Kyle Jenner Confirms: I Went Blonde Just Like Kim!

At this point, every member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is famous in their own right.

But no one stands out quite like the OG, Kim Kardashian, and her mini-me, Kylie Jenner.

On countless occasions, fans of the family have noted that Kylie seems to be slowly turning into Kim as she gets older.

Whether that’s the result of genetics, similar fashion tastes, or Kylie’s alleged fondness for plastic surgery is up for debate.

What’s not up for debate, however, is the fact that Kylie is looking and acting more and more like Kim all the time.

Last year, Kard lovers went nuts when Kim went blonde for Paris Fashion Week.

We’re not saying that Kylie necessarily took her own locks in a platinum direction in order to follow in her sister’s footsteps…

But she clearly chose a very similar shade.

Kylie posted the pic below on Instagram last night:

Perhaps as a response to fan theories that Kylie’s hair is fake (or perhaps because she’s a self-diagnosed social media addict), Kylie posted another pic.

And in case there was anyone who still wasn’t getting the message…

…she decided to post one more:

Yes, we think it’s safe to say that Kylie actually went blonde.

The question remains, of course:

Did she do it because of how much she admires her famous older sister?

For as open as she’s been about her private life over the course of her “career,” Kylie has never spoken about accusations that she’s borrowing her look from Kim.

Might that change now that she’s being bombarded with questions about her decision to change her mane?

Yeah, probably not.

There are some things that even Kylie prefers to keep private.

(Like the extent to which she’s gone under the knife to “enhance” her appearance.)

But we guess now that she’s officially a blonde, we guess it’s safe to assume that she’s having more fun.

Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift: Was It Ever Real?

Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are over.

However, to paraphrase Ross Geller on Friends, were Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift ever really… under?

From nearly the moment Swift’s lips touched those of Hiddleston, few people in the celebrity gossip world actually believed this relationship was real.

For what reason? Let’s examine the so-called evidence:

Swift and Hiddleston went public with their romance in the middle of June, in a most UN-Taylor Swift-like fashion:

A seemingly perfect photo opportunity was captured by a paparazzi member, as The Sun published a front page image of Hiddleston laying the saliva smack down on Swift.

How did a photographer manage to snap this cozy interaction, which took place near Swift’s estate in Rhode Island?

Easy, conspiracy theorists allege, because Swift tipped him off and set up the scene perfectly for him. It was contrived, they claim.

Why would she do this?

D’uh, these same theorists argue, because Swift has released a new album in the fall of every year since 2006.

(A reminder: Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012) and 1989 (2014).)

Having just recently split from Calvin Harris, the theory goes, Swift needed material for a new album, which, based on the aforementioned schedule, will drop some time over the next few months.

She couldn’t simply be single when it came out. She couldn’t be in a steady relationship, either.

No, this is Taylor Swift. She needed to have just had her heart broken in order to make the sort of music for which she’s become famous.

So she arranged a fake dalliance with Hiddleston and then she made sure it was over just in time to write some fresh songs and prepare her record.

And why would Hiddleston go along with this PR stunt?

Because the boost in his image would help him land the coveted role of James Bond, some have actually said.

How would dating Taylor Swift push James Bond producers to cast Hiddleston in this iconic part? It’s unclear.

Swift and Hiddleston made the international rounds, showing up in Italy and Australia over the past few months, arm-in-arm, hand-in-hand… arranged photo op by arranged photo op?

That’s what critics believe.

But then there’s this nugget, courtesy of an Us Weekly insider:

Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”

That statement, if true, would fly against the hypothesis that Swift was the one pushing to make this romance as public as possible.

Moreover… does it really make any sense?

Taylor Swift is already the best-selling artist in the world.

She wins nearly every music award. She breaks nearly every record with every new album.

If there’s one criticism of Swift, it that’s she dates around too much … and that she only dates celebrities … and that she thinks every relationship will end in marriage … and that she flaunts each boyfriend in nauseating fashion.

So it would somehow occur to her that a positive PR move would be to date again so soon after Harris… and to date another celebrity… and to leak that she’d say yes if Hiddleston proposed… and to flaunt her new love in nauseating fashion?

