Chontel Duncan: Fit Mom Flaunts Abs 1 Week After C-Section!

We’ve spoken before about fitness model Chontel Duncan’s first pregnancy. As with other ultra-fit moms, her pregnancy turned out to be somewhat controversial.

Why? Well, because she was rocking a six pack throughout it. You know, like Sarah Stage.

Chontel is no stranger to backlash, so when she shares this pic of her post-baby body just a week after the birth of her second child, she went ahead and posted a rebuttal to any and all criticism that body-shamers were likely to throw her way.

Chontel shared this photo of herself.

She shared this only one week after giving birth, and she’s already giving people serious ab envy.

(And shower envy, if we’re being honest)

Chontel’s had to put up with every type of body-shaming, and even had ridiculous clickbait articles point the finger at her and mothers like her, accusing these fit moms of being responsible for “pregorexia,” which is not a real thing.

But it hurts just the same.

Talking about how she plans to get back into her workout routine as she recovers from her C-section was only going to be the target for more haters. She knew this.

So she was more than prepared for all of the comments that people were going to have about her post-baby bod, and decided to head htem off at the pass.

Writing in her Instagram captions, Chontel wrote:

“Now before anyone jumps down my throat saying anything negative think before you type; everyone is unique and different in their own special way. There is no ‘one’ journey or one way, this is my ‘normal’.”

Sad that she has to start it that way.

But, like we said, she’s more than accustomed to haters.

“No one is forced to follow my account/s, I openly share my life for all who appreciate it, that includes the highs and the lows. I am only one person, so therefore I cannot possible relate to everyone’s experience.”

Those are some really great points.

The ol’ “don’t like don’t follow” line definitely applies to Instagram, folks.

“If your instant response isn’t positive I challenge you to see beyond your negativity and find the kindness within.”

Immediate negativity says more about the commenter than what the commenter is seeing.

Chontel talks about how lucky she is.

“I was blessed to conceive, blessed to experience no sickness, I did experience discomfort & tiredness, but overall I had a very enjoyable pregnancy. Could not be more grateful I grew a full term 8 pound baby, delivering through c-section on the 20th Sept.”

That’s great for her and for the baby.

“A week later I took my first ‘post pregnancy’ progression photo. (As shown above) In a week’s time I start my very own 8 week transformation program @hiit_australia for the first few weeks it will be all about the nutrition plan.”

Again, she hada  C-section. She has a lot of recovery ahead of her.

“When I am given the all clear I will incorporate light walking and eventually be able to go back to training. I plan to keep you all up to date as I find my new routine as a mummy of 2 beautiful blessings. “

That sounds like a good plan.

Speaking of her blessings, Chontel postes a photo during her first pregnancy that really illustrated how differently one pregnant body can look from another.

In cases you needed to see the contrast, here she is towards the end of 2015:

At the time, Chontel captioned this photo for full context:

“I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting.”

Both of these children were born in 2016, of course.

“Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names etc was beautiful.”

Cute!

“This is Nat’s 3rd pregnancy so she had a lot of great advice to share. It’s very clear in this photo just how tall I am, I mean my chin sits above Nat’s head lol.”

This was Chontel’s first pregnancy. She’s now had two babies.

“We worked out that we are 4 weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds hehehehe….. Nat’s due start of March & I’m due end of March.”

Awwww!

“Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn’t mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy.”

That’s a great lesson. One that we hope that people can remember before they write hateful things.

If you’re in the market for some photos of another woman who carries her pregnancies as tightly — or more so — than Chontel, look no further than Sarah Stage:

Dan Bilzerian Tweets Photo of Stephen Paddock"s Bloody Corpse

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, 59 people were killed and hundreds more were injured on Sunday night when a gunman by the name of Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd at a country music concert in Las Vegas.

The mass shooting was the deadliest in US history, and Americans are outraged that an individual civilian was able to perpetrate such a senselessly destructive act of terrorism.

In the days since the tragedy, there’s been a great deal of discussion about what role the media should play in helping the public to process it.

Some feel Paddock’s name shouldn’t be mentioned publicly, as notoriety he receives might serve to encourage copycat gunmen.

Others feel that we should thoroughly investigate Paddock’s motives in order to carry on a more informed conversation about gun violence and mental illness in America.

What both sides can agree on is that the media should in no way glamorize Paddock’s horrific actions or create an environment that distracts from the crucial issues at the heart of this matter.

Unfortunately, in the age of the 24-hour news cycle, many outlets find it difficult not to inundate their audience with a steady barrage of new information that ends up distracting from the fact that dozens of innocent Americans have lost their lives.

Yesterday’s odd interview with Paddock’s brother (above) is one example of the worsening media circus.

And the involvement of Dan Bilzerian is undoubtedly another.

Bilzerian is a professional poker player and internet celebrity with a social media following of several million.

The 36-year-old Vegas resident was present at the concert and posted shocking video of the shooting on his Instagram page.

Bilzerian was applauded by some for documenting the madness of the scene and denigrated by others for focusing on shooting video instead of helping the wounded.

Today, Bilzerian followed the graphic footage up with yet another controversial social media post, this one featuring a photo of the bloodied corpse of Paddock, who killed himself with a gunshot wound to the head.

For obvious reasons, we’ve chosen not to share the photo here.

Bilzerian’s tweet has met with a mixed response from his followers, with some castigating the Instagram star for using shock value to draw media attention, and others praising him for publicly humiliating a monster.

“It was f–ked up he murdered people… and took so many lives. He deserves whatever embarrassment his corpse gets,” wrote one follower.

“No, actually there r these things called morals and ethics … respect the dead,’” commented another.

The post has sparked a contentious debate with hundreds arguing for each side.

Obviously, the issue of whether Bilzerian is morally justified in posting the image will never be definitively settled, but it seems undeniable that such actions distract from the vitally important conversation that we should be having as a nation this week.

Mark Salling Pleads Guilty in Child Porn Case, Faces 4-7 YEARS in Prison

Actor Mark Salling could be facing some serious prison time after entering a plea of guilty to child pornography charges today.

The ex-Glee star pleaded guilty in the case, which reportedly involved possession of material involving a prepubescent minor.

This comes over a year following his arrest, after which he appeared in an L.A. courtroom for his arraignment and pleaded not guilty.

The terms of his plea agreement state that Salling would serve 4-7 years behind bars followed by up to 20 years of supervised release.

Conditions of said release will be determined by the court.

Mark Salling will also have to register as a sex offender and participate in psychological counseling and/or enroll in a treatment program.

In June of last year, the 35-year-old  was indicted on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography on his laptop.

It was also on a hard drive and 16GB USB flash drive.

He got arrested December 29, 2015, at which point Salling’s devices were seized by investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department.

The items “contained thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography,” according to police involved with the case.

Days after Salling’s indictment, he was fired from his gig on the miniseries Gods and Secrets. He has kept a low profile since.

In May of last year, he was indicted on two charges of child pornography, which carries a possible 20-year jail term for each.

Around the time of his arraignment, court documents were obtained detailing the graphic extent of the evidence against him.

The documents contained 100,000 pages of evidence of Mark’s crimes, including photos and forensic examination results.

Yes, 100,000 pages.

“Several digital devices containing images of child pornography” are also said to exist, and that’s not even the worst part.

Salling allegedly even had a video in his possession that was purported to show a five-year-old performing a sex act.

Unbelievable.

Naya Rivera, who co-starred with him on Glee and reportedly had a fling with him back in the day, said she wasn’t surprised.

“My son’s nanny actually told me about it when the story broke,” Naya writes in her book Sorry, Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up

“I can’t say I was totally shocked, but still – WTF? Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way.”
