The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Twin Tweaks
Vick Gunvalson and Shannon Beador went under the knife.
Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County chronicled each of the two women’s cosmetic surgery procedures.
Vicki went with a lower face and neck life, which was scheduled to last five hours. Yes, that’s a long time to go under the knife.
There was an especially scary moment at the top of the hour when Vicki was asked if she wanted to be resuscitated if her surgery went south.
“‘I do want to be resuscitated. I’ve got a lot of things to do this week,” she said with a grin in response.
You can always rely on the OG of the OC to throw in some comic relief to an otherwise serious scene.
The nurse went on to admit that the drugs could pose some side effects, and Vicki was not done making fun of it.
“It makes your hoo-ha buzz?” she quipped.
“Because I’ve had so many surgeries, I kinda sorta know what the hoo-ha buzz is.”
If you wanted to know what procedures Vicki had in the past, then she was all too happy to dish the goodies in a confessional.
She had work done on her chin, nose, tummy, eyes, and her breasts. We’re inclined to believe she already knew all about the side effects.
As for Shannon, she opted for an eye procedure because she wanted to look the best as she continued her return to the dating game.
Vicki woke up shortly after her procedure and continued to have some of the wittiest responses ever.
“Am I pretty? Do I look like Vicki?” she questioned.
“Yeah you look like Vicki wrapped up in a towel,” Steve told her.
“And ten years younger,” yelled a nurse.
Steve then took the love of his life to the Monarch Beach Resort because she wanted to recover in luxury, but she was cautious that anyone laid eyes on her.
As for Shannon, she made her way home after the surgery and was visited by Kelly Dodd and Gina Kirshenheiter when she got home.
Things took an awkward turn when Gina started talking about the Jamaica trip, admitting that there was “a lot of talk about your mental health.”
Gina continued to talk about it, even going as far as throwing Tamra under the bus for talking smack about her supposed friend.
Shannon seemed happy to know what was being said but admitted in a confessional that her recovery was no the time or the place to open up about it.
In true Real Housewives fashion, it didn’t take long for Tamra to get wind of what was being said.
“I would like to hear your side before I lose my s***,” said Tamra to Gina as she sharpened her blade.
We are obviously kidding about the blade part, but Tamra was pissed.
“I said your best friends are concerned for you,” Gina countered, before saying that she wanted to make Shannon aware that she was being spoken about.
“I didn’t expect this from Gina at all, she is New York Gina with her loyalty, and you are going to throw me under the bus? Oh no,” said Tamra.
But Gina was adamant she was not trying to cause drama, and swiftly realized that the issue here was Shannon.
Shannon apparently took what Gina said and made it into something it wasn’t.
While Tamra was furious with her friends, she got a little bit of good news in her home life.
Eddie was still struggling with his heart defect but found out he was going to be treated for it.
He was tired of not being able to do what he wanted but vowed to be back to doing normal things as soon as possible.
“Like b**ing your wife?” laughed Tamra.

Pamela Gidley Dies, Twin Peaks Star Was 52
Pamela Gidley, a veteran actress best known for her role in the Twin Peaks prequel Fire Walk With Me, died at her New Hampshire home in April 16.
She was 52 years old.
Gidley’s passing was announced Sunday in an obituary, which is why the news has only just gone viral now, about two weeks after she left us.
The newspaper article notes that Gidley “died peacefully in her home, on Monday, April 16, 2018 in Seabrook.”
The cause of death was not immediately made clear.
Gidley started her career in 1986, starring in Thrashin’ alongside Josh Brolin and Robert Rusler.
The former actor took to Instagram to mourn the actress yesterday, writing online;
“My co-star in Thrashin and my girlfriend twice in a lifetime. Amazing and innocent memories of her: a spitfire, and a truly funny person she was. I remember is being in bed (I was 17) and hearing the radio come on saying that the Challenger had just exploded
“These milestones in your life: amazing people to grace us with their spirit, their presence. She will have forever affected mine.
“Thank you for the gift of you, Pam. Rest In Peace beautiful girl.”
