Khloe Kardashian Claims She "Doesn"t See Color," Gets Schooled by Twitter
While Khloe shows off cute photos of baby True, some vile and racist trolls have criticized the literal baby for being “too dark.”
It’s both colorist and racist, and Khloe has been clapping back.
But after Khloe announced that she “doesn’t see color,” her followers began to school her on why she should never say that.
Khloe took a break from reading comments after racist trolls targeted True, but now she’s calling out cowardly trolls.
“I dislike the fact that people are allowed to comment on my daughter’s skin color,” Khloe begins.
She laments: “but as soon as I comment kindly back and praise her for all that she is, the comment gets erased.”
Khloe is happy to engage with racist trolls, but is noticing that they’re a cowardly lot.
“If you have the courage to post your nasty criticism,” Khloe says. “Please allow one to defend or comment back.”
“it takes time for us to understand and to be that calm and compassionate,” Khloe continued in subsequent tweets.
“We all, as humans needs to grow and evolve,” Khloe writes. “Life lessons teach us that. I’m proud of us”
Khloe continues: “We need to learn to praise all skin tones/ethnicities! Our beauty is in our differences.”
Obviously, this is all good — and not the part for which she’s gotten into trouble.
“We can learn so much! So proud of every human who is confident in who they are,” Khloe says. “I’m in my 30s I think I’m just finding this confidence.”
“Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I’m not complaining about that,” Khloe affirms. “Please state your opinion but allow me to State mine.”
For the record, if she just wants to counter someone’s mean tweet, she could post her opinion with a screencap of their mean tweet.
“I try to put myself in their shoes,” Khloe shares. “And maybe they were brought up in a different type of household then I was.”
(Perhaps in an overtly racist household rather than one that clearly fetishized black men, which is a less hostile form of racism)
“So instead of shaming I try to educate,” Khloe concludes. “In our household we do not see color. We see emotion and action. We see love. We feed off of energy.”
One fan corrected her, tweeting: “It’s not criticism it’s racism.”
“Saying she doesn’t see color is wrong,” tweeted another. “And now she’s going to help educate? When has she ever struggled in her life???”
“It just bothers me!” confessed another. “If you raise your daughter to not see color then that kid will grow up thinking it’s not important to march for civil rights because everyone is equal.
That tweeter continued their explanation: “Only white privileged actually believes that!”
It would be nice if we all lived in a truly equal society. Unfortunately, we know that this is not the case.
“The Kardashians obviously see colour hence the black men they date/marry,” another pointed out.
That tweet continues: “Khloe has no idea how racist that comment is because she’s not educated to know that not seeing colour means she’s disregarding or denying racism on POC.
The tweet concludes: “which her daughter is currently experiencing.”
“You should definitely see color, Khloe. It is beautiful,” another writes.
“It is what defines how we perceive and experience, especially for people of color,” that same tweeter explains.
“And considering your daughter is brown, you shouldn’t teach her to be blind to that,” that person adds. “The world won’t be blind to it, and neither should she.”
Of course, while some were pleading with Khloe to understand why she was wrong so say this, others had … other thoughts.
“No one should fall for this,” insisted a conspiracy theorist.
“This is a Kardashian PR sympathy stunt,” the tweet claims. “No one has said anything about True’s skin color other than paid Kardashian bots.”
We would love to believe that this is true, but it is not. Racism and colorism are all too real.
“This is a distraction from Tristan,” the tweet theorizes. “Shame on Khloé for using her baby as a shield for her cheating boyfriend.”
While some people used the opportunity to dunk on Khloe, most of these comments have a real point.
To explain this a little more directly … “we do not see color” promotes a harmful idea.
First of all, it ignores that different people experience the world in different ways.
Children of color, and particularly black children, have to be prepared for how the world will treat them.
That needs to be acknowledged.
Even a child of extraordinary privilege can face racism that their white parent did not. Khloe needs to know this.
Second of all, “I don’t see color” implies that there might be something wrong with certain skin colors.
“I don’t see color” implies that you don’t see someone’s flaw. Skin color is, obviously, never a flaw.
You love someone for who they are, not in spite of it or because you overlook who they are.
Words matter, folks.
And Khloe isn’t just a celebrity — she’s now the mother of a biracial daughter.
Her words matter more than ever.

Facebook Explodes in Debate: What Color are These Shoes?!?
It"s been about two and a half years since the Internet was split in two over the color of a dress.
Was this clothing item white and gold or black and blue?
Friends turned on friends and family members turned on family members as a result of the debate. It got ugly.
Have we learned anything from that back-and-forth? Can we settle the next color-related fashion question more peacefully?

The controversy started after a Facebook user named Nicole Coulthard shared a photo of this shoe to the group Girlsmouth. “Ok girls so my friend has just sent me this asking what colour the shoe is,” she wrote. “I would say pale pink and white, but she insists its pale blue and grey. What do you girls see? Please tell me pink and white!”

In response, the friend’s mom told her that blue suited her.’ She texted back saying they are pink, but when she looked at the pic she saw blue too. She sent it to me and I was convinced they are pink, we had a big argument as she said I only said pink because I knew she had bought pink shoes so that’s why I decided to put it up on girlsmouth.”

