Jon and Kate Gosselin: The Twins Are Now 18!
Where does the time go, right, readers?
It seems like only yesterday that Jon and Kate Gosselin were happily married… starring on a hit reality show… and raising eight kids, the oldest of which were precocious twins Cara and Maddy.
But that was then.
Now?
Jon and Kate Gosselin are unmarried and constantly at odds… neither is (currently) starring on a reality show… and Cara and Maddy are 18 years old!!!!
So, we repeat: Where does all that time go?!?
On Monday, October 8, the twins turned this important age, meaning they can now buy tobacco legally and can also vote in the upcoming midterm elections.
In celebration of the occasion, Kate shared a photo of her kids’ cake on Instagram, along with a heartfelt caption.

Elsewhere, Jon Gosselin, who seems to actually want back in the lives of his children, also shared the above message on his social media page.
The controversial father has been spending a ton of time with daughter Hannah of late, with some reports even claiming that he’s now fighting for custody of the teenager.
The two have been posing on Instagram and appear to have put all issues from the past far behind them.
Which is great.
Even the harshest Jon Gosselin critic should admit that it’s better for him to be in the lives of his kids than not be in their lives.
That said, Jon may still have a long way to go until he’s close to either of the new 18-year olds.
Back in April, Mady told People Magazine that she rarely sees her dad — and told the publication very simply that only Jon is to blame for this estrangement.
“He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane,” Mady said at the time, adding:
“He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen.
“He doesn’t even know us.”

Beyonce Reveals Ultra-Rare Photo of Twins Sir and Rumi
It’s been a little over a month since Beyonce and Jay-Z released a joint album out of nowhere as part of Beyonce’s campaign to try to force her fans to accept and forgive her husband.
On Wednesday, Beyonce offered fans an ultra-rare glimpse at her children — all three of them.
It’s hard to believe how much these babies have grown.
On her website — not on Instagram, which may be significant, and we’ll talk about that in a bit — Beyonce first shared a photo of herself with her twins.
Sir Carter and Rumi Carter are just a little over a year old. They turned 1 year old on June 13.
Bey has the two 13-month-olds resting on her lap while she sports a flower crown.
She and Rumi seem to be focused on the same thing.
Sir appears to be focused on something else — or perhaps, as some have suggested, lost in his thoughts.
Those tots are so cute. And speaking of cute. …
The second photo shows Beyonce with Blue Ivy.
Can you guys believe that Blue is six years old? She’s going to be seven in just a few months.
It seems like just yesterday that Illuminati-conspiracy-theorist trolls were imagining that her name was an acronym on Twitter. But no, that was 2012.
In the photo, Beyonce and Blue wear very similar pink dresses as they spend time on the water.
We mentioned that Beyonce shared these on her website, not on Instagram. That seems odd if you want everyone to see your photos, right?
But we can guess as to her motive.
On Sunday, Selena Gomez obliterated Beyonce’s record for the fastest photo to ever reach 1 million likes.
Previously, it had been Bey’s photo announcing that she was pregnant with her twins. Now, it’s a photoset from Selena’s birthday party — she is 26.
Selena reached 1 million likes in only 13 minutes.
Perhaps Beyonce shared these photos to her own website to show that she doesn’t care and isn’t in a competition for Instagram clout — even if it can be very lucrative.
But Selena and Beyonce are both Instagram powerhouses and extremely talented singers and performers.
We can talk about one gaining the upper hand on Instagram without imagining that they are in competition with each other.
Society teaches us to view women as being in competition with each other, but that is not always the case.
Besides, we think that Beyonce sent a very clear message by posting photos that millions of fans would like to see on her website.
Bey just doesn’t give AF about Instagram milestones.
It’s so wonderful to see Beyonce enjoying family time. She had to try hard — and, as we recently learned, suffer miscarriages — before becoming pregnant with Sir and Rumi.
Beyonce revealed in Lemonade that Jay-Z had cheated on her.
Then, last year, in 4:44, Jay-Z confirmed his cheating — and revealed that it had caused such stress to Beyonce that she had suffered miscarriages.
(That would be … unusual, but if someone is struggling with fertility already, stress certainly isn’t going to help)
We’re glad that their perseverance paid off. Their family is so beautiful!

