Jill Duggar Pregnancy Rumors Heat Up Following Latest Baby Bump Sighting

For months now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Jill Duggar is expecting her second child with husband Derick Dillard.

Several social media commenters have already claimed to have spotted Jill sporting a baby bump in deleted or carefully cropped Instagram photos, so it’s not surprising that those same folks are insisting that Jill’s latest pic offers definitive proof that she’s expecting:

“Happy belated birthday to our sweet Israel!” Jill captioned the pic. “(We did not have wifi on his birthday.)

“We loved having Grandma C here for Israel’s birthday. She even brought Derick’s first birthday candle for Israel to use! See pictures of Israel’s first taste of cake and read our note to Israel on our website.”

Obviously, Jill then provides a link to the Dillard family website, and yes, we checked – there’s no pregnancy announcement.

Frankly, we weren’t all that surprised.

For starters, we’re just not seeing the alleged baby bump in this photo.

But the main reason we’re not surprised that the rumors of Jill being pregnant appear to be bogus is the fact that she and Derick are still doing missionary work (tee-hee) in Central America.

If you’ve been online or even just walked past a giant display of TVs at a department store in the past month, you’re probably aware that women in the region have been advised to avoid getting pregnant for the next two years due to fears about the debilitating Zika virus.

Though Derick joked about Zika in a controversial Instagram post, we’re sure he and Jill are actually taking the threat quite seriously, and we hope they’ll put off having another child at least until they’re back in the US.

At the end of the day, of course, Jill is a Duggar.

It’s possible that there’s nothing that will stop her from procreating.
