Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin: Separated Since December!

It sounds like their union was doomed from the start.

Ask anyone who is married or has been married, and they’ll tell you that it’s hard.

It’s even harder when you’re young.  Like, Teen Mom-young.

Kailyn Lowry married Javi Marroquin when she was just twenty, and already had one child from another man.

Now, Lowry and Marroquin are going their separate ways.

“They’ve been unhealthy for a while, and Kail knew divorce was inevitable,” a source close to the Teen Mom 2 couple told Us Weekly.

“There was always a disconnect.”

The end of their relationship has played out on camera, with Lowry suffering a miscarriage and Marroquin being deployed overseas with the Air Force.

Marroquin, 23, has been accused of cheating on Lowry since his deployment, but the source revealed something fans speculated for awhile.

“They’ve been separated since December, so if Javi was with anyone else overseas it wouldn’t really be cheating.”

Why did it end?

“They clashed,” the source added.

“The bottom line is they were two strong personalities who both want to be in control living together.”

Arguments about having more children combined with Marroquin’s deployment took its toll on the couple, who are parents to Lincoln, 2.

On one episode, Lowry told her friends how difficult life had been since Marroquin went overseas.

“It’s rough, it’s hard,” Lowry told her friends.

“[Deployment is] a lot harder on him than I thought it would be. He doesn’t feel supported.… We lose things to talk about.

“His day-to-day is the same, we have been fighting. Right now I feel like is the time for me to focus on myself.”

Both parties have been posting quotes and cryptic tweets for awhile, leading fans to speculate that something was wrong.

In April, Lowry tweeted, “Things happen, people grow apart.

“It’s life. Keep moving forward.”

She didn’t elaborate, nor did she confirm that the marriage was over, but both she and Marroquin have been subtly trying to prepare fans for the “inevitable,” as Lowry calls it.

The season finale of Teen Mom 2 airs Monday June 6th on MTV.

James Kennedy: Vanderpump Rules Star "Too Drunk" To Fly Back From Las Vegas Bash

Go home, James.  You’re drunk.

If not you’re not familiar with British drunk slob kebob James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules, he is the skinny, tank top-wearing fruit fly who goes around insulting female cast members and irritating Jax Taylor to the point where he wants to punch him in the face.

In fact, James makes Jax look almost likeable.

James is a DJ, and was hired to spin/co-host the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Rehab Pool Party over Memorial Day weekend with Rules co-star, Lala Kent.

According to Entertainment Tonight, James was too sauced to board his Southwest Airlines flight back to Los Angeles on May 30th.

“He and LaLa were screaming at each other in the terminal,” a source told ET.

“It looked like a classic drunken fight between friends…I’m pretty sure it was LaLa telling James to get it together before getting on the plane.”

Lala reportedly yelled, “I hate you” to James and then boarded the plane.

“Right before they closed the doors, the airline worker said James couldn’t get on because he was too drunk,” the source added.

“LaLa got on the plane and Raquel stayed back at the airport with James.”

Another source told E! that Kennedy was able to travel on a later flight.

A spokesperson from Southwest Airlines told the entertainment site the have no records of Lala and James fighting.

Then again, this is Las Vegas.  Southwest probably sees this kind of thing happen all the time.  Their policy probably allows for drunken antics to take place so long as no one is killed, vomits on gate agents or holds fast food employees hostage.

James has a history of surly drunkeness on Vanderpump Rules.  On one episode, he got into a fight with an employee from Sur’s sister restaurant, Pump, which got him fired as a DJ and demoted back to his position as a bus boy.

He cried.  It was awkward.

Neither James nor Lala have commented about the incident, most likely because they’re both still hungover.

Matt Lauer: Will He Soon Be Fired From Today?

The Matt Lauer firing rumors have started up once again.

It seems as if every year there’s a report that The Today Show anchor will be relieved of his duties, with past claims pointing to a severe drop in Lauer’s popularity as the basis for his possible dismissal.

The anchor has hung on every time, however, continuing to lead the morning program even as it loses viewers to GMA on ABC.

In this case, In Touch Weekly alleges that Lauer’s high salary simply does not justify his role.

It would be one thing if Today still dominated the ratings and, therefore, was bringing in an endless amount of advertiser dollars.

But it’s pretty much on part with GMA these days, following years of owning its morning program rival in the ratings.

“Matt’s paid a lot of money, upward of $ 20 million a year,” an insider tells the aforementioned tabloid, adding of network executives:

“They don’t want to continue to give that kind of huge paycheck to one person anymore.”

If Lauer really is on the way out (and that remains a giant IF), NBC allegedly has a replacement lined up already.

This same magazine report claims that co-anchor Willie Geist “is being groomed to take over Matt’s position.”

What makes Geist so attractive to the network? He has a fresh outlook and could revamp the show with his “boyish enthusiasm,” according to the unnamed source.

Lauer signed a two-year contract with NBC in June of 2014.

Technically, therefore, he doesn’t even need to be fired.

The network can simply choose to not sign Lauer to a new deal.

Again, this all seems unlikely to occur, even if Lauer is no longer as beloved as he once was.

Still, if he does leave NBC, it’s pretty clear where he’ll end up, right? Over on ABC in order to stick it to his former bosses?

Can you say Live with Kelly and Matt?!?

Calvin Harris: Did He Dump Taylor Swift For Being Too Successful?!

As you’ve probably heard by now, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have broken up, and as with every Swift spilt, fans are full of questions.

We may never know exactly what went wrong between Swift and Harris, but naturally, rumors abound on the Interwebs.

Yesterday, sources claimed that Swift was pressuring Harris into marriage, and he cut the cord because some wild stallions can’t be tamed (at least we like to imagine that’s what he said).

Today, People magazine is offering an up an equally likely scenario:

A source tells the magazine that like so many men before him, Calvin simply couldn’t handle Taylor’s success:

“[Harris] said on multiple occasions that he was intimidated by Taylor, which is why he would not attend any events where she was being honored, or any award shows unless he was nominated,” says the insider.

“Taylor is an independent young woman, and she realizes it will take a very secure man to handle her success.”

While the fact that Taylor is among the most popular human beings on the planet may have been the primary cause of the split, the insider says there were other factors as well:

“It wasn’t an equal relationship. Their age difference might not be significant for many couples, but for them it was part of the problem too. Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience. They will not be getting back together.”

In the end of course, the source toed the party line and confirmed that Taylor and Calvin totes remain besties:

“She works incredibly hard for things that she believes in,” the insider says. “He always saw that as an amazing quality. They are still friendly.”

Uh-huh. Something tells us you won’t see them riding a tandem bike together in the near future.
