Bill Murray or Tom Hanks? Internet Debates Identity of Mystery Celeb
At first glance, Bill Murray and Tom Hanks may not seem to have a lot in common.
Sure they’re both living film legends, but one is best known as the master of comedic snark, the other as Hollywood’s go-to leading man for Oscar-bait prestige dramas.
But on further inspection, Hanks and Murray are more alike than you might initially think:
Both men got their starts in TV comedies.
Both received numerous major award nominations over the course of their iconic careers (though appallingly, Murray remains Oscar-less).
And both would no doubt rank highly in a poll of which celeb Americans would choose as their adoptive dad.
Now it seems we have another item to add to the list of common bonds between our two most beloved screen icons.
Hanks and Murray are apparently indistinguishable from one another when they’re making a crying baby face:
As you can see, that’s a photo of Bill Murray holding a baby on a golf course in Scotland.
…Or is it Tom Hanks holding a baby on a on a golf course in Scotland?!
Okay, we won’t put you through this.
It’s definitely Murray, but for a glorious few hours this week, the pic was the subject of intense debate reminiscent of the time that no one could make up their mind about the color of that damn dress.
Laura DiMichelle-Ross, the woman who took the photo and the mother of the crying kid, has confirmed that it is indeed Murray in the pic.
(Really, the golf course should’ve been a dead giveaway.)
Naturally, there are some folks who claim that it’s all a ruse and still insist that it’s actually a photo of Hanks.
But that’s simply a result of the fact that at some point over the course over the past year, bridge trolls who feed on fear and confusion became the majority of Internet users.
After they’ve filled your head with Hanks-based conspiracy theories, we’re sure they’ll tell you all about how the election is rigged.
Of course, we hate to play the hipster card and point out that were were into something before it was cool, but we did post this pic way back in 2013, when it first showed up online.
Just sayin’.
Anyway, as this contentious election season draws to a close, it’s time to forget about whom was ahead of what trend, and instead focus on that which unites us:
For instance, we can all agree that both Bill Murray and Tom Hanks are incredible, and it would be an honor to have either one make fun of your crying child.
Also, David S. Pumpkins is pretty amusing, but the joke will get old right around the time the fourth grown-ass man in a jack-o-lantern suit shows up to your Halloween party.

The View Debates: Should We Commend Kim Kardashian?!?
A few days ago, Kim Kardashian covered GQ without a layer of clothing covering her body.
And while the topic if Kim Kardashian nude photos is not exactly a fresh one, the ladies on The View still went ahead and debated it this week.
Is there anything immoral about a mother of two putting her bare body on display on such a frequent basis?
Should we hate on Kim because she"s so famous, despite having nothing to offer the world except for shots of herself in her birthday suit?
No, we should not, not according to Raven-Symone.
"What are y"all expecting her to do? Y"all want her to go play an instrument at the Carnegie Hall?" the panelists asked her co-hosts.
She continued to defend Kim in the only way in which one can defend Kim Kardashian:
She knows exactly what she is and she takes advantage of society in order to milk that for all it is worth.
"Her talent is her sex," Raven-Symone cotinued. "Her talent is the fact that she always looks bomb. Her talent is getting that money off of ancillary products, not acting or singing."
It is true. We should at least be grateful that Kim mostly stays in her lane.
Raven-Symone also gave credit to the star because she said it isn"t "easy to be beautiful" all the time, which may have been pushing it.
No one should shed a single tear or play a single violin note for what Kim Kardashian puts herself through on a daily basis.
Who deemed Kris Jenner "brilliant" as part of this discussion?
How hilarious is it to watch the women try to act all casual because this was a special "After The View" segment in which they ate and drank?

The View Debates: Kanye Versus Taylor!
You know what they say:
A story is not truly a story until it is discussed on The View.
Okay, we may be the first website to ever actually say that.
But the women of this annoying talk show still sat around on Tuesday morning and took sides in the Kanye West versus Taylor Swift beef.
Late last week, of course, Kanye rekindled a feud that we thought died many years ago, rapping about how he made Swift famous.
Swift didn"t personally respond to this attack… until she won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Monday evening and gave a speech in which she warned young women about those out there who will try to "undercut" their success.
She might as well have been holding up a middle finger at Kanye, basically.
There really isn’t much to debate here, considering how well Taylor handled West’s random attack – but Michelle Collins still tried to argue that it"s actually an "honor" to be referenced by Kanye in a song.
Fortunately, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg both shot her down pretty quickly.
How did Raven-Symone try to claim that the death of Kanye"s mother is actually to blame for the artist"s many outbursts?
Watch below to find out and try to decide if you agree with this panelist:
