Chloe Bennet is the star of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and an incredibly talented, stunningly beautiful actress. She’s also a good person.
Logan Paul is a consummate YouTube star in the worst ways. Some were fortunate enough to have never heard of him before his video mocking Japanese suicide victims went viral at the beginning of the year.
For a while, they’ve been rumored to have been dating. And it is with heavy hearts that we confirm that this is true.
On Wednesday, one concerned fan’s question was able to confirm a mildly disturbing rumor.
“Hey @chloebennet,” a fan asked on Twitter. “I’m seeing rumors you are dating l*gan p*ul? just wondering why you would do that”
Note that this was the fan’s censorship of Logan Paul’s name, not ours (though that censorship can be a smart move on social media).
Celebrities don’t always respond to questions about dating rumors, even when they’re true. But Chloe did reply.
“‘Cause he’s kind, creative, funny, vibrantly curious about life, weird as f–k in all the best ways, a big dork, and he’s one of my best friends,” Chloe replied.
“It doesn’t make sense to a lot of people,” Chloe admitted in the same tweet. “But it doesn’t have to. He’s changed my life for the better and I’ve done the same for him.”
Some may be wondering why someone would censor Logan’s name in a tweet or why people would ask why any self-respecting person, particularly a woman of Asian descent, would date him.
The Twitter user who asked the question in the first place explained in a pair of follow-up tweets.
“I should have included the context within which I was inquiring: considering his past anti-Asian racisms,” the tweet reads. “I ‘censored’ his name so that I wouldn’t have to deal with his stans (so its non-searchable) eating my ass bc I don’t actually like them.”
That same Twitter user also responded to the answer that she received, writing:
“I appreciate that @chloebennet took the time to respond with her side of the story,” she tweeted. “I don’t like him any more than I did before, but this is her life and her choice — that’s the end of it.”
That is a very healthy point of view.
In case the revelation on Twitter wasn’t enough,
TMZ‘s cameras caught Chloe and Logan out and about in Beverly Hills, where they confirmed their relationship with a high five.
After what has apparently been some time of secrecy, they’re finally dating out in the open.
This might be alarming for a lot of Chloe’s fans, but … even though she’s a public figure, how much of this is their business?
Is Logan Paul a human garbage fire? Yes.
Over a month after the widespread controversy over his video in Japan’s infamous “suicide forest,” he filmed himself tasering a dead animal for some reason.
His behavior was so bad that YouTube once again suspended his ads.
Remember, folks, YouTube is a site whose algorithms often lead impressionable teens to Nazi recruitment videos. If you’re not meeting their content standards, you’re either really bad … or showed some forbidden nipples.
But that does not mean that Chloe Bennet does not get to make her own decisions.
We’re inclined to say that the Twitter user who asked her has the right idea when they write “this is her life and her choice — that is the end of it.”
Besides, who among us hasn’t dated or hooked up with a hottie with a terrible personality and struggled to justify our decision to friends?
You don’t have to like Logan Paul to support Chloe’s right to follow her own path.
And Chloe absolutely should not be held accountable for her boyfriend’s bad behavior.
Also, despite my frustration, this reminds me that I really should catch up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Chloe Dykstra Speaks Out After Chris Hardwick Denies Allegations
Last week, Chris Hardwick was accused of emotional abuse and sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra. She didn’t name him, but readers were easily able to connect the dots.
Hardwick strongly denied the horrifying accusations, which included claims of intensely controlling behavior, of using her sexually, of sickening emotional manipulation, and of working to end her career after their breakup.
Now that a week has passed, Chloe is opening up about what the powerful responses to her story meant to her.
“It’s been an intense couple of days,” Chloe writes on Instagram. “I have a few final words to say before moving forward. The link is in my bio. Sending love to all.”
That link leads to Twitter, where Chloe prefaces her lengthy and heartfelt words.
“Thank you all,” she tweets. “From the bottom of my heart.”
This is when her actual message begins.
“Thank you all so, so much, Chloe writes. “The outpouring of support and love I’ve received over the past few days has been incredible and unexpected.”
Unexpected because so many women who accuse famous, popular men of misdeeds end up villified, harassed, threatened, and even doxxed by angry fans.
“The people who have come forward with both stories validating mine,” Chloe writes, she sends her thanks.
Many on social media responded by saying that they had been through an experience similar to the one that she described.
In addition to the validation, Chloe appreciates the people who sent “stories of their own personal experiences.”
That, she reveals, had a powerfully positive impact on her.
Chloe writes that those personal accounts “have helped me immensely with my own healing process.”
It can be powerfully therapeutic to realize that you are truly not alone in your experiences.
“After years of therapy and rebuilding,” Chloe writes. “Your support has done so much more for me than all of it combined.”
That makes sense, though we hope that her therapist doesn’t take it personally.
