Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler Make Like The Notebook, Share Sweet Embrace
Based on the latest photo shared on Instagram by Christina Aguilera, the singer clearly believes she has enjoyed a storybook romance with fiance Matt Rutler.
Literally.
The artist posted the above picture on her social media account this week, including with it a series of fun and romantic emojis, such as two hands clapping and two hearts circling around each other.
Is Aguilera just randomly jumping in the arms of her man?
Maybe.
Or might Aguilera and Rutler be recreating one of the most famous movie scenes in history, one based on a book written by Nicholas Sparks?
Aguilera is a woman, after all.
So that automatically means she’s a fan of The Notebook.
There also appears to be a twinge of Dirty Dancing thrown in here for good measure. No one puts Xtina in the corner, people!
Aguilera and Rutler got engaged over Valentine’s Day in 2014 and welcomed daughter Summer Rain that August; they are yet to schedule a wedding date.
Prior to this sweet picture, the singer and her fiancé kicked off 2016 with an Instagrammed cuddle session during a Pittsburgh Steelers football game in the first week of January.
“Wrapped in love & happiness,” The Voice coach wrote as a caption. “Great way to kick off the New Year! Go Steelers!”
The Steelers have advanced to the NFL playoffs, so the year really is starting off well for Aguilera and Rutler.
Christina, of course, is also the mother to a son named Max, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
