The Kim Kardashian Crying Face is so iconic that Kim Kardashian herself has turned it into an emoji.
She"s making money off her own tears.
But the reality star likely wishes she never had to shed any a few months ago, back when her husband suffered a mental breakdown that resulted in a nine-day hospitalization.
In the following clip from this Sunday"s new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashian, we get to witness Kim receiving the phone call that changed her life.
After answering a call from an unnamed friend of Kanye West"s, Kim immediately breaks down in this sneak peek.
(Editor"s Note: What amazing luck for the show that cameras were on hand to capture the call, huh? And that Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian were there to react! Amazing good fortunate!)
"What"s wrong? Don"t scare me, please. What"s going on?" Kim continually asks the person on the other line.
In November, not long after Kim was robbed at gunpoint,West allegedly attacked a personal trainer at his gym, the most dramatic sign of a breakdown that forced him into the care of doctors at UCLA Medical Center.
We haven"t really seen Kanye or heard from him since.
"I get a call from one of Kanye"s friends and my heart drops," Kim says in a confessional below, adding:
"They"re not telling me anything, and I am so scared and I don"t know what to do."
Kardashian eventually tells her relatives that the Kanye friend was also crying on the phone and it"s clear something is wrong.
Something has also been wrong for the series itself, which is losing more and more viewers each week throughout Season 13.
