Beyonce Reveals Ultra-Rare Photo of Twins Sir and Rumi

It’s been a little over a month since Beyonce and Jay-Z released a joint album out of nowhere as part of Beyonce’s campaign to try to force her fans to accept and forgive her husband.

On Wednesday, Beyonce offered fans an ultra-rare glimpse at her children — all three of them.

It’s hard to believe how much these babies have grown.

On her website — not on Instagram, which may be significant, and we’ll talk about that in a bit — Beyonce first shared a photo of herself with her twins.

Sir Carter and Rumi Carter are just a little over a year old. They turned 1 year old on June 13.

Bey has the two 13-month-olds resting on her lap while she sports a flower crown.

She and Rumi seem to be focused on the same thing.

Sir appears to be focused on something else — or perhaps, as some have suggested, lost in his thoughts.

Those tots are so cute. And speaking of cute. …

The second photo shows Beyonce with Blue Ivy.

Can you guys believe that Blue is six years old? She’s going to be seven in just a few months.

It seems like just yesterday that Illuminati-conspiracy-theorist trolls were imagining that her name was an acronym on Twitter. But no, that was 2012.

In the photo, Beyonce and Blue wear very similar pink dresses as they spend time on the water.

We mentioned that Beyonce shared these on her website, not on Instagram. That seems odd if you want everyone to see your photos, right?

But we can guess as to her motive.

On Sunday, Selena Gomez obliterated Beyonce’s record for the fastest photo to ever reach 1 million likes.

Previously, it had been Bey’s photo announcing that she was pregnant with her twins. Now, it’s a photoset from Selena’s birthday party — she is 26.

Selena reached 1 million likes in only 13 minutes.

Perhaps Beyonce shared these photos to her own website to show that she doesn’t care and isn’t in a competition for Instagram clout — even if it can be very lucrative.

But Selena and Beyonce are both Instagram powerhouses and extremely talented singers and performers.

We can talk about one gaining the upper hand on Instagram without imagining that they are in competition with each other.

Society teaches us to view women as being in competition with each other, but that is not always the case.

Besides, we think that Beyonce sent a very clear message by posting photos that millions of fans would like to see on her website.

Bey just doesn’t give AF about Instagram milestones.

It’s so wonderful to see Beyonce enjoying family time. She had to try hard — and, as we recently learned, suffer miscarriages — before becoming pregnant with Sir and Rumi.

Beyonce revealed in Lemonade that Jay-Z had cheated on her.

Then, last year, in 4:44, Jay-Z confirmed his cheating — and revealed that it had caused such stress to Beyonce that she had suffered miscarriages.

(That would be … unusual, but if someone is struggling with fertility already, stress certainly isn’t going to help)

We’re glad that their perseverance paid off. Their family is so beautiful!

Rumi and Sir Carter: First Photos Revealed!

Ever since Beyonce gave birth to twins back in June, she and Jay-Z have been very careful about keeping Sir and Rumi out of the public eye. With an exception.

Some would say that they"re being too careful or even selfish; others applaud them for looking after the privacy of their babies instead of showing them off.

Well … it looks like Beyonce and Jay-Z let down their guard. Because the world is getting its first glimpse of the twins, and this was clearly not planned.

Obviously, we"ve seen Sir and Rumi.

Beyonce shared a photo of the twins and of herself.

Just as in her pregnancy photo, she looked radiant and magical and like she belonged in a Renaissance painting (Italian, not Northern).

Or at the very least in a much more contemporary fairy painting.

We know that the twins are alive and well, though they spent extra time in the hospital due to a health issue.

We know that their names are Sir and Rumi, and we know what their names mean.

(Sir is named for his perceived assertiveness upon his birth, while Rumi is named after Beyonce and Jay-Z"s favorite poet)

But, aside fromt hat one (glorious) picture, the twins have been out of sight, if not out of mind.

Along with their big sister Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi are a blessing in Beyonce and Jay-Z"s lives.

But we know that things have been less than perfect for this epic power couple.

In her epic Lemonade album with the music video journey that captivated the world, Beyonce revealed that Jay-Z had done the unthinkable:

He had cheated on her.

