Sarah Palin: EVIL Sacha Baron Cohen Duped Me Into an Interview!

Sacha Baron Cohen is the man behind Borat and therefore the man responsible for the catchphrases of all of your most annoying friends over the past decade.

This time, he staged a satirical interview with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Palin, who’s been in enough disastrous interviews to recognize them, caught on, and unleashed a scathing attack on Cohen’s “evil” humor.

“Yup – we were duped,” Palin’s post begins. “Ya’ got me, Sacha. Feel better now?”

Sarah announces: “I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick ‘humor’ of the British ‘comedian’ Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime.”

Wait, she’s really going with evil for this? This isn’t just a matter of people in glass houses — most people wouldn’t say that a fake interview deserves that label.

“This ‘legit opportunity’ to honor American Vets and contribute to a ‘legit Showtime historical documentary’ was requested of me via a speakers bureau,” Palin says.

Some would suggest that, had the offer been truly legitimate, no one would have asked Sarah Palin to make an appearance.

“For my interview,” Palin explains. “My daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all.”

Cohen’s taste has always been questionable, as we’ll explain.

“Out of respect for what I was led to believe would be a thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform,” Palin continues.

“I sat through a long “interview” full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm,” Palin says.

We don’t know what a Hollywoodism is supposed to mean in this context, but we imagine that whatever fans she still has will love the term.

“But finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out,” Palin describes. “Much to Cohen’s chagrin.”

Palin writes: “The disrespect of our US military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse.”

“Here is my challenge, shallow Sacha boy,” Palin suggests. “Go ahead – air the footage. Experience tells us it will be heavily edited, not pretty, and intended to humiliate.”

His whole schtick is seeing what people will say and how they will react, so, yeah, of course it’s intended to humiliate.

“The challenge is to Cohen, CBS, and Showtime,” Palin says. “Donate all proceeds to a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets.”

We’re not sure how one gauges proceeds from a Showtime series.

“Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night,” Palin allows.

Interesting that Sarah Palin considers either herself or her daughter to be innocent public personalities.

“But HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country?!” Palin asks.

She then says that this was: “Truly sick.”

“And as an aside,” Palin notes. “For further insight into the wealthy corporate enablers of this kind of ‘joke."”

“The Cohen/CBS/Showtime production team purposefully dropped my daughter and me off at the wrong Washington, DC airport after the fake interview,” Palin claims. “Knowing we’d miss all flights back home to Alaska.”

That’s quite the accusation — of downright maliciousness.

“After refusing to take our calls to help get us out of the bind they’d put us in for three days,” Palin describes. “I wrote this off as yet another example of the sick nature that is media-slash-entertainment today.”

Palin has been frustrated with media and entertainment ever since they asked her questions about government policies in interviews while she was McCain’s running mate.

“Feel good and manly about your M.O., Sacha?” Palin asks.

In Palin’s world, of course, demonstrating masculinity is prized, so she assumes that Sacha Baron Cohen is preoccupied with a desire to feel manly.

“By the way, my daughter thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha.” Palin says.

Her daughter, Bristol, thinks a lot of things about a lot of people. She also blogs about it.

“Every honorable American Vet should feel the same.”

Note that by saying every honorable American vet, she brings the No True Scottsman paradox into play.

So the inevitable I’m a vet and I’m thrilled that she got played responses can be countered with ah, then you’re not an honorable one.

Sarah Palin is no one’s favorite person, but Sacha Baron Cohen can be controversial himself.

The arguments to defend him are that he does what he does to elicit genuine responses from people, to see what they will say with the right prompting.

But his work often relies upon shock value, the perpetuation of horrific racist stereotypes, and crude jokes.

That said, whatever you think of either of them, there’s one thing about which we can all agree:

Sarah Palin just gave Cohen’s work, which includes a series of interviews with some very famous politicians on both sides of the aisle, better publicity than anyone could have imagined.

We don’t normally advocate doing nice things for Sarah Palin, but perhaps Showtime should send her a fruit basket.

Demi Lovato Opens Up About "Addiction Hell" In New Interview

Earlier this week, fans were shocked to learn that Demi Lovato had relapsed after six years of sobriety.

To her credit, over the years, Lovato has not attempted to conceal her struggles with addiction, instead allowing her story to serve as a cautionary tale for young fans.

And she’s been just as open about her most recent battle with the bottle.

Demi’s new song, “Sober,” is a surprisingly confessional ballad detailing her lapse back into addiction.

Sadly, Lovato’s relapse was not a one-time event but has instead proven to be a source of ongoing difficulty.

Sources say Demi is still drinking, and has been for more than two months.

But it seems she feels that it’s important for her fans to see her at her lowest depths, as Radar Online is reporting today that Lovato is planning to grant a candid TV interview to Hoda Kotb of Today.