She is referring to a widespread phenomenon in which those who have been abused — whether it’s emotional abuse or brutal violence — second-guess their own experiences and almost try to convince themselves that what they describe wasn’t half bad.
Part of that is society’s pressures for survivors to keep silent. Part of that is the mind games that abusers play with their victims. Part of that is just human survival instincts run amok, basically.
“This whole experience has opened my eyes to so much,” Chloe’s post continues.
Chloe says that she has learned a lot, “and my heart goes out to those trapped in unhealthy or abusive relationships.”
She has sympathies for those “who haven’t found the strength to leave” these toxic situations.
That might sound victim-blamey, but it takes a tremendous amount of strength to break through the fog of manipulation and threats in which many abusers trap their victims.
Chloe also acknowledges “those suffering in the workplace due to abuses of power or unfair treatment.”
Not everyone can simply leave, and she knows that.
If you have a four-year-old child at home and you’re their only provider, you might grin and bear it as you get harassed or groped at work because you don’t feel like you have other options.
Her heart goes out to all of those people, “and especially to those that don’t feel their voice can be heard the way mine has.”
Chloe Dykstra has fans and followers, despite the alleged efforts to ruin her career after her breakup.
“It is my hope, and it always was,” Chloe writes. “That women and men on both sides of abuse will make changes to either protect themselves, or to stop the cycle of pain their own behavior can cause.”
Honestly, stop being awful is a very modest request of abusers.
“These behaviors are insidious and often hard to spot,” Chloe warns. “We make excuses for them and, bit by bit, we can lose ourselves entirely.”
“Despite recent events,” Chloe continues. “I hope that everyone personally affected by my story can to find their own closure.”
Closure can be a key part of recovery. It’s not always possible, but it’s helpful.
She suggests that they might do so “through the support of loved ones and friends, the way I have.”
Note that she doesn’t specifically identify family. She is probably very well aware that, for many people, family is the source of this nightmare, not the haven from it. That is so sad.
Chloe adds that “in addition, my heart goes out to those caught in the fallout.”
Sometimes, when you call out something bad that someone did, you lose friends or make things uncomfortable with others.
Some people lose half of their family when they flee their abuser.
Chloe feels that, even though doing so was absolutely terrifying, coming forward with her accusations was a huge weight off of her shoulders.
“Having been able to lift from my shoulders that which was weighing me down,” Chloe writes. “I’m ready to move forwards in my life, finally.”
That is so beautiful.
And moving forward is precisely what she intends to do “instead of looking back with fear and sadness.”

Chris Hardwick Accused of Sexual Assault By Actress Chloe Dykstra
You might know Chris Hardwick from the Walking Dead after-show, Talking Dead, or as host of the now-canceled Comedy Central series @Midnight, or simply as an ever-present figure in the corner of the media landscape most closely associated with “nerd culture.”
But Hardwick is trending on Twitter today not because of his work, but because of shocking allegations of abuse from a former girlfriend.
The popular host and creator of Nerdist Industries dated actress Chloe Dykstra for three years, and today, she published a Medium article detailing abuse she suffered at the hands of a man that many believe to be Hardwick.
Dykstra never mentions Hardwick by name, but details about the nature of their relationship and his career make it clear who she’s accusing.
The 29-year-old says that several years ago she began a relationship with a man who was nearly 20 years her senior, and who
“I was expected to be [sexually] ready for him when he came home from work. Every night, I laid there for him, occasionally in tears,” she writes.
“He thought the whole idea was funny. To be fair, I did go along with it out of fear of losing him.”
Dykstra goes on to claim that the abuse began just weeks into her relationship with Hardwick and left indelible scars on her psyche.
“I’m still recovering from being sexually used (not in a super fun way) for three years,” she says.
Dykstra claims that Hardwick manipulated and intimidated her in such way as to ensure she would continue to comply with his sexual demands.
“’I just want to remind you, the reason my last relationship didn’t work out was because of the lack of sex,’” she recalls him saying.
Dykstra says that even with the progress yielded by the #MeToo movement in recent months, she still expects to be interrogated and harassed on social media.
And sadly, if GamerGate and other recent examples of toxic nerd culture run amok are any indication, she’s not wrong in that assumption:
“It will probably hurt me now too, despite the #MeToo movement. We’ve come a long way, but we still have a ways to go,” Dykstra writes.
Earlier today, Dykstra tweeted a message of gratitude for those who offered support online, writing:
“I quietly posted an article today, unlisted on Medium. It clearly made the rounds. I’m overwhelmed and I want to thank all of you for your support and kind words- they mean so much to me.”
Hardwick married Lydia Hearst in 2016.
He has yet to respond to Dykstra’s allegations.

Chloe Green and Jeremy Meeks Welcome First Child!
The Hot Felon has welcomed a precious baby.
On Thursday, Jeremy Meeks and Chloe Green confirmed via Instagram that they are now the very excited and very proud parents of a very young son.
