Kylie Jenner: FINALLY Confirming Pregnancy...Against Kris Jenner"s Wishes?!
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Kylie Jenner is pregnant with her first child.
But despite weeks of tabloid headlines, Kylie has yet to actually confirm that she’s expecting Travis Scott’s baby.
Now, it looks as though Kylie might finally be gearing up to announce her pregnancy in typical Kardashian fashion–with a revealing photoshoot.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the sight of Kylie’s baby bump, which is both weird as hell and somewhat understandable.
After all, Kylie is one of the most popular media figures of her generation, so the intense interest in her personal life isn’t all that strange.
That said, the idea of millions of people breathlessly awaiting the sight of a 20-year-old’s bared belly will never not be weird.
Anyway, like her sisters, Kylie thrives on publicity, so it’s a little weird that she has yet to cash in on the public obsession with her uterus.
But now, a pair of new reports is shedding light on Kylie’s strategy–and offering new information about when the 20-year-old finally share her big news with fans.
Yesterday, Kylie posted a cryptic Instagram photo that some fans are taking as confirmation that the long-anticipated bump reveal is finally at hand.
The closeup of Kylie’s fingers (below) may not seem very exciting, but it’s her jewelry that has fans talking.
As you can see, Kylie is rocking butterfly rings.
She captioned the pic simply, “Shoot day.”
Butterflies are of special significance to Kylie and Travis (the couple has matching butterfly tattoos, one of his hits is entitled “The Butterfly Effect,” etc.), so many believe Kylie is hinting at a shoot with Scott.
And it’s not hard to see why they’re convinced the resulting pics might serve as the couple’s pregnancy announcement.
So what took so long?
Well, the number one theory on social media is that Kylie held off on making the announcement at the behest of Kris Jenner.
“Kris instructed Kylie to wait until they are done filming the pregnancy spin-off special. She also wants to see if Life of Kylie gets picked up for season two,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
Yes, it seems some folks believe Kris was using the news as leverage–hoping to ensure a renewal for Kylie’s struggling reality show before making the big reveal.
That would be some brutally calculating sh-t, but we certainly wouldn’t put it past Kris.
In recent interviews, the momager has played it coy, carefully dodging questions about just Kylie is up to these days.
“I think she is very strong,” Kris said in response to a query about “recent changes” in her daughter’s life.
“I think the strength that she has as a woman and as an entrepreneur, a businessperson, and everything that she’s got going on — she’s really equipped to handle whatever comes her way. I’m so proud of that kid. She’s a good girl with a big heart.”
Obviously, Kris isn’t fooling anyone, but that’s not the point.
She’s stringing us along, which means she has our attention, which at the end of the day is really what the ladies of the Kard clan want.
Jill Duggar: Pregnant Again ALREADY?!
You know what they say about those Duggars … they sure are fertile!
Seriously though, fertility is literally the family’s claim to fame, and with multiple pregnancy announcements a year, it’s obvious that the kids are keeping up with Jim Bob and Michelle’s approach to procreating.
So far this year, Jessa, Jill, and Anna have all given birth, and Joy-Anna is currently expecting her first child.
And although it’s looking like Jinger is breaking away from the family tradition, let’s be real, no one would be surprised if she’s pregnant now, too.
That’s a whole lot of babies for one family, right?
And judging by this video, we might be able to add yet another one onto the pile!
In the video, shared to the Duggar family’s Facebook page, we see Jill teaching Johannah how to make apple crisp and apple dumplings.
Honestly, not much really happens here — Michelle is filming it, and we do hear her call Jill “Muffy” and Johannah “Hansel,” which is something.
Jill cuts up some apples and explains the recipe to her little sister while looking thoroughly unamused by pretty much everything.
We wouldn’t even be sharing this video if it wasn’t for that possible baby bump on Jill!
Yep, Duggar fans are convinced that Jill is expecting her third child with Derick Dillard, and they weren’t shy about voicing their thoughts in the comment section on the post.
“Ummmmmm maybe it’s just me but I think Miss Jill is sporting a Baby Bump!!!!!” one excited person wrote.
Another asked “Is this an older video or a present one. Is Jill pregnant? Just wondering.”
Several people asked how recent the video was, simply positive that Jill looks pregnant, and some even pointed out the can of ginger ale on the counter in front of her as evidence.
So what’s the deal?!
Before you go and send Jill a congratulatory tweet or fruit basket or whatever, remember that she just gave birth to her second child in July.
That’s just four months ago, so it’s completely possible that she still hasn’t bounced back yet — and who would expect her to have bounced back already?
Even if she’d had an easy time of it, it’s not fair to expect her stomach to be completely flat already, and it’s weird that we even have to say that.
When you throw in the fact that she had an emergency c-section after being in labor for 40 hours … she actually looks pretty amazing, right?
In rebuttal to the baby bump theorists, several people pointed out that fact: that Jill just had her second emergency c-section in July, so obviously things aren’t “back to normal” yet.
Some women even said that sometimes with multiple c-sections, you always have a little bit of a bump, even years afterwards.
Also, as hard as it may be to believe, some people just enjoy the taste of ginger ale.
Could she be pregnant right now?
Absolutely — she is a Duggar.
But we’re going to go ahead and say that we’ll probably have to wait a little while longer for the next Dillard baby.
