It’s been over two weeks since Kylie Jenner welcomed her first child, and it seems her transition into motherhood has been just as tumultuous as we expected.
To be fair, Kylie seems to be focusing on her duties as a first-time mom in admirable fashion.
It’s the world around her that’s rapidly imploding.
Much of the drama has had to do with Kylie’s rocky relationship with Travis Scott.
Despite rumors that Scott dumped Kylie shortly after she gave birth, it currently looks as though the Stormy Webster’s parents are still together.
But that doesn’t mean all is well in their relationship.
You see, when a man starts dating a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, he basically dates the whole family.
For the relationship to work, a guy in Travis’ position needs the approval of Kylie’s sisters, and of course, her mother, Kris Jenner.
Fortunately, for him, Kris isn’t terribly hard to win over.
This is a woman tolerated Scott Disick for over a decade, after all.
Really, as long as the guy is willing to have his life documented by a reality TV crew, Kris considers him potential son-in-law material.
Unfortunately, it seems Travis doesn’t have any interest in the world of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“He won’t tolerate the KUWTK cameras being anywhere near him, and Kylie’s been warned to keep her mom Kris and meddling sisters far away as well,” a source close to the family tells Radar Online.
The insider adds that Kris has made it clear to Travis that she doesn’t approve of his decision.
But apparently the rapper won’t budge on the issue.
We guess that’s the downside of dating a guy who’s already successful in his own right.
He doesn’t need KUWTK fame, and he apparently has no interest in offering up his private life for public consumption.
On the bright side, it seems everything else is going pretty smoothly for Kylie and Travis.
After some turbulent weeks during the end of her pregnancy, it seems the couple has bonded over their shared love for little Stormy.
“Travis was present at the birth and fully intends to honor his responsibilities,” the insider reveals.
“Things are still up in the air in terms of custody and visitation, but Kylie is expecting Travis to pull his weight and contribute to the baby’s upkeep financially, which he’s promised to do.”
So the guy won’t be good for ratings, but he is trying to be a good dad.
We hope Kris can consider that a compromise.