Meghan King Edmonds Welcomes Her Twins! See the First Photo!
Meghan King Edmonds is officially twinning at life.
About six months after revealing to the world that she and her husband Jim were expecting, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum has welcomed a pair of healthy and precious babies into the world.
The ex-Bravo star herself confirmed the exciting news on social media.
“Announcing our perfect, beautiful, and healthy twin baby boys!” Edmonds wrote as a caption alongside a black-and-white photo of the newborns lying on a baby blanket with a footprint theme.
Keeping the names a secret for now, she added:
“They arrived at 10:48 p.m. and 11:32 p.m. on June 5 weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, (20 inches long) and 6 pounds (19.25 inches long.)”
Sharing the same image, Edmonds – who hit .284 with 393 HRs and four Gold Gloves in 17 Major League Baseball seasons – added:
“Everyone is doing well. My wife was a rockstar once again and delivered both babies with no medication. #onetoughlady.”
Prior to the release of this sweet snapshot, Jim teased the big news by sharing the photo below.
He wrote along with it:
“1 little foot each. They made it. Everyone is safe and healthy. Pictures will come soon.”
The semi-famous couple is also parents to 18-month-old daughter Aspen, whom they welcomed in November 2016, while the retired pro athlete also has four kids from a previous marriage.
Back in December, Jim and Meghan announced they were expanding their family via a family photo that included such signs as:
“Our family is growing by four feet and two heartbeats” and “Edmonds twin boys June 2018.”
Edmonds, meanwhile, ended her run on The Real Housewives back in January, not long after alerting the universe to her pregnancy.
There remains a few questions over whether she quit or whether she was fired, but this is what she wrote on her blog at the time:
“Today is a bittersweet day for me. After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat.”
She went on to add:
“I arrived at this multi-faceted decision after much thought, and then I thought some more.
“As you might suspect filming this show takes a massive emotional toll: I’m literally filming my real life in real time and engaged in situations and circumstances which can be contentious.
“Then, when the show airs, we relive some of the most trying moments in our lives and then endure the public’s reaction; we never come out as winners to every viewer.”
Overall, Edmonds explained, “filming is grueling.”
Concluded Edmonds (who, yes, actually channeled Beyonce for a pregnancy shoot, as you can see above) in this emotional message:
“I must focus on my family and my pregnancy. I will miss the rush of the first all-cast event of the season, the anticipation of receiving each week’s episode, the thrill of wrapping the reunion.
“I have made soul sisters in Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge and that can’t be lost.
“They have touched my heart and I would do anything for them and I know they feel the same way about me – what a gift to have found that on RHOC!
“But I guess it’s time for me to become an actual real housewife of sorts. Oh, the irony!”

Meghan Markle: Pregnant? WITH TWINS?!?
For Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, first came love.
Then, just a few weeks ago, came a gorgeous and wildly anticipated marriage.
Now, based on a semi-reliable tabloid report, comes TWO babies in TWO baby carriages.*
(*Or maybe one of those double baby carries that has one set of wheels, yet two spots into which you can place your kids. You know the kind we’re parenthetically talking about here, right?)
Oh, yes, readers: Markle is pregnant with twins!!!!!
If the National Enquirer is to be believed, that is.
The latest issue of this questionable publication features a headline that screams “Meghan & Harry Having Twins!”
It includes with it a few bullet points that aim to drive this rumor home, specifically:
- Secret visit to the fertility clinic!
- Who the newlyweds told first!
- Why the Queen is horrified!
Flip open this cover and the affiliated story states that Harry and his lovely new bride are “already telling pals that she’s pregnant – with twins,” seemingly confirming the claim via an anonymous quote that reads as follows:
“They won’t announce for some time, or until the end of the first trimester, as is the American custom.”
(For the record, we must ask: Is this custom really American? It’s just based on the medical fact that a miscarriage becomes less likely after a woman is 12 weeks along.)
This, of course, is not the first time a newspaper or magazine has alleged that Markle is pregnant.
Now that she and Harry are married and Prince William and Kate Middleton have welcomed their third child, Royal Family fans are anxious for the next thing about which they can be excited.
And apparently Pippa Middleton’s pregnancy just isn’t cutting it.
So anyway: Is this report true?
Is Markle actually expecting?!?
A “well-placed palace mole” inside Kensington Palace tells the Enquirer than Markle had been “secretly [visiting] fertility docs months before” the royal wedding.
She also consulted with a nutritionist and put Prince Harry on “cleansing supplements and vitamins” to make sure a baby could be made when the couple had unproteced sex.
It’s unclear how the inside knows all of this.
What is clear, however, is that the photo the Enquirer uses above, which is claims depicts Markle’s baby bump, was snapped in 2014.
OOOHHH, BUSTED!
Therefore, we find it very difficult to believe that a Royal Baby is due any time soon.
This said, we’d be surprised if Markle and Harry don’t get pregnant at some point in the next year or so.
They may even be trying as we speak, considering the recent report that claimed these newlyweds are already engaged in very hot baby-making sex.
We should probably leave them to it then, huh?