Ariel Winter Changes Hair Color, Remains Curvy
There are two big reasons why Ariel Winter has 2 million Instagram followers.
Obviously, we’re talking about her hair and her photographic talents.
So the Modern Family actress took a big risk when she decided to ditch the vibrant red locks she’s been sporting in recent weeks in favor of her natural hair color.
Ariel posted the photo above last night, along with a caption reading, “Back to black.”
Winter recently wrapped filming on Dog Years, in which she co-stars with Burt Reynolds, and the ginger locks may have been for her role.
The pic has led many to the conclusion that Ariel is preparing to get back to work on the sitcom that made her famous.
She’ll be attending UCLA in the fall, but plans to reprise her role as Alex Dunphy for an eighth season of MF.
The show is officially turning into one of those insanely long-running network behemoths that will litter the desolate wasteland of late night basic cable in syndication for centuries to come.
Archeologists of future millennia will study shards of clay pottery and reruns of Modern Family to piece together what life was like before the great ape uprising.
Anyway, back to Ariel’s hair.
Her selfie has only been up for 18 hours and it’s already racked up 133,000 likes.
Many are from Family fans who are excited the show is filming again.
And some of them are just enthusiastic about Ariel’s giant boobs.

Kylie Jenner Just Named a Lip Kit Color After WHOM?

Kylie Jenner has come out with a new shade of lip kit color!!!!!!!!!
Following the success of the teenage’s original trio of Kylie Lip Kit colors – Dolce K, Candy K and True Brown K – Kylie began naming additional shades after people near and dear to her heart.
So… who is the latest family member to receive the honor? Kourtney Kardashian.
Kourt K is one of the most vibrant, saturated pigments in the lip line thus far due to its bright purple hue.
Kylie unveiled the latest including in her kit via the above Instagram picture, which included the caption “my little babies.
Her and its namesake have appeared in plenty Instagram photos together as well, of course. To wit:
Shortly after Jenner went public with this new shade, the Kylie Cosmetics page shared the same image with the captions “Welcome to the family Kourt K!” and “we are so excited for this shade!”
Previously, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress named a color after her grandmother, MJ.
Mary Jo K debuted as part of her second batch of kits, along with “Posie K” around Valentine’s Day.
The full Kylie Jenner lip line, which launched in November 2015, now consists of eight different colors and retails for $ 29.
We have no idea why anyone would ever purchase it.

Kylie Jenner: I DESTROYED My Hair With Bleach! So Here"s a New Color!
When you’re rich like Kylie Jenner and your primary job is Snapchatting all day, you have the opportunity to experiment with your hair a lot.
In fact, the reality star changes her hair about as often as most folks change their underwear, and apparently, it’s become super damaged. (The hair, not the underwear. We hope.)
Kylizzle talked all about her frizzle on Snapchat.
“The top of my hair is kind of destroyed from the bleach so I’m really, like, self conscious about it,” she admitted.
Over the past couple years, we’ve seen the natural brunette rocking a rainbow of hair colors, including blond, pink, green, teal and baby blue.
While some of those looks may have been achieved with the help of a wig, dying your hair with unconventional colors requires copious bleach – which is going to fry the hell out of it.
The Snapchat queen removed her extensions and proceeded to interrogate all her friends about their thoughts on her natural hair before finally asking bae Tyga, who replied, “It looks fine.”
(Thankfully, Tyga refrained from creepily hand-feeding her noodles in this vid.)
Nevertheless, damage be damned, Kylie threw those extensions back in and debuted long, navy blue hair yesterday.
At the rate Kylie’s going, she’d better hope the skinhead look comes into fashion right quick, because she may not have any hair left by the end of the year.
Frankly, we really like Kylie’s natural look.

Ariel Winter & Sarah Hyland Debut NEW Hair Color on Instagram!
Ariel Winter just debuted a brand new look on Instagram: she’s a redhead!
The former brunette shared a photo and a video showing off her new fiery tresses.
“I’m now a strawberry!” she wrote in the caption. Although, to be precise, she used a strawberry emoji.
It’s shocking what a simple hair change can do – the 18-year-old actress looks nearly unrecognizable (yet still gorgeous) in the new pic.
We can’t help but wonder if the new look will be incorporated into the Modern Family storyline, but a bold move like this is not one we’d expect from her character, the smart yet nerdy Alex Dunphy.
Winter’s hair transformation comes on the heels of a color update recently made by one of her co-stars.
Sarah Hyland, who plays Winter’s older sister on the sitcom, showed off a new, markedly darker hairstyle just two days ago.
Hyland traded in her brond (that’s a hybrid of blond and brunette, FYI), ombre locks for a raven hue.
“Hello from the darker side,” she wrote in the caption (channeling her inner Adele, we assume).
We don’t know if the color changes were coordinated or just a coincidence, but we have to say they’re both pulling it off marvelously.

Kylie Jenner Debuts New Lip Kit Color!!!!!!!!!!!
Kylie Jenner may or may not marry Tyga at some point in the near future.
But she has definitely come out with a new shade for her lip kit!!!!!
In a revealing new Instagram photo, the 18-year old is showing off some serious cleavage, along with a taut stomach, while donning a bright red bikini.
The color of her lipstick matches this piece of swimwear, prompting Kylie to write as a caption:
“Could this be a new lip kit color?”
She included a winking face emoji with the message, so we’re pretty sure it could be indeed.
In case it wasn’t clear, however, Jenner followed up this steamy snapshpt with a video in which she’s still rocking these same cherry lips, yet is wearing a red latex dress instead of the two-piece above.
Her simple caption? “@lipkitbykylie.”
Shortly after these teases went viral, the Lip Kit by Kylie Instagram page re-grammed the post and added the hashtag “#comingsoon.”
So there you have it, folks.
Kylie came out with her lip kit at the end of last year.
It has gone on to be very popular for some reason, although Kylie has been accused of ripping off her customers.