Sorry, but THAT MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

But that’s just our opinion. It’s time to cast your opinion:

Gwyneth Paltrow: Does She Regret Consciously Uncoupling?

Gwyneth “GOOPSTER” Paltrow has a very important announcement to make.

The Oscar winner has said that if she had to do it all over again, she wouldn’t announce her divorce – nay – “conscious uncoupling” – on her lifestyle site, GOOP.

According to E! News, Paltrow was asked during a LinkedIn Q&A session if she’d address consciously uncoupling again like she did in 2014 when separating from Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

“That is a good question. Not in the same way,” Paltrow answered.

“It sort of wouldn’t be appropriate now. It is a much bigger business and I’m not sure it would be the right place to do something like that. I’m not sure. That’s a good question.”

Here’s where Paltrow becomes her infuriating self, referring to GOOP as more of a little, tiny posh village that wasn’t mainstream (it actually was, since it was the butt of First World Problem jokes ).

“At that time, goop wasn’t the size that it is now, there were a lot less people,” Paltrow explained.

“It was a very, very personal project for a long time and I wrote in the first person all the time, so it wasn’t like a break.”

“Now if you read the content, it is not in the first person anymore,” Paltrow continued.

“At the time, it was still very small and very personal. It was such a difficult time in my life and I was trying so hard to protect my children and my family, Chris included.

“We were both fragile. It was really tough.

“To me it felt like this is a quiet way to do this and it is contained.”

Paltrow and Martin made an unprecedented move at the time, choosing to announce the end of their marriage on her own site rather than issuing a statement to an established publication.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” Paltrow and Martin wrote.

“We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”

“We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.

“We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time.

“We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.”

Fast-forward more than two years, and Paltrow’s site has become the go-to for all things extravagant and pretentious.

“I feel like we are just at like the acorn stage of fulfilling our potential,” she said.

“I have never known where goop is going, it has always caught me by surprise. We’ll just have to see,” she says.

“I am open to anything. I could sell it. I could pass it to my kids.”

Hokay.

Ted Cruz: Colin Kaepernick & Barack Obama Are BOTH Disrespectful!

As you’ve probably heard by now, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem during a recent preseason NFL game.

The action – which Kaepernick meant as a protest against recent police violence directed at people of color – was commended by some and harshly criticized by others.

Days after articulating his views during a press conference, Kaepernick doubled down on his stance by kneeling during the anthem and announcing plans to donate $ 1 million to charities that assist communities in need.

While visiting China for a G20 summit this week, President Obama addressed the controversy when asked about Kaepernick by reporters:

Several public figures have spoken out against Obama’s comments, many of them going so far as to accuse the president of disrespecting the nation’s flag and military veterans.

Not surprisingly, outspoken Texas senator Ted Cruz is among those who found fault with Obama’s comments.

TMZ caught up with Cruz recently and asked the former presidential hopeful about his own views regarding the Kaepernick controversy.

Cruz had this to say:

“It’s sad when you see rich, spoiled athletes that don’t recognize when incredible blessing this country is,” Cruz said.

“It’s very easy when you’re sitting there rolling in millions of dollars to disrespect this country.”

Cruz went on to get personal – and angry

“I come from it from a different perspective,” Cruz told TMZ.

“My father was imprisoned and tortured in Cuba, and America meant what it’s meant for millions from across the globe. It’s meant opportunity; it’s meant freedom.”

He added:

“And I gotta say, I was disappointed to see President Obama stand with Kaepernick and say, ‘That’s right, disrespect the flag.’

“The president should be standing up for America. The president should be encouraging every America to honor the flag that so many have bled and died for, and to honor the freedom that it stands for.”

Needless to say, it doesn’t look like this controversy will be going away anytime soon.

Several NFL players have joined in Kaepernick’s protest, and his stance is now impacting athletes in other sports.

US soccer player Megan Rapinoe kneeled for the anthem prior to a recent game.

With the NFL season officially kicking off Thursday night, this divisive issue is sure to draw even more attention in the weeks to come.

Kaepernick says it was his intention to help spark a national conversation about race and police violence.

There’s no denying that the quarterback has succeeded in that.
