Debbie Rowe: Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Debbie Rowe has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In sad news broken by TMZ, the ex-wife of Michael Jackson was only recently informed by doctors that she has this disease.

She is expected to undergo surgery some time in the next several days.

Rowe, of course, is the mother of 18-year old Paris Jackson.

However, Paris is unaware that her only living parent has been diagnosed because she broke off contact with Rowe back in early 2015.

We’d have to imagine Paris is aware of the situation now, though.

Insiders do not point to one specific incident that fractured the relationship between Rowe and Paris Jackson.

After the legendary musician died, Debbie and Paris actually grew very close; so much so that it caused friction with the rest of the family.

But Paris then went through a number of personal issues, turning to drugs and alcohol to deal with the pain of losing her father.

As a result, her relationship with Rowe fell apart, partly due to the influence of other relatives, Rowe believes.

On Mother’s Day of this year, Jackson unfollowed Debbie via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, leading to Rowe writing an open letter to her daughter on Facebook.

“One of the saddest things in this world is to see a child grow up hating one of their parents because they only got one side of the story,” Debbie wrote at the time.

The nurse married Michael Jackson in 1996.

She gave birth to two of the late artist’s kids, Paris and her older brother, Prince.

The couple divorced in 1999, at which time Rowe signed over all parental rights to Jackson.

We send her our best wishes for a full recovery.

Joey Chestnut Sets Hot Dog Eating Record

Joey Chestnut has done it, people.

The professional eater known as “Jaws” recaptured the Mustard Yellow International Belt on Monday, setting a world record while coming out on top of the Nathan"s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

After losing out last year in this same contest to Matt "The Megatoad" Stonie, Chestnut defeated Stonie on July Fourth by downing 70 hot dogs.

In 10 minutes.

That marks the most hot dogs ever consumed by a human being in that amount of time.

Chestnut had held the previous mark of 69, setting the figure in 2013.

Contest officials said Chestnut also set a record last month when he ate 73 1/2 hot dogs and buns during a qualifying event, but this is the confirmed number that will go on record.

As he held the mustard-colored belt after his victory on Monday afternoon, Chestnut said Stonie had "woke up the sleeping giant" when he upset him last year.

He simply would not allow that to happen again.

"Last year was rough," Chestnut told the crowd. "This year was the best ever."

Stonie – who hails from the same California city as Chestnut – said there were "no excuses" for his loss. He said Chestnut did an amazing job.

That"s one way of putting it.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Welcome Second Child!

Move over, America.

You now need to share your birthday with the offspring of one of our favorite famous couples. Sort of.

Indeed, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski just welcomed their second child into the world!

She doesn’t have the same birthday as the United States, but the world has now been made known about her existence on July Fourth.

That’s kind of the same thing.

“What better way to celebrate the 4th… than to announce our 4th family member!!!” Krasinski Tweeted this morning, adding:

“2 weeks ago we met our beautiful daughter Violet #Happy4th.”

The Girl on the Train star and The Office alum are already parents to a girl named Hazel.

It’s too early to tell how little Hazel is adjusting to life as a big sister, but this is what Blunt told E! News about the prospect back in April:

“She’s sort of coming around to it.

“She sort of dismissed the idea initially and she just responded with, ‘Nope.’ ‘Nope,’ flat out! We’ve bought her every single ‘I’m a big sister’ book that’s out there and she’s a bookworm, so she’s coming around.”

Blunt and Krasinski got married in 2010.

A rep for the stars confirmed that the latter was expecting baby number-two in January; about a month later, Blunt debuted her baby bump at the 2016 Academy Awards.

“The first pregnancy is the most self-indulgent thing in the world because you get massages and prenatal yoga and hypnotherapy CDs,” Blunt told C Magazine this spring.

How so?

“During this one I forget that I’m even pregnant. I’m hoisting my 2-year-old around!” she explained.

We send our very best wishes to two stars who appear to be as normal as any couple in Hollywood.

Welcome to the world, Violet!