Demi was reportedly reluctant about stepping back into the spotlight in her current state.

She had a change of heart, one insider claims, because of three important factors:

1. Her loyalty to her fan base and her desire to be completely straightforward with the millions who have stood by her through thick and thin.

2. Her belief that honesty is the first step to sobriety.

3. Her faith in longtime friend Kotb.

“They have a history together,” the source says of Demi’s relationship with Hoda.

“Demi is ready to share what led to the relapse and what she is doing now to stay sober,” the insider adds.

“She has always been very open and honest with her fans about her struggles, so it’s only natural that she would do this.”

There’s no word yet on when the interview will take place or when it will air, but the insider says Demi is hoping to sit down with Hoda as soon as possible.

In “Sober,” Demi croons the heartbreaking line:

“I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore.”

She lays her soul bare in the song, but the lyrics offer no details about the how, why, and when of Demi’s relapse.

Now, it seems she finally fill in those blanks for the sake of her very worried fans.

Johnny Depp Opens Up About Drugs, Debt, Divorce In Bonkers Interview

What"s the trouble with Johnny Depp?

It"s a question that fans and former fans have been asking for the past two years.

It"s also the intriguing title of a new Rolling Stone piece that purports to offer some answers.

Journalist David Rodrick spent three days — well, nights, as Depp keeps vampire hours — hanging out with the increasingly controversial actor, and it seems there was no topic that wasn"t up for discussion.

Depp"s massive debt and recent legal battles, his ugly divorce from Amber Heard, and his prodigious appetite for inebriants were all addressed in a wide-ranging conversation that helped to shed some light on Depp"s demons.

Is this Johnny showing the world his vulnerable side?

Or have we all just been taken in by a man who"s made a very nice living off his ability to manipulate the emotions of others by transforming himself?

Decide for yourself with this list of the most bonkers revelations from Johnny"s most candid interview to date.

1. One Mean Mom

Johnny depp red carpet image

“My mom was maybe the meanest human being I have ever met in my life,” Depp tells Rodrick at one point, adding that his mother often struck her and hurled objects at them.

2. A Traumatic Childhood

“There were irrational beatings,” says Depp. “Maybe it’s an ashtray coming your way. Maybe you’re gonna get clunked with the phone.”

3. A Complex Relationship

“She could be a real bitch on wheels,” Depp says of his mother, before noting that his first major purchase after gaining fame was a house for the woman who raised him.

4. An Attempt to Deflect?

Many have interpreted Depp’s comments about his enduring love of his mother despite the abuse she inflicted as an effort to deflect allegations that he was abusive to his former wife, Amber Heard.

5. "Slim" to "Scum"

Depp signed a non-disclosure agreement that prohibits him from talking about Heard — but Rodrick notes that a tattoo on Johnny’s hand that used to feature Heard’s nickname, Slim, has been altered to read, “Scum.”

6. Speaking of Abused Women…

Depp goes on to comment on the #MeToo movement and the accusations against “goliath Shrek thing” Harvey Weinstein. He’s no fan of Harvey, but his remarks aren’t exactly in perfect alignment with contemporary feminism, either.

Cardi B UNLOADS on Donald Trump in Shocking Interview

It’s pretty clear at this point that Cardi B doesn’t entirely understand how the government works.

Remember this Instagram video of the rapper going off on Uncle Sam in regard to the use of her tax dollars?

But while Cardi B may be confused when it comes to the Federal Reserve, she is very clear and straightforward when it comes to the person sitting in the Oval Office.

“Every artist has explained how harmful he is,” the artist says in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, referring, of course, to Donald Trump and then adding in more detail:

“He has made divisions in this country – he almost made a crazy civil war between the blacks and the whites. He has proven himself to be a madman so many times, and proven himself to be disrespectful to women, and that still hasn’t gotten him impeached.

“Clinton got impeached for cheating on his wife, and it’s so clear that this nigga has sex with so many porn stars, and he’s just been shown to be a dickhead, and it’s like, ‘Nope.’”

Well… okay then!

Tell us how you really feel, Cardi B.

This isn’t the first time the superstar has made vocal her unfiltered opinion on the President; she previously called him “soo disgusting” for calling Nigeria a “sh-thole.”

Cardi B, of course, is as outspoken as it gets in Hollywood.

She admitted in April that she considered aborting her impending child and she even described the position in which Offset knocked her up.

The rapper also went in a number of directions in this magazine feature, another of which was political.

Where does she stand on the topic of gun control?

“God forbid, the government tries to take us over, and we can’t defend ourselves because we don’t have no weapons,” she said, elaborating on this strange point:

“How do you think American colonizers went to Africa and it was so easy for them to get those people? Because they had guns. No matter what weapon you have, you can’t beat a gun.