Without revealing the newborn’s face, Green and Meeks both shared a photo of their fingers being grasped by his tiny hands, along with a caption that reads as follows:
“We are pleased to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy Jayden Meeks-Green.
“Born May 29th 2018. Mommy and Baby both doing well. We kindly ask to respect our privacy please. Much love Chloe & Jeremy.”
Note the sort of unusual move of giving their kid a hyphenated last name.

Green and Meeks got together about a year ago, as they were spotted kissing on yacht in June of 2017.
This was notable because Meeks was married at the time to Melissa Meeks, with whom he shares another son.
The model, who earned the nicknake Hot Felon due to a mugshot that went viral in 2014, filed for legal separation from his wife in July and later filed for divorce in October.
“Better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie,” wrote Melissa shortly after Meeks ended their marriage.
Green, meanwhile, is very rich.
She’s the heiress to the Topshop fortune, hence the yacht on which she was spotted playing tonsil hockey with Meeks.
To many observes, of course, this seems like a classic case of some random dude getting surprisingly famous, leaving his basic wife and jumping into bed with a young, wealthy hottie.
But an insider tells Us Weekly that Meeks and Green are more than just a fling.
They didn’t just make an unprotected sex mistake and are now stuck raising a kid together.
There are actual feelings involved, people! Allegedly!
“Chloe and Jeremy are very much in love and she thinks they will get engaged at some point,” claims a source to the aforementioned tabloid.
The 27-year old heiress and 34-year old ex-convict spent most of last summer traveling around the world together.
They announced their impending child in March, amidst a sea of PDA-laden photos on social media.
These two certainly have not been shy in publicizing their romance, even if some question the way in which it began.
For example: In February, Green shared a photo collage of the couple in honor of the Meeks turning 34, writing as a caption along with it:

Jeremy Meeks and Chloe Green Are Expecting a Baby
In 2014, Jeremy Meeks reached viral fame as the Hot Mugshot Guy after police posted his photo after he was arrested. When he got out of prison, he had a modeling job lined up.
Which is how he came to be photographed on a boat, cheating on his wife with Topshop heiress Chloe Green.
That was no idle fling, however. And now, Jeremy and Chloe are expecting their first child together.
This is going to be one beautiful baby!
Us Weekly reports that Chloe Green is pregnant with Jeremy Meeks’ baby, which they announce was confirmed to them by multiple sources.
Even though we don’t yet have an official statement from the Topshop heiress or from the virally famous hot felon, this is exciting news for the couple and for their fans.
Yes, they do have fans.
Many see Jeremy Meeks as a shining example that a seemingly random opportunity can arise and allow someone to transform their entire life. He went from a life of crime to becoming an international model because of one famous photo.
Chloe Green is an heiress, but we suppose that she’s a reminder that you can land the man of your dreams if you’re extraordinarily wealthy and happen to run across him when he’s separated from his wife by an ocean.
So, about Jeremy Meeks’ wife.
Melissa Meeks is pissed that her husband allegedly cheated on her while overseas. He had to travel for work, of course.
Looking at it from her perspective, she waited for him for a few years while he was locked away in prison, only to have him stray almost as soon as he had the opportunity.
To make matters worse, it was Jeremy who filed separation papers … and listed their date of separation as before his relationship with Chloe Green began.
That would undercut accusations of cheating.
And then, last October, he filed for divorce from the mother of his child. Well, from the mother of Jeremy Meeks, Jr. And Junior is about to get a paternal half-brother.
Since they were first spotted on that boat together in 2017, Jeremy and Chloe haven’t exactly been shy about their romance.
In fact, the Topshop heiress has been happy to show off her beautiful new beau as the couple has traveled all over.
They kiss in restaurants. They kiss on Instagram. Sometimes they kiss while wearing very little clothing.
That’s what you do when you’re living your best life and happy to share your romance with the world.
Ultimately, we don’t know how much support Melissa Meeks is getting or will ultimately be receiving from Jeremy.
A judge is likely to look at the woman who waited for her husband while he was in prison with sympathy.
That said, the fact that she was apparently able to support herself and her children while he was locked away may hurt her when it comes to final rulings on divorce.
At the same time, Jeremy is definitely the higher earner at the moment, since he’s working as an international model.
The whole reason that he took the modeling gig in the first place was because the money was too good to pass up.
But Jeremy’s been happy to post photos of himself with his son on Instagram, so whatever the alimony ruling may come down to, we certainly hope that Jeremy Meeks, Jr. will get all of the support that he needs and deserves.
Reactions from fans to this pregnancy news are mixed so far, in part because the couple hasn’t officially announced it.
Some are still shaming Jeremy Meeks for having cheated on his wife.
Others are disparaging Chloe Green for being “conned” by a hot con, since they believe that Jeremy is only interested in her for her family’s wealth.
Reactions are likely to grow more vocal — but perhaps more positive — when these two finally confirm the good news.
