Ariana Grande & Mac Miller: Engaged?!
On Sunday night, Ariana Grande headlined a star-studded concert to benefit the victims of the Manchester bombing that killed 22 and injured dozens more.
Several A-listers performed at the show, but all eyes were on Grande, who’s previous concert was the site of the terrorist attack.
Today, video of Grande’s tearful finale has gone viral has justifiably gone viral.
Like so many others who were on hand that tragic night, Grande no doubt has a long way to go in her personal healing process, but her musical tribute to the lives that were taken offered reason to hope that healing is possible.
And now it seems that the night may have been a profoundly emotional one for Ariana for reasons aside from the obvious.
As you can see from some of the photos taken that night, Ariana was moved to tears multiple times over the course of the evening.
But some fans have been focusing more on the singer’s ring finger than on her face:
Sources close to Ariana say the trauma of the attack actually brought her closer to boyfriend Mac Miller, who’s provided much-needed emotional support and a shoulder to cry on.
Now, many believe that Mac may have expressed his desire to be there for Ariana forever by popping the question at some point in the past week.
There’s been no official word from the couple, but photos from last night’s concert do seem to show the Ariana sporting a sixzable rock on her left hand.
Tellingly, neither party has taken to social media to deny the rumors, although that could be out of a desire to keep the focus on Manchester and the Red Cross fund that’s been set up to support victims of the bombing.
Sources close to Ariana tell Hollywood Life that marriage has been on her mind for quite some time:
“They talk about marriage all the time with each other, almost to the point where friends are rolling their eyes over it,” an insider tells Hollywood Life.
Mac joined Ariana on stage last night, and fans erupted in applause at the sight of the couple.
It may be quite some time before we find out for certain if the performers have plans to spend the rest of their lives together.
But at this point, it seems there’s no doubt that Mac will continue to help Ariana through the most difficult period of her young life.