“They have weapons like nuclear bombs that we don’t have. So imagine us not having any weapons at all.”

(Just a quick note here: IF the government somehow ever decided to take over the lives of its citizens, the guns legally available at the moment won’t exactly do a gosh darn thing.)

But forget Trump and guns for a second.

Let’s have a little more fun, shall we?

Sort of like what Cardi B wants to do at a certain party in the near future.

“I want a lit baby shower,” Cardi told the publication.

“My baby shower’s not starting at no 5:00. My shit is going to start at 9 p.m. because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate.

“I don’t like baby showers that be at 5 p.m. in the backyard, eating, cooking hors d’oeuvres. Nah. Shit, I might even drink some red wine. Red wine’s healthy, right?”

Not when you are pregnant, no.

Offset – to whom Cardi may or may not be engaged, but with whom she is definitely having a kid – already has three children from three previous relationships … but Cardi DGAF about that, people.

“People want to make fun of me, saying I’m the fourth baby mom,” she says here. “[But] I know I’m not having a baby with a shitty-ass man.”

The singer has confessed in the past that this pregnancy wasn’t planned and that she had her doubts at first.

“A lot of successful women have kids, and a lot of successful artists have kids, but not at the peak of their career,” she said of her own thought process.

Hence the abortion consideration.

But she’s moved past that hesitation and is now excited to embrace motherhood.

Cardi B told Rolling Stone that she wants to have her daughter with her everywhere she goes after giving birth.

“Only time I don’t have my baby with me is when I’m getting my hair done, makeup done, performing,” she explained.

“I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter.”

Seriously, we can’t wait to see Cardi B as a parent.

It’s gonna be… lit.

Casey Anthony"s Mom Storms Off Set During Interview

Casey Anthony is almost universally reviled. Despite her acquittal, most people continue to believe that she murdered her young daughter, Caylee.

Her parents, George and Cindy, are tired of being viewed only as the parents of a monster. So they sat down for an interview with A&E.

Their discussion unfortunately become heated, and Cindy Anthony ultimately stormed off in anger.

George says that Casey and Caylee were there when he got home from work, but not every night.

“Most times, but a few times she wasn’t.”

He says that there were a few days at a time when his daughter and granddaughter would be missing when he arrived.

“Because that was a night she was supposedly going to spend a night with the nanny or one of her friends”

We all remember Casey’s fictitious nanny — the one named Zanny.

Zanny did not exist.

Cindy had misgivings about doing the interview from the start, and she becomes very obviously defensive a the suggestion that she did not know her granddaughter’s whereabouts.

Cindy speaks up.

“George, as far as Caylee goes, I knew when that child was not here.”

George agrees, but says:

“About six months before we saw a couple different times where she’d be gone for a couple of days.”

Cindy says that it wasn’t often, however.

“Casey and Caylee did not stay out for two or three days, I know that for a fact. Caylee was always here.”

Interviewer Elizabeth Vargas asks: “So Caylee never spent the night somewhere else?”

Cindy admits:

“Maybe one or two times, cause I wouldn’t go to bed unless I knew Caylee was tucked in.”

George tries to assure Cindy, from whom he had been in the process of getting a divorce when the couple learned that Casey was pregnant, that he’s not trying to antagonize her.

“Listen I don’t want to get upset with you, I don’t want to upset anyone anymore but I just now what I witnessed…”

This, however, is when another contentious issue comes up — one thankfully less upsetting than the murder of their granddaughter.

See, once upon a time, money went missing from Cindy’s purse. George was blamed.

George says that Casey is the one who stole the cash, which is something that everyone but Cindy has no problem accepting.

George also confesses that, at one point, Cindy allegedly stole money from Caylee’s savings account.

Cindy says:

“But George, Casey learned by example.”

This is when she storms off of the set. She blames him for Casey’s dishonest behavior.

“There was different things that I got the blame for,” George acknowledges at one point.

Cindy insists, however:

“No, but I’m telling you, you lied to me for several years.”

And she believes that there is a direct, causal link to Casey.

“And that’s where our daughter got it.”

He does not disagree, but Cindy goes on to try to give an unusual characterization of Casey.

“Casey was just a very spirited child. She had a lot of energy, she was just the light of our lives.”

Cindy continues, speaking of Casey’s youth, before she was one of America’s most hated people.

“She made people smile. Casey was very popular. She had tons of friends and lots of little boyfriends.”

We think that what Cindy is doing here is two things.

One, she is still having trouble grappling witht he knowledge that her daughter is a monster.

Two, she seems to be afraid that her granddaughter’s death was somehow her fault and wants to blame it on her husband.

Some people think that monstrous adults were monstrous children, but this is rarely the case.

We wish George and Cindy peace. They lost their granddaughter to an unthinkable act of evil.
