From the moment they get married, Duggar women instantly become subjects of non-stop pregnancy speculation.
We’re sure it’s annoying, but it comes with the territory of belonging to a family that’s famous for procreation.
It’s only been two months since Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth, but the couple has moved quickly from the start, so we suppose it’s no great surprise that fans are already talking babies.
Of course, in this case they’re being egged on by Jim Bob Duggar, who recently got fans hopes up in an interview about what they can expect from upcoming episodes of Counting On.
Speaking with OK! magazine, Jim Bob strongly hinted that his most recently married daughter already has a bun in the oven.
“It’s probably going to be Joseph and Kendra, maybe their relationship, maybe getting a little closer and then, who knows?” Jim Bob mused as though pondering a metaphysical question with no true answer.
“Maybe Joy and Austin will have a little one on the way,” the Duggar patriarch continued.
“You never know what will happen.”
The funny thing, of course, is that Jim Bob totally does know what will happen.
He just doesn’t want to give too much away.
Perhaps realizing that his Joy teaser gave away a bit too much, JB abruptly changed course:
“Maybe Jinger and Jeremy,” Jim Bob said, as though just remembering that Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo last year.
Gotta love how Jimbo talks about the goings-on within his family like he’s speculating about what’s gonna happen next on Game of Thrones.
At that point in the interview, Michelle Duggar jumped in to save her floundering husband.
“We’ve got more grandbabies on the way,” she told the magazine.
Jeez, that’s how you deliver a teaser, Jim Bob!
Keep it open-ended, and leave the people wanting more.
You’d think he’d be better at this after so many years of cashing in on his children’s personal lives.
