Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Celebrate July 4, Manage to Avoid Assaulting Each Other

When it comes to the relationship between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, we just… give up.
You can go ahead and try to figure these two out; we’re just gonna sit back and eat some hot dogs on this special birthday.
Indeed, the Jersey Shore cast member and his on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again girlfriend apparently put their differences aside on Wednesday in order to celebrate America.
Ortiz-Magro shared a photo on Instagram Stories this morning of himself and Harley snuggled close, flag-themed hearts floating around the duo as she made a kissy face at the camera.
“Happy independence day,” over the image.
How cute, right?
How sweet, no?
How romantic, yes?
Sure, we guess.
But that would only be true if you ignored the fact that Harley was arrested mere days ago for DRAGGING RONNIE BY A CAR in Las Vegas.
The couple had reportedly got into an argument on the way home from a barbecue and, as Ronnie tried to unbuckle his seatbelt and exit the vehicle, Harley allegedly sped away, dragging her boyfriend down the street.
She was taken into custody by local authorities, but will not be charged with any crime.
It’s important to note two things while we relay that news:
1. Harley and Ronnie are the new parents to a baby girl named Ariana; she was born on April 3. (And she was in the car at the time of the above incident.)
2. This above incident was certainly NOT the first time Ronnie and Jen got into it in a very serious manner.
In late April, Jen and Ronnie went back and forth in very ugly fashion on social media.
She accused him of cheating. He accused her of holding on to old sex tapes of herself and an ex.
Harley slammed Ronnie as a “cokehead” and deadbeat dad. Ronnie blasted Harley as a “cum dumpster.”
It was a vicious and as X-rated as nearly any viral argument we can remember — and you can relive the madness below:
There’s also a video online of Ronnie verbally attacking Harley and seemingly coming close to physical blows.
It’s troubling and scary and disturbing and you can judge it for yourself here:
Ronnie and Jen have tried to maintain a healthy relationship amidst all this craziness, mostly for the sake of their newborn.
“I remain focused on my daughter and she is my No. 1 priority,” Ronnie told us Weekly a little while back, for example.
Last we heard, however, friends were encouraging Ronnie to stay away from Harley and to even file for primary custody of Ariana.
It doesn’t look like he’s taken this advice, however, based on the first photo posted above.
We’re afraid, though.
There’s plenty of July Fourth to go and we have a feeling that if these two are together… and the alcohol is flowing… that things may get explosive between them tonight.
And not because they’ll be watching fireworks.

Heather Locklear Arrested for Assaulting Police Officer
We often try to keep things light here at The Hollywood Gossip.
But we don’t even have a joke to make about the following story.
We have no snarky comments at all.
We just sincerely hope Heather Locklear finds the professional help she so clearly needs.
The veteran actress was arrested on Sunday night after a family member called 911 from Locklear’s home because Locklear was allegedly drunk and beligerant.
According to TMZ, the former Melrose Place, Dynasty and Spin City star then punched a responding police officer who was trying to separate her from an unnamed relative.
Paramedics evnetually arrived as well — and, while being placed on a gurney, Locklear is accusing of kicking an EMT.
The incidents took place just before midnight and Locklear was prompted booked for two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel.
Authorities confirm that the star was taken to a hospital near her residence get checked out and then was taken to jail, where she was booked.
She’s being held on $ 20,000 bail.
This would obviously be a disturbing story based on the facts listed above alone.
But the alleged attacks took place less than one week after Locklear was hospitalized after another drunken assault, this time one against her parents.
Reports at that time indicated that the actress choked her mother and hit her father.
She also threatened to find a gun and kill herself, which is why she was placed under psychiatric evaluation.
And even that was not some kind of isolated encounter/run-in with the law.
The sadly troubled actress previously pleaded not guilty to four counts of battery on an officer and one count of resisting arrest in April, following her February arrest in which she apparently told officers:
“If you ever come back to my house I will shoot you.”
This arrest caused Locklear to check into a rehabilitation, with sources close to her saying that she was “spiraling out of control.”
Said former Melrose Place co-star Josie Bissett to Entertainment Tonight in the wake of last weekend’s suicide threat:
“[It’s] just sad. You know, it’s just heartbreaking. We just pray for her and hope she gets through this time.”
And Jack Wagner, who also appeared on this Fox soap opera opposite Locklear and also dated her for a number of years, added in this same interview:
“I just will stand by what I have said for a while and that is that we all have our struggles.
“We all do and some of us handle them in different ways.
“We either really work at getting well, you know, and it’s just about when you make that decision to do it…
“I love Heather and I know Josie feels the same way, so nothing but loving thoughts and prayers for her and her family and her daughter, Ava.”
We echo this sentiment.

