If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the past few days, then you’ve likely already heard the news that Kylie Jenner is pregnant.
Fans were shocked by the announcement, but obviously, no one is more stunned by this development than Kylie’s family.
Sources say the reaction has been mixed, with Caitlyn Jenner maintaining that Kylie is too young to have a baby, and Kris … well, it sounds like Kris’ pupils turned to dollar signs when she heard the news.
“Kris is excited right now and has already started processing how she is going to make money off Kylie’s pregnancy and the birth of her first child,” a Kardashian family insider tells Radar Online.
“She obviously wants to document the entire thing to use the footage for an upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
Of course she does!
Part of Kris has to be sort of pissed that Kylie got pregnant just as a new season of KUWTK is starting, which means that her pregnancy won’t be featured until next season.
On the other hand, the news definitely ramped up interest in the family just in time for last night’s KUWTK ten-year anniversary, so maybe Kylie got a bonus.
Either way, it sounds like Kris is taking the news in stride.
Of course, it’s not like she has much say in the matter.
By certain metrics, Kylie is the most popular Kardashian, and she may even be the most powerful member of the family.
Kylie is on pace to become a billionaire in just a few years thanks to her wildly lucrative cosmetics line, and she’s basically an industry unto herself, thanks to her massive social media following.
So Kris knows not to butt heads with her youngest daughter.
But she’s also probably aware that nothing Kylie’s experienced thus far has prepared her for the challenges of becoming a mother for the first time.
There are reportedly concerns within the family that Kylie has no idea what she’s getting herself into.
“Kylie is very naïve,” says one insider, adding that the 20-year-old “of course has no idea about all the hard work and sleepless nights.”
But hey, at least Kris Jenner can make a buck off it.
And then Kylie can use those bucks to hire a nanny.
It’s hard to truly mess up when you’re that rich.
