Erika Girardi: Quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Please, No!

On the heels of last week’s shade-filled reunion, many fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are concerned about cast shakeups.

Someone tweeted a rumor that Erika Girardi might be leaving the series — of her own volition!

This could be devastating to her fans.

This heartbreaking rumor was broadcast on Twitter.

“Hearing that @erikajayne has quit #RHOBH and that a statement will be published after this season airs.”

Even the tweeter acknowledges that this dire prediction is not confirmed.

“Could just be a rumor.”

But she thinks that it’s the real deal.

Here is the tweet itself:

The tweet continues, this time with less rumor and more opinion.

“However after this season plus Reunion Part 1, I would not be surprised if this [were] true.”

Clearly, not everyone would be sorry to see Erika go.

“And I can’t say I would care either, bye girl!”

Harsh.

It’s understandable that people might believe that this is a sensible time for Erika to leave.

After all, Erika seemed to be a little “checked out” during recent The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episodes. Including the reunion.

Normally not one to half-ass anything, particularly in defense of herself or of others, she’s limited responses to lines like “I am so confused.”

What’s the most heated that Erika has been on the show lately? The confrontation over “fake amnesia?”

Additionally, look at Erika’s career.

She’s still popular, and her recent memoir made the New York Times Bestseller’s list.

There’s a wisdom in quitting while you’re ahead.

What’s more, Reality Blurb says that their source close to production says that Erika has been threatening to quit.

But … threats aren’t the same as follow-through.

At time same time … Erika might make a mistake if she leaves.

For example, not every Real Housewife gets to become a meme that’s used by people who don’t even know that it’s from a Real Housewives show.

The above gif has been widely used for years across social media platforms. Meme status is something to treasure.

Additionally, though Erika was famous before she ever became a Real Housewife, she might expect for her visibility to fall if she leaves the show.

Just as people might point to her recent book sales making this a great time to leave, it could also be a reminder that being a Real Housewife has its advantages.

If you want to sell something, being on a show makes that a lot easier.

Just saying.

The best evidence that Erika probably isn’t leaving the franchise doesn’t come from speculation about the timing or whatnot.

Recently, Erika was seen doing promo work with Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss.

It would be very strange to be taking promo photos with fellow Real Housewives (especially from a different series) if you’re not, you know, staying with the show.

It sounds to us like Erika threatened to quit, which created rumors that she’s leaving the show, but ultimately stuck with it.

But that’s just our guess, based upon these reports. You never know.

Vienna Girardi Grieves Miscarried Twins on Scheduled Due Date

Last August, former The Bachelor contestant (and winner) Vienna Girardi suffered a tragic miscarriage. Grief-stricken, she reported that she had lost both twins.

That was five months before her due date.

Now that what what would have been her due date has come, Vienna is posting about how she’s coping — and not coping — with her loss.

Back in June, we were so happy to report that Vienna Girardi was not only pregnant, but expecting twin daughters.

On August 5th, Vienna Girardi tragically miscarried. On August 13th, she was finally ready to share the sad news.

“My water broke due to the amniotic sacs rupturing. I spent the next 2 days in the hospital trying everything to save them.”

A heartbreaking and desperate fight. One that she and the doctors ultimately lost.

“My little angels went to Heaven on Aug 5. And I was rushed into the OR for emergency surgery and was in the ICU for 4 days.”

Devastating.

“Your mommy will never forget you and I loved you both with my entire heart.”

On Wednesday, January 10th, Vienna Girardi posted an update on how she’s doing:

“Today should have been a day to rejoice and celebrate life… today was my due date.”

Sometimes, something as simple as a date on a calendar can break your heart all over again. It’s tough to ignore.

“Instead I’m finding it hard to even get out of bed, hard to smile or feel anything at all.”

That is very understandable. Grief can seem to suck the life out of you and rob you of any sense of hope or joy.

She describes what sound like serious depression symptoms, and she doesn’t try to sugarcoat things.

