Justin Bieber won his first-ever Grammy Award on Monday night, earning the trophy for his song “Where Are Ü Now” in the category for Best Dance Recording alongside Skrillex and Diplo.
But this wasn"t even the artist"s most impressive achievement on the evening.
Bieber also took to the stage in Los Angeles to perform an acoustic version of the track "Love Yourself," earning rave reviews for all in attendance and all watching at home.
Justin was previously nominated in 2011 for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist, losing the latter Esperanza Spalding and finding himself at the center of an online uproar soon afterward.
There was no such controversy this time around, however.
Just many rounds of applause for Bieber after his performance.
"Beliebers.. We did it! I love you. Now get ready for the show. Not done yet. #GRAMMYs," Bieber Tweeted after learning he had won his first Grammy.
