an end in May of 2016 when the reality stars announced their divorce?
Continued Matt:
“First, we had a lively family celebration a few nights ago at my house with several of my close friends, Caryn and of course the grandkids… (they filmed that so you all can share that with us in a ‘few long’ weeks)..
“then I went to Christmas Eve service with my dear friends Bill and Char last night… then a visit with Jer, Auj and the always smiling Ember Jean.
“Later last night Caryn, her daughter and some friends dropped in for a Christmas Eve Fondue party and some wonderful Christmas time together.”
Another question raised: TLC filmed this holiday gathering?!?
Hooray! This must mean Little People, Big World has not been canceled, contrary to these earlier reports.
And another question: Things between Matt and Caryn Chandler really are pretty darn serious, huh?
This has been clear for awhile now, much to the chagrin of some followers who remain aghast that Matt is dating the former manager of his farm.
Chandler and Amy know each other well and Matt’s relationship with her has been the source of some tension.
(Not that Amy was alone this Christmas. She shared the following picture of herself and boyfriend Chris Marek on Instagram in honor of the occasion.)
Finally, take a close look at the first photo in this article again.
It features Zach and Tori Roloff (and son Jackson), along with Audrey and Jeremy Roloff (and daughter Ember).
But where is Jeremy Roloff?
We mostly ask because a new rumor states that Jeremy and Audrey do not get along, possibly because of their contrasting views on religion and faith.
We hadn’t given this much thought before, but it’s true:
Go take a look through the album below, along with each of their social media feeds.
You won’t find any photos of the brother and sister together; nor any photos of Jeremy spending time with his only niece. It does make us think.
Anyway, however, this is the inspiring way Matt concluded his caption:
I realize Christmas can be a rough time for many of you. Some have lost loved ones, have no family or are just not in the spirit to celebrate… I’ve been there myself in years past.
Things do get better to those that stay strong and keep your faith. It’s my wish …And hope for you, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, or whether your feeling a bit humbug this year… that you will accept Some love from our house to yours!
