A Supernatural star has some super, duper news to share:
Jensen Ackles is expecting two more children!!!
According to People Magazine, the beloved (and handsome!) actor will welcome twins into the world later this year, courtesy of wife Danneel’s womb.
A rep for the couple, who got married in 2010, has confirmed that one child will be a boy and one child will be a girl.
How exciting!!!!!!!!!!
The babies will join 3-year-old big sister Justice “JJ” Jay in this expanded family.
And, as you can see, Ackles is a pretty big fan of his daughter:
In response to the news being broken, Ackles Tweeted “Well, I guess the word is out” yesterday, along with a link to this People story.
Danneel then chimed in with the following:
“Yep! Doublemint here we come!…”
Danneel Harris Ackles, of course, starred for years on One Tree Hill as Rachel Gatina.
She is also known for her 2004 role as Shannon McBain on One Life to Live.
Between the passionate fan base of Supernatural and the passionate fan base of One Tree Hill, you’d be hard-pressed to find a couple in Hollywood with… well… more passionate fan bases.
And it doesn’t hurt that they often share sweet family photos on Instagram such as the one below:
Those who watch Supernatural online or on television, of course, are familiar with Ackles as Dean Winchester, a character has has portrayed since the drama’s premiere in 2005.
He and Jared Padalecki make up the best-looking tandem of male co-stars on television.
No offense, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. It’s close, but it’s true.
In August 2015, Ackles jumped on Twitter to share his basis for joining Instagram, shortly after posting an adorable image of himself and JJ.
“In an effort 2 squash some posers, my daughter is helping me start an Instagram profile,” he wrote at the time, adding:
“Chk it out. Hint: it’s just my name.”
This also helps to explain why people adore Jensen Ackles. He’s cute and hilarious!