“I feel numb as I stand outside watching my dogs; it’s wet and gloomy as if the world knows and feels my pain.”

She says that one thing has gotten easier: wearing a facade that everything’s fine and normal.

“Each day has gotten easier to for me to put a smile on and pretend everything is ok but not today.”

Coping with grief can be a fake-it-until-you-make-it process, but on some days, everybody has to drop the false smile.

“I can’t pretend today.”

Just because she can’t seem to feel happiness doesn’t mean that she’s entirely numb.

“I’m hurting, I’m sad, and I feel empty.”

And she continues:

“I still wondering why and I still get angry and today I’m mad and sad and just want it to be ok to feel this way.”

She ends her post with a broken heart emoji.

Very appropriate.

Different people respond to different situations in different ways. Just because you may know someone who “shook it off” after a miscarriage doesn’t mean that someone else’s sorrow is somehow invalid.

And, chances are that the people who “dealt with it” didn’t, actually — that they’re just better at hiding it.

It’s good that Vienna is sufficiently in touch with her emotions that she can describe exactly what she feels and what she doesn’t — what she can’t — feel at this point in her grieving process.

That will help her to heal.

That … and time. Nothing can make it better, but time can make it easier.

Vienna Girardi Suffers Miscarriage of Twin Daughters

Vienna Girardi has made a heartbreaking announcement.

The former Bachelor suitor – who earned a proposal on Season 14 from Jake Pavelka, but split from the reality star several months later – revealed on Facebook that she has suffered a miscarriage.

Girardi had been pregnant with twins and was 18 weeks along when the tragedy hit.

She broke this exciting news to fans back in early June.

“On Aug 3rd, I went in for an ultra sound bc the Perinatologist notice one of my twins had more fluids than the other which was the first sign of TTTS(Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome) this is when one twin takes more nutrients than the other,” Girardi explained, adding:

“They said that it did look like it had improved over the last week though.”

She proceeded to go into more sad detail about what happened:

“Unfortunately, that was not the case and that evening my water broke due to the amniotic sacs rupturing. I spent the next 2 days in the hospital trying everything to save them.”

Girardi wrote that physicians told her she would have to deliver the children or risk losing her own life – at just 18 weeks, though, the twins had “a very slim chance under 5%” that they would survive.

“So as any mother would do I did everything to save them but their hearts stopped beating on day two which is also when I went into septic shock with 104 fever,” she tragically continued.

“My little angels went to Heaven on Aug 5th and I was rushed into the OR for emergency surgery and was in the ICU for 4 days.”

We truly cannot imagine what this must have been like for Girardi.

We cannot imagine what she is going through right now.

Girardi lives in Orlando and is engaged to Todd Allen.

After lying in bed for days and mourning her loved ones, she made the brave choice to donate the twins to science in the hopes that scientists will one day learn more about TTTS.

“This was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life but I knew my little girls were in Heaven already and the pain I feel I would never want any mother to ever feel.”

She concluded as follows:

“I don’t know why this happened and I pray the Lord gives me strength to understand why he needed my little girls,” she concluded.

“RIP My Sweet Angels. Your mommy will never forget you and I loved you both with my entire heart.”

Girardi’s rep Richard Harlow told People Magazine that his client hosted a gender reveal party just four days before the tragedy took place.

She nearly died.

“Her heart is heavy,” Harlow says.

“Having cried with her, I can honestly say this is one of the worst things I’ve experienced with my close friend and client of 7 years.

“It’s a devastating experience. She wants everyone to know how much she loved her little babies.”

Vienna Girardi: I"m Having Twins!

Bachelor “Villain” Vienna Girardi isn’t just pregnant, though that would be news enough.

She’s expecting twins.

Vienna Girardi wasn’t just a contestant on Season 14 of The Bachelor — she won Jake Pavelka’s heart in the final episode.

And then the two of them split.

But you could argue that her real claim to fame was their interview about their breakup.

