Stacey Dash Reads Mean Tweets About Herself

Stacey Dash is determined the milk her ongoing 15 Minutes of Fame for all she possibly can.

The Fox News contributor made one of the strangest appearances on television in the medium"s history Sunday night, walking out on stage at the Academy Awards after Chris Rock introduced her as "the new director of our minority outreach program."

Dash, who believes Black History Month ought to be eliminated, proceeded to cackle and tell an audience of millions:

I cannot wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month.

No one really booed. No one really cheered. Everyone just sat there in stunned, confused silence.

Rock was likely playing a joke on Dash, but the former actress is trying to get the last laugh.

She actually went backstage after her appearance and stole Jimmy Kimmel"s idea of having celebrities read Mean Tweets about themselves.

“No one likes you,” Dash reads from her phone in the following video, quoting one critic on Twitter.

"You sucked on the Oscars like you do on Fox News. Pointless," reads another.

Dash doesn"t seem to comprehend that it"s not funny when a truly unpopular star reads a bunch of insults from people who represent the majority opinion.

But, then again, Dash doesn"t seem to comprehend a whole lot in the world.

"I do what I do because I want to do it,” Dash says, adding:

"And because I believe in it. It has nothing to do with race, and I wish you would stop saying that. Everything I do is because I believe in it and I believe we are all equal …  I’m very happy about what I did and I’m proud of it."

Lady Gaga Already Owns 2016. This is Why.

Could THG’s Celebrity of the Year race already be over?

By March?!?

It may very well be possible, considering the incredible two-month start to 2016 that has been enjoyed by Lady Gaga.

The unprecedented run has crossed all industries, too, kicking off in early January with Gaga earning her first-ever Golden Globe Award for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel.

It was then on to the football field in Santa Clara, as Gaga didn’t just belt out the national anthem prior to Super Bowl 50.

She totally and completely owned it:

We may have to go all the way back to 1991 and Whitney Houston to come up with the last Super Bowl rendition of the Star-Spangled banner that was this well received.

We then moved on to the Grammy Awards, where Gaga took nine minutes to pay tribute to David Bowie, dressing up as the late singer and putting on a true show-stopper.

Trust us. This is worth your time:

And that brings up to the Academy Awards.

Gaga sang her nominated track, “Til It Happens To You,” but she did so much more than that.

She sat at the piano. She put true emotion into the single. And she was surrounded by many victims of sexual abuse.

It was powerful stuff. It something we can only really imagine Lady Gaga pulling off.

It’s been a whole two months, remember. And this is what Lady Gaga has already pulled off.

One major awards victory. Three truly epic performances.

She could stop right now and still likely earn our top honor come end of the year.

You better go make another sex tape fast, Kim Kardashian. We don’t know how anyone else will be able to compete.

Kylie Jenner vs. Kylie Minogue: Unexpected Feud Alert!

You might think that aside from their first names, 18-year-old Instagram queen Kylie Jenner and 47-year-old Australian pop star Kylie Minogue have very little in common. And you would be right.

However, it looks like their shared monikers might soon be enough to land the moguls in court.

As you probably know, Kylie has been marketing everything from “lip kits” to waist trainers to hair extensions online.

With an audience of 50 million Instagram followers, many of whom would wear burlap sacks to school if Kylie declared it the in look for spring, it’s not hard to see why everything she touches turns to gold.

Now, however, it looks rapidly-growing multi-media empire has encountered its first speed bump.

According to several sources, Kylie recently filed paperwork to trademark her first name so that she can go the mononym route for marketing purposes, a la Cher or Madonna.

Unfortunately for Ms. Jenner, there’s another famous Kylie, who’s not willing to take a back seat to the teenage sensation.

Kylie Minogue – who just got engaged to Joshua Sasse last week – has filed a legal opposition to KJ’s trademark attempt, and yesterday, the singer even threw some shade on social media, tweeting:

“Hello….. My name is KYLIE #lightyears.”

The tweet is an allusion to Minogue’s 2000 single “Light Years,” but it may also refer to the fact that the elder Kylie has been in the business for about 3 decades longer than Jenner.

It’s not every day that a member of the Kardashian clan gets a lesson in humility, so we’re definitely Team Minogue on this one.