Gosselin Twins to Jon: You Don"t Love Us!
DISCLAIMER:
We’re very sorry that the Gosselin family is back in the news.
Trust us, we wish this were not the case and that you never had to read about Kate or Jon ever again.
But Kate Gosselin has actually signed on to anchor her very own dating show, and she’s agreed to a deal with People Magazine to promote said show.
As part of this deal, the publication actually spoke on record to 17-year old twins Mady and Cara, about whom Kate recently said the following when it comes to her love life:
“Now that they’re older and talking about dating and how they’re all gonna get married someday … it became apparent: they want someone for me.
“They want me to have somebody in my life.”
Along these lines, except the exact opposite, Mady and Cara have opened up to People and said some rather harsh things about their dad.
Specifically, they claim that Jon Gosselin is NOT a person who is currently in their life.
“He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane,” Mady says, adding:
“He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen.”
Wow, huh? Ouch!
Back in November, we reported that Jon was going to fight for custody of his children.
But take one look at his Instagram page and you may not even realize he has children, considering the entire thing is practically filled with nothing but posters such as the one above.
That is, ads for Jon’s appearances at various clubs that have hired him as a DJ for some reason.
“He doesn’t even know us,” Mady also tells People. “How can he dare to talk about us?
This is the harshest and most straightforward we’ve ever heard any Gosselin kids speak about their father.
Jon did wish his twins a happy 17th birthday six months ago, but that was the last reference he made to them on social media.
Kate and Jon rose to fame well over a decade ago as the leads of Jon & Kate Plus 8.
They surprised absolutely no one who watched their painful marriage on television when they announced their separation in 2009.
Since then, Jon has focused on his DJing career, while battling Kate for custody of the twins and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel, who turn 14 next month.
However, in August of 2016, Mady and Cara said that they weren’t speaking to their dad, who had given interviews to some media outlets about his strained relationship with his daughters.
Of course, Kate has also discussed her kids often in public.
This right here is a photo of them on the set of The View.
But one big difference, it seems, is that Kate hasn’t bad-mouthed her sons or daughters.
She hasn’t blamed them for any kind of poor relationship and she has seemingly always asked for their permission any time they were placed in the spotlight.
Don’t get us wrong, Kate Gosselin sucks a whole lot, too.
We aren’t very big fans of her and we’d rather watch Chrisley Knows Best over her ridiculous upcoming dating show
But she does seem to at least know the names of all her children.
We’re not entirely sure the same thing can be said of Jon.

