Bridezilla"s Bizarre Demands Go Viral: Don"t Talk to Me and Don"t You DARE Wear Makeup!

A reddit user by the name of Laika_cat posted a redacted screencap of a truly ridiculous email.

In the email, which was allegedly written by a wedding coordinator, guests are givena  list of demands.

A few of them are totally normal — don"t wear white, please let us know if you"re bringing a plus one. That"s all fine and not what has everyone so bewildered.

No, the bride is demanding that anyone invited bring a gift of sufficient value if they want to be admitted.

And she"s also laying down the law about what guests can do, from social media activity to what they drink to how they can do their hair and makeup.

Technically, the email is purportedly from the wedding coordinator, but a number of clues make people believe that the bride wrote it herself.

Take a look at what true absurdity looks like and ask yourself if you would even bother attending.

1. It starts off normally enough

Bridezilla list of demands 01

Like we said, it is widely doubted that the wedding coordinator came up with this list — or even wrote it.

2. This question is reasonable

Bridezilla list of demands 02

This matters for seating layouts and for food preparation. But this question comes before the list.

3. Oh boy, here we go

Bridezilla list of demands 03

Asking people to show up early is fine. And avoiding white or anything close is considered polite.

4. This is where it gets controlling

Bridezilla list of demands 04

Now this person is telling people how to wear their own hair and how to do their makeup? It sounds like the bride is terrified of being outshone.

5. She doesn’t just want to control your looks, but your behavior

Bridezilla list of demands 05

That … is not how you spell ceremony. And while including a tag for an event is standard, the demand that people not check in on social media is weird.

6. This is our favorite one

Bridezilla list of demands 06

What does this mean? Do not speak to the bride? This is like a list of demands for a major prima donna actress … except she’s making them of people who are presumably family and friends. Who DOESN’T want to talk to their friends?

Bridezillas Exclusive: Did Ruby Just Create Groomzilla?!?

Bridezillas has only been back on the air for a month, and we think it"s fair to say the drama has been off the charts.

The new season has had a bride kicking a kid"s bicycle, a bride walking down the street with curlers in her hair yelling into her phone, and a bride throwing her wedding cake to the ground.

It"s hard to believe that things are only going to get crazier as this hit WeTV series continues and we have an exclusive clip to prove it.

Ruby and Joe form one of two couples who will be appearing on Friday"s episode, and there"s a big issue as the wedding day kicks off:

Joe has not had his haircut, and Ruby is freaking the hell out about it.

During scenes that all but confirm the best drama is cooked up from reality TV, Ruby takes drastic action to try and get her man to change his mind and have his hair cut.

"I get married at 6 pm, and my stress level is really close to a ten," Ruby says while waving a tiara as the clip begins.

"Right now, I"m really worried about Joe"s f—–g hair. I will make it look so horrible that he has to get his haircut."

On the surface, it may seem like an empty threat, but Ruby legit struts into the bedroom and shaves a chunk of Joe"s hair off as he sleeps.

Talk about a rude awakening.

"Are you f—–g kidding me?" Joe yells as he realizes that his hair is all over his pillow.

From that point, things take a comical turn (serious for Joe!) when Ruby says that an appointment has been made for Joe to have his hair fixed.

"She f—–g shaved my damn side of my head. I don"t even know if it"s fixable. Like, she went too far," Joe says to the audience as a sad-faced emoji appears on the screen.

"I"m like this close," he says, before confirming that him "not showing up" at the wedding is actually a possibility.

Oh yes, this is going to be a fun episode!

Bridezillas: The Trashiest Wedding Show is Back and Better Than Ever!

Do you remember Bridezillas?

If you were a fan of trashy reality shows about ten years ago, there"s no way you don"t remember Bridezillas.

But just in case you were never fortunate enough to witness this gem of a television program, Bridezillas was a show that aired on WEtv from 2004 to 2013.

Each episode featured a couple of women preparing for their wedding days in the most dramatic way possible. They threw fits over everything and anything, and it was just an absolute joy to watch.

Remember the bride who lost her mind on her poor fiancé and her family members when they were just trying to help her? Remember how she screamed and cried and made herself look like an unbelievable brat?

Trick question: that kind of thing happened with literally all of the brides.

As we said, Bridezillas stopped airing in 2013 for reasons we still don"t understand. It was there, and then suddenly it was not, and it was a tough loss to handle.

But we don"t have to be sad anymore, because in what has to be the best news we"ve heard in a long, long time, Bridezillas is returning to WEtv for its 11th season!

In March!!!

And just in case you think it"s too good to be true, fear not, because the trailer for the new season is proof that we"re about to be blessed with more reality trash than we know what to do with.

The trailer begins with a woman all decked out in her bridal gear, screaming "It"s my wedding day!", and we"re off to a very, very good start.

We see a bride kicking a kid"s bicycle, a bride looking furious in a surgical mask, a bride walking down the street with her hair in curlers screaming about other brides.

It feels like coming home, honestly.

Let"s see, one woman throws her wedding cake to the ground, one cocks a shotgun in her dress, one has a breakdown over a veil.

There are two different fights at two different weddings — physical ones between some male guests — and a grandma tells a bride that she should have gotten a boob job so her dress would fit better.

We don"t know what we did to deserve this kind of magic, but we"ll certainly take it.

Bridezillas is Actually Coming Back to Television

The sounds of wedding bells are about to be heard on WE tv once again.

And so are the sounds of women in very expensive dresses screaming at loved ones and crying their spoiled eyes out.

Indeed, in the latest sign of both the Apocalypse and of television being totally out of ideas, the network has announced that it is bringing back Bridezillas!

“From the beginning, Bridezillas was nothing short of [a] pop culture phenomenon and a brand-defining show for WE tv,” said Network President Marc Juris, adding in his statement:

“Years after saying goodbye to our last Bridezilla, we have been asked consistently to bring this show back by viewers and fans.

“With its built-in fan base and continued cultural relevance, the Bridezillas franchise is a strategic growth asset that we can leverage across our business and we are thrilled to be bringing it back to WE tv.”

Bridezillas is basically summed up by its one-word title.

Each episode tells the story of a woman who is desperately trying to plan her dream wedding, overcoming such difficult obstacles along the way as thin friends, unhelpful parents and grooms who simply don’t get it.

The reality series ran for 10 seasons and 185 episodes before saying goodbye in 2013.

It spawned the spinoff Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas, which then gave way to Marriage Boot Camp without the Bridezillas.

This is merely the latest reality program to be revived by a network.

In the spring of 2018, for example, ABC will bring back American Idol.

Previously, MTV rebooted Fear Factor (with Ludacris as host), while Match Game, Celebrity Family Feud, $ 100,000 Pyramid and Battle of the Network Stars are all back on the air after decades away.

But none can match the absurd drama that Bridezillas delivered during its peak.

Remember the woman who enforced a weight minimum for her bridesmaids because she had to be the skinniest person in her party?

If you somehow forgot, don’t worry. We’re about to give you nightmares once again…

And then there was the mother who tried to convince her daughter than there ought to be clowns at her wedding.

That’s not a joke or a euphemism or some kind of exaggeration.

This parent was saying that maybe clowns should perform at the reception:

Will you tune in for the return of Bridezillas, which will consist of 10 episodes and air later this year or early next year?

This is a safe space. It’s okay. We won’t tell anyone.

You can go ahead and admit it if so.