She accused him of being a habitual liar and of saying truly nasty things to her after about the first month of their post-Bachelor relationship.

Jake accused her of, basically, being nuts. And of cheating on him.

And of selling their story — or her version of it —  to the tabloids while they were still basically together.

That last part, at least, is true.

Honestly, neither of them came across in a flattering light in that interview.

So it’s really for the best that they didn’t stick together.

Vienna hasn’t been especially visible over the last few years, aside from a few relationships and a dramatic stint on a relationship rehab show.

We all know that there are some reality personalities who refuse to vanish from headlines for even a moment.

Vienna’s, for the most part, given the world some space.

But she hasn’t disappeared altogether, either.

Last October, she got engaged to race car driver Todd Allen.

And now she’s pregnant — with twins, no less.

A lot of parents would be freaking out at this point, but Vienna seems to be all kinds of enthused.

“Twice the blessing, twice the fun,” is written on the picture of her ultrasound.

That’s a good attitude to have, because having twins also means more than twice the work, twice the chaos.

And let’s not even get into the diaper business.

Of course, she’ll only be adding to the legions of babies produced by the many, many contestants who’ve appeared on The Bachelor and Bachelor-related properties over the years.

She’s previously stated that she doesn’t watch reality television anymore — because she knows that it’s not especially real.

But she certainly made an impression.

What remains to be seen is how much growth she’s had since she was the whiny and emotional trainwreck we all knew and tolerated.

Sometimes the qualities that make for a good reality star are the exact opposites of what make someone a good mother.

But you know, even based solely on the fact that she hasn’t been desperately throwing herself into the spotlight, we’re feeling a little optimistic.

Plus, sometimes having kids can really change people.

Even in ways that no one expects.

One day, these kids are going to be old enough to realize who their mom is and to look up her reality TV shenanigans.

That’ll be interesting, to say the least.

In the meantime, well … twins are a handful.

Even for celebrities.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 Episode 19 Recap: Erika Girardi vs. PK Kemsley

Erika Girardi is tired of the accusations that she ices people out for no reason. 

That was not her biggest concern on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 Episode 19, as she finally got to have it out with PK Kemsley over his persistent hatred towards her.

When the episode got underway, Andy Cohen wanted to know why Erika melted down in Hong Kong after Eileen Davidson made a lofty claim about her son. 

Erika reiterated what she had already said to Eileen about the freakout, and felt it was best to leave it in the past. That was probably for the best. 

We then switched gears to get some insight into the feuding between Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump. Most of their issues stemmed from the fact one did not know when the other was being sincere. 

“You and I had a moment where you reached out to [me], and that was a powerful moment,” Rinna said.

“We shared a moment with a really special person when we went to get those ponies.”

It turned out that a pilot they had befriended died in a crash. 

“I thought, ‘My God, it just puts everything in perspective,"” Vanderpump said, with teary eyes. Vanderpump then revealed that she found it sincere, but then she saw the tape. 

“But then I see the tape, and I just get pissed off,” Vanderpump added.

With one friendship on the mend, Andy turned to Dorit to let her know her accent was causing some drama on social media. 

She said that her family was not American and that she spoke Hebrew, Italian and Spanish fluently. 

Even though Rinna felt the accent was all over the place, Dorit shrugged it off. It sure seems like she’s done some maturing since filming ended. 

Things took a turn when PK joined in the fun. Andy questioned how he became so rich, and he had a perfect response.

“I started richer,” he laughed. “I started in ’95, and I spent the first 20 years of my career in real estate.”

He did not exactly give a solid answer. He opted to waffle, perhaps hoping that would confuse people enough to keep quiet about his past. 

Andy wanted to know whether PK getting involved in the feuds was too much and he did agree he could have been more reserved. 

Erika cringed as Andy showed off all of the drama with the underwear. 

“It’s embarrassing,” Erika said. “It’s not something that was done on purpose. It was something that was made into something that it wasn’t.”