Tommy Lee Accuses Own Son of Assaulting Him
Tommy Lee says his heart is broken.
By a woman breaking up with him?
No, by his very own son physically assaulting him, according to the veteran musician.
Multiple outlets have confirmed that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded on Monday to an incident at Lee’s home in Calabasas, California.
It’s the nature of this incident, and/or what prompted this incident, that is currently up for debate
Lee alleges that 21-year old son Brandon, whose mother is Pamela Anderson, simply attacked him while the rocker was in bed with his girlfriend.
Along these lines, Lee Tweeted a photo (below) of his bloody lip last night, prior to deleting both the picture and the affiliated caption.
But this is the Internet, where nothing can ever truly be deleted, and we can report that the caption read as follows:
My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon. Great son!
No arrest has been made, but authorities have stated that Brandon is a person of interest in their ongoing investigation.
TMZ, meanwhile, writes that Brandon has been living part-time with his father in order to help Tommy Lee overcome a dependence on alcohol.
Insiders tell the typically-reliable celebrity gossip site that Brandon and his dad got into an intense argument Monday evening due to Lee attacking Anderson for discussing their volatile relationship in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Wrote Lee in response to this sit-down:
“@piersmorgan ur interviews w/ Donald Trump & my ex-wife are pathetic! Think she’d find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old shit but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention.”
Lee then signed this Tweet as follows:
“The abuser” (who she texts everyday & asks for me back).”
These same TMZ sources claim Tommy was drunk when he lunged at Brandon (who was sober) and that the 21-year old punched his dad in self-defense.
As you might expect, however, Lee denies this allegation.
“My fiance and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me,” he Tweeted in response, adding:
“I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT’S the truth.”
He also called out TMZ for “reporting bullshit” in this case.
Lee and Anderson starred in a very famous sex tape together, but their relationship has since its MANY shares of ups and downs.
They are also parents to 20-year-old Dylan Jagger.

David Eason Accused of Assaulting Jenelle Evans, May Lose Custody of Son
Last month, David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after unleashing a homophobic tirade on social media.
Even those who were addicted to the drama of the Easons volatile marriage applauded MTV for the move.
And now it seems that the fallout from David’s abhorrent behavior is only just beginning.
According to Radar Online, David’s baby mama Olivia Leedham has launched a custody battle against her ex with the goal of obtaining sole custody of her son, Kaden.
Leedham was awarded sole physical custody of Kaden back in 2014, but she recently agreed to grant visitation rights to David, believing that her troubled ex had turned his life around since marrying Jenelle.
“Defendant and Ms. Evans appeared to be stable in both their own lives and in their relationship,” court documents filed by Leedham stated.
She added that Eason and Evans “appeared to be more focused on their children,” and “the ’drama’ that surrounded their early relationship appears to have subsided and they appear to be happy and to have a happy home.”
Leedham quickly regretted that decision, however, and last week she petitioned the court to once again have Eason stripped of all parental rights.
“[David] is exhibiting erratic and concerning behavior,” Leedham asserts in her latest filing.
She goes on to accuse Kaden’s father of “potential substance abuse issues” and creating “marital strife” with Jenelle.
Leedham also cites Eason’s “recent firing from his employment” as a cause of increased instability in his life.
In the most shocking portion of the filing, Leedham contends that Eason and Evans’ relationship is an unhealthy and often violent one, which makes for an unsafe living situation for children:
“The Defendant is exhibiting erratic and concerning behavior and his life appears to have again deteriorated into chaos,” Leedham’s attorneys write.
Obviously, custody battles are nothing new for Jenelle, but it seems unlikely that she’ll be able to help her husband with his latest legal conflict.
Not only is she still fighting to maintain custody of her two children from previous relationships, she’s being painted as one of David’s many victims in the filing:
“Despite knowing that he is being filmed for a nationally televised reality show [David] has regularly been seen arguing with Ms. Evans on the show,” Olivia writes.
“[David] has allegedly become increasingly controlling of Ms. Evans and has alienated her from her family.”
Obviously, the claim that David is manipulating Jenelle will serve to undermine any statement that she makes in her husband’s defense.
Not that Jenelle tends to not have a whole lot of credibility with judges anyway.
From the sound of it, Leedham will have little trouble convincing a judge that the Easons have failed to provide a safe and stable environment for her son.
And thanks to David’s time on the show, she’ll have many hours of evidence to present to the court.