But it wasn"t until Jay-Z"s 4:44 album came out that the world really came to understand the full extent of Jay-Z"s infidelity.

This was so much more than just Becky With The Good Hair, folks.

Though his tone and lyrics seemed deeply remorseful, Jay-Z seemed to almost humble-brag about almost losing his family because of a threesome.

Threesomes are considered unusual in some communities and common in others, but most people don"t bring them up unless they want people to know that they"ve participated.

Jay-Z"s lyrics referred to specifics about how he and his wandering penis had directly impacted his and Beyonce"s efforts to grow their family.

Within the tracks of 4:44, Jay-Z lamented his cheating and the distress that it had caused Beyonce.

Not only for its own sake, but because of the very physical toll that the anguish had taken on Beyonce.

We"re talking about miscarriages, folks.

We"re not Beyonce"s doctor and we"re woefully unqualified (not being doctors and also not being experts in the particular medical needs of demigods), so we can"t speak to the actual degree to which Jay-Z"s cheating contributed to Beyonce"s failed pregnancies.

But it"s clear that the couple believes that it had a role.

But now, things are so much marriage. Not only between Beyonce and Jay-Z, but for their whole family.

Sir and Rumi are in their lives and in Blue Ivy"s life. And now the world has gotten a little sneak peek, as you can see in the video below.

The 5-month-old twins got some time outside at Beyonce and Jay-Z"s mansion in Miami, Florida.

Rumi and Sir Carter: What Do Their Birth Certificates Reveal?

Beyonce and Jay Z are the parents to a brand new baby boy and baby girl.

Perhaps you’ve heard.

Perhaps you’ve also heard their unique names: Rumi and Sir Carter, as confirmed by the artist herself in a memorable Instagram post just a few days ago.

Other than this first name confirmation, neither Beyonce nor Jay Z has said much of anything about their kids.

According to various celebrity gossip outlets, the superstars are caring for the kids in a rented mansion and are making every effort to avoid the spotlight for the time being.

They don’t want to expose little Rumi or little Sir to the glare of the Hollywood spotlight at such a young age and we don’t blame them one bit.

However, TMZ has obtained the birth certificate for the twins and it does reveal some new information about each/

For example:

Rumi is the oldest. She was born about a minute before her brother, at 5:13 a.m. on June 13.

(This means the Carter twins share a birthday with another set of twins: the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley. How fun!)

This official document also states that Dr. Paul Crane delivered the babies, which is only of note because he also delivered Kim Kardashian’s two kids… Kourtney Kardashian’s three kids… AND Black Chyna’s daughter.

We wonder whether Kanye West recommended Crane to his good pal, Jay Z.

(Or his former good pal, that is, prior to their shocking falling out.)

Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z’s first child, has three names. She is called Blue Ivy Carter.

This isn’t the case for Rumi and Sir, though. They are simply Rumi Carter and Sir Carter. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Those are all the interesting pieces of information revealed via the birth certificates.

An earlier E! News report, however, took us inside the new, exciting and sleep-deprived world of the kids’ parents.

Insiders tell the website that Beyonce is in good health. She’s eating well and keeping herself active, although she isn’t doing any over-the-top workouts at the moment.

Due to her C-section, it may be a long time before she can truly break a sweat once again.

As for the tension between Bey and Jay? Yes, it existed for awhile. It was real. The latter has basically admitted the cheating on the former.

But the stars are fully committed to both their marriage and to their three children. They are all about co-parenting, are getting along well and obviously have no plans to divorce.

Finally… what about Blue?

It can be challenging for a toddler to be thrust into the role of older sibling.

There are new responsibilities for her and the adjustment of no longer being the center of attention.

Thankfully, this E! report says Blue is helping her parents as best she can when it comes to Rumi and Sir, changing their diapers, giving them a bath and generally embracing the role of young role model.

How adorable, right?!?

We’ll give this famous family all the privacy it wants during this special time.

But we hope Beyonce and Jay Z know how much we are thinking of them and wishing them well.