In addition to Fire Walk With Me and Thrashin’, Gidley also starred in Angel Street – both the series and the television movie.
Some folks out there might recognize her from Highway to Hell, Strange Luck and The Pretender.
Her last role was playing Teresa Banks once again in Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces, released in 2014.
On TV, meanwhile, Gidley made guest-starring appearances in such shows as MacGyver, The Pretender, Tour of Duty, CSI and The Closer.
Per her obituary:
Besides her mother, Phyllis M. Gidley of Hampton, Gidley is survived by her brothers, Glenn Gidley of Salem, N.H., Daniel Gidley and his wife Darlene of Hampton, and Brian Gidley of Haverhill, Mass., nephews and nieces, Adam, Keegan, Erica and Alexis Gidley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or NH SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
The family says all funeral arrangements will be kept private.

Twin Sisters Known for OCD Battle Found Dead From Apparent Suicide Pact
Twins Sara Eldritch and Amanda Eldritch didn"t just make headlines for their battle with an extreme manifestation of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
The two, who battled OCD from childhood well into adulthood, underwent a groundbreaking procedure that, at least for a time, eased their symptoms and allowed them to lead normal lives.
Tragically, the women have both been found dead. Police suspect that they may have had a suicide pact.
The Canon City Daily Record reports that the Eldritch twins were found dead with gunshot wounds.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says that Sara and Amanda were found in a car which was parked at a rest area Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, which is in Canon City.
Sgt. Megan Richards reported that police believe that the sisters may have had a suicide pact.
That is, at the moment, speculation.
What they say with reasonable confidence is that there is no known threat to the community at large.
In the video below, you can see both Sara and Amanda speak about their shared battle with OCD.
Their disorder manifested at a very young age, where even a simple process like putting on their shoes could take a great deal of time because they found, for example, wrinkles in their socks to be unbearable.
Many of us dislike things like that, but for someone with OCD, there is an irresistible compulsion to address what most of us would view as a regrettable source of irritation.
The twins described their OCD as like someone holding a gun to their head and forcing them to go through a task or ritual.
By their twenties, their OCD symptoms had worsened, and they would find themselves taking 10-hour showers, scrubbing their skin raw.
You can also see how their lives improved after they underwent a groundbreaking procedure.
Electrodes were placed within their brains, connected to batteries stored within their chests. Which, yes, sounds like a child"s idea of what surgery might be, but we"re not making it up.
The procedure, normally used for Parkinson"s, allowed them to manage their anxieties.
They came to feel as if their younger, OCD-ridden selves were almost different people. In some ways, they were.
The twins were able to go on and get jobs and function in everyday life. For a time, at least.
It"s heartbreaking to think that they died just a few years later.
Though a number of treatments for OCD exist and work to varying degrees, there is no "magic pill" for these compulsions.
In fact, OCD is not really well understood.
There is evidence for a genetic component to OCD. Both anecdotally and statistically, the odds of having OCD are higher if a relative has it.
In other cases, OCD can arise from traumatic situations such as abuse.
There are even controversial theories that there is an autoimmune element at play in OCD.
Their mother must be feeling so devastated.
Some wonder if the procedure that had given the twins so much freedom back in 2015 had tragically stopped working.
If so, that would compound the sadness. Especially if they chose to die rather than return to how their lives once were.
But, at the moment, so much of this is just speculation.
Hopefully, investigators will uncover a concrete, verifiable explanation for how this tragedy came to pass.
In the mean time, let"s look at the twins when they were happily explaining how their lives had improved.

Kate Middleton: Is She Pregnant With Twin Girls?!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third child.
But could the Duchess of Cambridge be expecting a fourth child, as well?
That’s the rumor floating around social media today thanks to a new report from Life & Style magazine.
The tabloid claims that Kate is pregnant with twins, and sonograms have revealed that she’s expecting two girls.
A source says Will and Kate “couldn’t be happier about their double-baby news” and have already begun picking out names.
“She’s been telling pals that she’s thrilled to be pregnant with two little princesses and has been proudly showing the sonogram to those closest to her.”
Yes, insiders claim a pair of princesses will be entering the world in 2018.