While Dorit tried to imply that Erika blurted it out, Kyle refuted the claims and said she was asked the question. 

PK wanted everyone to know he was trying to make light of it all by bringing it up several times throughout the course of the season. 

Just as things appeared to be getting back on track, Erika snapped at PK when he said she was trashing his wife a little too much. 

“I’m not calling her a nasty person,” Erika said without any hesitation. “I’m calling you a nasty person for saying that s–t about me.”  

Could things really get more strained for this group? We’ll find out next week!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 17 Recap: Who Did Erika Girardi Apologize To?

Did Dorit take cocaine with her gal pals at Lisa Rinna’s party?

That was one of the more pressing questions on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 17 as the bickering between the ladies hit crazy new heights.

When the episode got underway, the ladies were still going at it, with Dorit turning on the water works to claim she was not the type of person Rinna tried to imply. 

“Rinna just gets so upset that you just don’t know what she’s going to pull out of that bag of hers, but it’s going to be one sharp dagger,” Kyle Richards said to the camera.

“I saw what I saw, and that behavior speaks pretty loudly,” Rinna said to the camera.

The next day, Lisa Vanderpump decided to play peacemaker and visited Rinna to say she felt she was horrible to Dorit. 

Vanderpump invited Rinna to a wine tasting at her house to see if she and Dorit could make things right with each other. 

“Maybe she could apologize to Dorit because she’s really been kind of a bitch to her, to be honest,” Vanderpump said to the camera.

While Rinna escaped to Philadephia for a work commitment, the other ladies embarked on a shopping trip, but Eden’s strange behavior continued. 

Eden decided to latch on to Erika and tried to buy her a friendship ring.

“I don’t understand why you’re buying me this ring,” Erika said, confused.

“Because I love you!” Eden screamed back. “Just say thank you, and ‘I love you, too."”

Yeah, there’s something odd about the way Eden tries to make nice with the ladies.

Some time later, Erika, Eileen, and Kyle met for lunch. Erika wanted to apologize for the way she behaved towards Eileen. 

“I’m sorry that I had a meltdown on you at the table. I apologize. It has nothing to do with you. I was stressed out, and those words are very sensitive to me, so I had a meltdown,” she said.

“I was tired, and I was exhausted from that fight [with Dorit] and from trying to take the high road — and then I took the low road,” Erika giggled.

“I’m not sure that Dorit is sincere,” Erika said.

“I’m not sure that either she or PK understand what they’ve done.”

Meanwhile, Dorit met with PK and told him about the cocaine claims. He called her “schizophrenic” before taking aim at Erika. 

“I’m not calling her husband!” he said.

“She should call her husband because she doesn’t see him very often. Check in. ‘How you doing, Tom?’ It’s been six months.”

Is it just us, or does PK seem like someone who is stuck in high school? Grow the eff up.

Lisa Vanderpump’s lavish party finally arrived, and the ladies struggled to stick to the dress code. Apparently, red, pink and diamonds were part of the dress code. 

That’s a typical LVP party right there. Vanderpump noticed Dorit was acting strangely. Dorit revealed the tension amongst the group of ladies was getting to her. 

Surprisingly, there was no cliffhanger. Everything seemed to go well, but there’s still one more episode left this season for all the drama to go down.

Did Erika Girardi turn on Dorit Kemsley?

That was a key question on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 16 as the trip to Hong Kong continued.

When the episode got underway, the two women continued their epic argument.

“You’re dying for my attention, and now you have it!” Erika shouted at Dorit.

“What on Earth would I need from you, Erika?” Dorit yelled. “You’re not interesting. You’re not fun. You’re cold as f–king ice.”

Erika then revealed that Panty Gate was still on her mind. 

“Do you think I’m really going to like you after everything that happened with the underwear?” Erika asked. “You took something that was innocent and turned it into this, ‘Oh, she’s doing it on purpose."”

