According to a bombshell new report, it has finally happened.
Brad Pitt has finally moved on from Angelina Jolie.
Not with Jennifer Aniston, though, no. Can we please put those ridiculous rumors to rest?
Instead, In Touch Weekly alleges that Pitt totally has a thing for 21-year old actress Ella Purnell.
A British native who was born in London, Purnell actually portrayed a young Maleficent in the Disney movie by this same name. And you know who played the older version of Maleficent, right?
Yup: Angelina Jolie!
An insider says Pitt is so smitten with Purnell that he has cast her in his upcoming Star drama, Sweetbitter.
Are the two actually dating, however? Have they boned or done hand stuff or anything of that nature?
It’s unclear. The magazine doesn’t specifically state one way or the other.
“Brad had Ella in mind from the get-go. He went out of his way to cast her,” the source explains, adding that Purnell doesn’t exactly mind the feeling Pitt supposedly has for her.
“Ella is incredibly flattered by all the attention she’s getting from Brad. She’s told friends he’s always been her No. 1 celebrity crush.”
But do you know who does mind? Jolie.
“She’s furious about Brad’s interest in Ella and her being cast in Sweetbitter,” this insider says.
“She absolutely hates that Brad is cavorting with someone who played the teenage version of her in a film.”
Pitt and Jolie are still in the divorce process, but tension has at least cooled off between them of late.
This rumored romance may once again prompt some nasty words to be exchanged between the stars, especially considering the 32-year age difference between Pitt and Purnell.
Heck, she’s only five years old than Pitt’s son, Maddox!
“He realizes the huge age difference, and that everyone would look at the relationship as a midlife crisis mistake,” In Touch writes.
However, Pitt insists this isn’t just some sexual attraction.
He’s supposedly smitten with the rising star due to her “spunky, funny demeanor and formidable acting skills.”
Purnell, meanwhile, played Emma in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and also had a role in the TV movie Cyberbully.
She was born on September 17, 1996.
“It’s only a matter of time before Brad takes their relationship to the next level,” the tabloid concludes.