But don’t expect any of that cutesy name nonsense:
“They don’t plan to coordinate the girls’ names to rhyme or start with the same letter,” says the source.
“Though they’re still debating the final choices, they’ve narrowed down names for the second baby, the source said: “They both like Victoria, Alice, Olivia, Alexandra, and Elizabeth.”
“One of the babies was calm and relaxed, whereas the other had endless energy,” the source adds.
“In a way, Kate feels like she got an idea of what the girls’ personalities are like! Kate jokes that the active baby is a ‘drama queen in the making.’”
The insider claims that the twins have already begun to express their different personalities:
“Kate says the chill baby is taking after George, and her sister is like Charlotte, personality-wise,” the source continued.
“But both babies have been keeping Kate awake at night, as they’re constantly hiccupping and moving around!”
We don’t know why Will and Kate are bothering with all these traditional names when obviously they should dub the twins Chill Child and Princess Anxiety.
Jeez, it’s like we have to think of everything for these royals!
The source adds that the whole family has been helping out around the palace as Kate prepares to welcome the new arrivals, including Meghan Markle who will marry Prince Harry in May:
“Meghan [Markle] has been by Kate’s side during the pregnancy and is always helping out,” the source reveals.
“Meghan often cooks healthy meals for Kate to ensure she’s getting all the right nutrients. She adores George and Charlotte and looks after them if Kate wants to take a nap.”
Yes, if the source is reliable, a royal wedding and two royal babies are on the horizon.
If this were a reality show, we’d say they’re overdoing it!

Hillary Scott Welcomes Twin Daughters!
A couple of years ago, Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott opened up about her miscarriage, confessing that she had struggled to move forward after such a tragic loss.
Last year, she revealed wonderful news — she’s pregnant again! With twins, no less.
Now, Hillary Scott has given birth, and she’s taken to social media to share the wonderful news with her fans and followers.
No, Lady Antebellum didn’t take home yet another Grammy Award on Sunday.
But that’s probably just fine for HIllary Scott, and not just because she already has three.
No, Hillary Scott gave birth in the wee hours of Monday morning.
She shared this joyous news with fans, who’ve known for a while that she and her husband, Chris Tyrell, are expecting their second and third children. She’s been using the #waitingonthetwins tag for a while on Instagram.
While she hasn’t yet posted a photo of her twin daughters, she announced the birth with a photo:
In the captions, Hillary wrote:
“Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls.”
That’s great news!
“They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018.”
Awwww!
“And we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come.”
No photos yet and still no names, but it sounds like they have plans to share those details soon.
Hillary Scott also writes:
“Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies. #twins”
It’s always a relief to give birth to healthy babies, particularly when there are potential complications. (Twins come with twice the birthing risks, folks; some people had twins they never got to meet).
For Hillary Scott and Chris Tyler, however, the relief must have been magnified.
Because a few years ago, Hillary suffered a miscarriage.
“This is something that is not talked about very often,” Hillary Scott said at the time.
It’s true that there’s an awkward culture of silence around miscarriages. It may be that people just don’t know what to say.
One minute, a couple is happily preparing for their family to be larger. The next … they aren’t.
“I also feel that there’s this pressure that you’re supposed to be able to snap your fingers and continue to walk through life like it never happened.”
Of course. Recovery is complicated, and everyone recovers from grief and loss at their own pace.
In 2013, Hillary Scott gave birth to her first child.
The couple’s daughter, Eisele Kaye, is currently 4-and-a-half years old (those halves count when you’re that young!).
Though she was probably too young to really wrap her head around her mother’s miscarriage (though, sometimes, people don’t give children enough credit), she’ll be 5 this year, and is certainly old enough to be excited about being a big sister.
Congratulations to Hillary and Chris and Eisele and to their two beautiful new additions to the household.

Jeremy Lindholm, Twin Peaks Actor, Arrested for Attempted Murder
Jeremy Lindholm, a veteran movie and television actor who most recently appeared on an episode of Twin Peaks, was arrested on Thursday on charges of attempted second degree murder.