Vienna Girardi Grieves Miscarried Twins on Scheduled Due Date
Last August, former The Bachelor contestant (and winner) Vienna Girardi suffered a tragic miscarriage. Grief-stricken, she reported that she had lost both twins.
That was five months before her due date.
Now that what what would have been her due date has come, Vienna is posting about how she’s coping — and not coping — with her loss.
Back in June, we were so happy to report that Vienna Girardi was not only pregnant, but expecting twin daughters.
On August 5th, Vienna Girardi tragically miscarried. On August 13th, she was finally ready to share the sad news.
“My water broke due to the amniotic sacs rupturing. I spent the next 2 days in the hospital trying everything to save them.”
A heartbreaking and desperate fight. One that she and the doctors ultimately lost.
“My little angels went to Heaven on Aug 5. And I was rushed into the OR for emergency surgery and was in the ICU for 4 days.”
Devastating.
“Your mommy will never forget you and I loved you both with my entire heart.”
On Wednesday, January 10th, Vienna Girardi posted an update on how she’s doing:
“Today should have been a day to rejoice and celebrate life… today was my due date.”
Sometimes, something as simple as a date on a calendar can break your heart all over again. It’s tough to ignore.
“Instead I’m finding it hard to even get out of bed, hard to smile or feel anything at all.”
That is very understandable. Grief can seem to suck the life out of you and rob you of any sense of hope or joy.
She describes what sound like serious depression symptoms, and she doesn’t try to sugarcoat things.
“I feel numb as I stand outside watching my dogs; it’s wet and gloomy as if the world knows and feels my pain.”
She says that one thing has gotten easier: wearing a facade that everything’s fine and normal.
“Each day has gotten easier to for me to put a smile on and pretend everything is ok but not today.”
Coping with grief can be a fake-it-until-you-make-it process, but on some days, everybody has to drop the false smile.
“I can’t pretend today.”
Just because she can’t seem to feel happiness doesn’t mean that she’s entirely numb.
“I’m hurting, I’m sad, and I feel empty.”
And she continues:
“I still wondering why and I still get angry and today I’m mad and sad and just want it to be ok to feel this way.”
She ends her post with a broken heart emoji.
Very appropriate.
Different people respond to different situations in different ways. Just because you may know someone who “shook it off” after a miscarriage doesn’t mean that someone else’s sorrow is somehow invalid.
And, chances are that the people who “dealt with it” didn’t, actually — that they’re just better at hiding it.
It’s good that Vienna is sufficiently in touch with her emotions that she can describe exactly what she feels and what she doesn’t — what she can’t — feel at this point in her grieving process.
That will help her to heal.
That … and time. Nothing can make it better, but time can make it easier.

Kate Middleton: Pregnant with Twins?!
The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, has reportedly one-upped Meghan Markle. Or two-upped, as the case may be:
She’s pregnant with twins, allegedly!
As you can see by the cover of the always-reputable OK! Magazine above, the royal mum is now expecting a third baby … and a fourth:
“Kate’s Baby Surprise: Twin Girls!”
What more do you need to know?!
Especially since the “palace confirms” this, that must make it official, right? A celebrity gossip publication wouldn’t make that up, right?!
The tabloid reports breathlessly that “Duchess Kate and Prince William are expecting two girls,” which truly would be thrilling if correct.
Specifically, “word has leaked from Kensington Palace” about the baby news after Kate “recently confessed the news to a close friend.”
“She had an inkling it might be twins because she’s gaining more weight than she did during her previous pregnancies,” a source said.
“When she found out she’s carrying twins,” the source said, everything started to come together, and “it all made sense” to the 35-year-old.
Naturally, this was super awesome, and “the development came as a wonderful surprise to William” too. Then there’s the gender aspect.
The couple would’ve been over the moon anyway, but were even more so “when they learned that the babies are identical twin girls.”
OMG! So many princesses!
We know they had one perfect name picked out for a girl, but now, let the Kate Middleton baby name speculation ramp up anew!
Queen Elizabeth II, for her part, is further described as “overjoyed” to watch two additional grandchildren grow into upstanding adults.
She will live forever, after all.
Don’t expect Kate or William to talk about this publicly, though, as “the couple won’t be releasing an official statement for some time.”
The publication’s source also says that “the families have been sworn to secrecy about this news,” which is a dubious claim, honestly.
As venerable celebrity news detectives at Gossip Cop point out, how can it be confirmed and secret at the same time?! It’s so baffling.
Talk of Kate Middleton pregnant with twins has taken the web by storm before. As in on multiple occasions with all three of her pregnancies.
It didn’t happen the first two times.
Moreover, the couple said this fall: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018.”
That’s A BABY singular. So …
While it’s certainly possible that they didn’t know it was twins at the time, or simply wrote it that way to keep things simple, we’re skeptical.
According to an earlier report, Kate has been working hard so George and Charlotte can “participate in making the baby feel welcome.”
Again, one little one.
And while Will “desperately wants to keep Kate happy but worries she’s overtaxing herself,” the source says, that would be true anyway.
Being pregnant with two little ankle-biters running around is taxing whether you’re expecting one or two more in the coming months.
All we can tell you is that, twins or not, between Kate’s family and Meghan marrying Harry, 2018 will be a joyous year to remember for the royals.