If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you will already know that Erika’s underwear caused quite the stir at a party a few weeks back. 

Erika revealed to the camera that she felt great calling Dorit out. 

“It felt good to tell Dorit to go f–k herself.”

Surprisingly, Dorit was quick to point out that she had no idea Erika felt as strongly as she did about the whole thing. After that, Lisa Rinna chimed in that Dorit should have apologized on behalf of PK. 

“I’m sorry that my husband was glaring at your vagina.”

Dorit’s apology paved the way for Lisa Rinna to point in her face. Lisa Vanderpump spoke up with her views on the matter.

“They basically all thought it was a great idea, and then when Erika didn’t take it as quite a joke, they backed off. That’s not fair,” she said.

Erika fired back that she was still not impressed with the way Dorit was treating her. 

“This is f–king bulls–t. She’s out to humiliate me. Hooray, you did it.”

On the car ride home, Erika revealed she felt like she had not been treated fairly and thought Dorit should take that into consideration. 

Elsewhere, Vanderpump, Kyle, and Dorit went somewhere else to try and stop the arguing. Dorit persisted to trash Erika and said that her squad was probably getting in her head. 

The next day, the ladies met for dinner, and Rinna wasted no time in asking Dorit whether she had apologized to Erika. Erika revealed she had not. 

Erika pressed, saying it was something that should have never been spoken of again. As you can probably expect, Dorit said she had no recollection of what went down. 

Kyle went for Rinna when she brought Dorit’s husband into it. Apparently, it was because Kim said something about Harry Hamlin in the past and Lisa did not like it. 

Erika dropped the bomb that the root of her concern was that she, herself, had to explain to her husband about the whole incident.

“Making me out to be a f–king slut or a whore or trying to seduce someone’s husband — it was at my expense, and I’m the one who has to live through that,” she snapped.

“You can apologize to him and say, ‘You know what Tom, I f–ked up,’ and then your husband can apologize to him, too.”

Dorit agreed that was the best course of action, but when everything seemed okay, it all kicked off again. Eileen said something she should not have. 

“Don’t ever talk about my kid again! Shut the f–k up! You don’t know what I deal with every night! That’s really insensitive. Your kid’s not out there!”

Apparently, Erika’s kid is a police officer. 

Okay then. 

Things went from bad to worse when Rinna asked if Dorit was doing cocaine in her house.

Erika Girardi Suffers Epic Meltdown: Watch the Tears Flow!

Erika Girardi has had herself quite the week.

On Monday evening, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star made her debut on Dancing with the Stars, entering on board a unicorn, descending a flight of silver glittery stairs and then doing this on stage:

Then, on Tuesday night, the Bravo actress was featured in one of the most unexpected breakdowns in show history. 

During a trip to Hong Kong, Girardi was reduced to anger and tears after good friend Eileen Davidson tried to smooth things over between Erika and Dorit after their blowout on the junk boat.

"She didn"t kill your child," Davidson told Giradi, attempting to put their argument into perspective.

But this comment simply shifted gears in Erika"s mind to her son, who is a police officer and whose life is therefore on the line with every shift.

"Hey, Eileen, let"s not do that," Girardi shot back. "And don"t ever bring up killing my child again because my child could get killed."

Davidson said many times that she didn"t mean her remark like that… but it was too late.

"Eileen, your kid doesn"t put on a uniform every night and put his life out on the line for people he doesn"t know," Erika said, growing more and more emotional.

Lisa Rinna went over to console Girardi, but the tears were flowing and the pressure of everything was too much to bear.

She cursed at Davidson and she continued to tell everyone to never bring up her child again.

"I"m very proud of my son being in law enforcement, but obviously it can get a little nerve racking," Erika has previously said to Bravo, adding:

"It’s a dangerous profession. I"ve known my son was going to be in law enforcement from the time he could walk and talk. That"s all he’s ever wanted and that"s kind of your role as a parent is to honor who your children really are."