He is accused of trying to kill his girlfriend.
According to a press release from the Spokane, Washington Police Department, authorities responded to a call from a local business around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday evening regarding an alleged assault.
The person on the other end of the line said that an individual (later identified as Lindholm) was violently assaulting a woman with a baseball bat.
When cops arrived at the scene, Lindholm was spotted trying to run out the back of the establishment… with the bat still in his hand.
He “quickly gave up” when officers confronted him in the alley, per the release, and was then taken into custody.
Surveillance footage of the incident from inside the unnamed business captures what the official statement describes as an “extremely violent assault perpetrated by Lindholm.”
TMZ writes that the victim’s life was believed to have been in danger, based on statements from witnesses and based on the aforementioned footage.
The video apparently depicts Lindholm striking his girlfriend on the head and body with the bat, over a dozen times.
He’s also seen choking her and allegedly saying he wants to kill her.
“There was information suggesting the intent of [Lindholm] was to kill the victim,” according to the release.
Officers proceeded to book the 41-year old actor into Spokane County Jail on multiple charges:
Attempted murder second degree, second degree assault and several others, including assault of the victim’s friend.
He is being held on $ 100,000 bond.
The victim received serious, yet non life-threatening injuries, and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Lindholm appeared in just one scene of the Twin Peaks revival on Showtime this summer. His other credits include Memoir of a Cannibal, Game of Cards and The Absent.
“MAM represents Jeremy Lindholm. We have worked with him on bookings for television, film, and commercial projects. We are stunned at the news of his arrest,” Lindholm’s talent agent, Anne Lillian Mitchell, said in a statement to People Magazine.
She concluded:
“Our interaction with him has always been consistently professional. We will monitor the trial. Our thoughts are with all involved and their families.”

Vienna Girardi Suffers Miscarriage of Twin Daughters
Vienna Girardi has made a heartbreaking announcement.
The former Bachelor suitor – who earned a proposal on Season 14 from Jake Pavelka, but split from the reality star several months later – revealed on Facebook that she has suffered a miscarriage.
Girardi had been pregnant with twins and was 18 weeks along when the tragedy hit.
She broke this exciting news to fans back in early June.
“On Aug 3rd, I went in for an ultra sound bc the Perinatologist notice one of my twins had more fluids than the other which was the first sign of TTTS(Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome) this is when one twin takes more nutrients than the other,” Girardi explained, adding:
“They said that it did look like it had improved over the last week though.”
She proceeded to go into more sad detail about what happened:
“Unfortunately, that was not the case and that evening my water broke due to the amniotic sacs rupturing. I spent the next 2 days in the hospital trying everything to save them.”
Girardi wrote that physicians told her she would have to deliver the children or risk losing her own life – at just 18 weeks, though, the twins had “a very slim chance under 5%” that they would survive.
“So as any mother would do I did everything to save them but their hearts stopped beating on day two which is also when I went into septic shock with 104 fever,” she tragically continued.
“My little angels went to Heaven on Aug 5th and I was rushed into the OR for emergency surgery and was in the ICU for 4 days.”
We truly cannot imagine what this must have been like for Girardi.
We cannot imagine what she is going through right now.
Girardi lives in Orlando and is engaged to Todd Allen.
After lying in bed for days and mourning her loved ones, she made the brave choice to donate the twins to science in the hopes that scientists will one day learn more about TTTS.
“This was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life but I knew my little girls were in Heaven already and the pain I feel I would never want any mother to ever feel.”
She concluded as follows:
“I don’t know why this happened and I pray the Lord gives me strength to understand why he needed my little girls,” she concluded.
“RIP My Sweet Angels. Your mommy will never forget you and I loved you both with my entire heart.”
Girardi’s rep Richard Harlow told People Magazine that his client hosted a gender reveal party just four days before the tragedy took place.
She nearly died.
“Her heart is heavy,” Harlow says.
“Having cried with her, I can honestly say this is one of the worst things I’ve experienced with my close friend and client of 7 years.
“It’s a devastating experience. She wants everyone to know how much she loved her little babies.”
