If you follow the life and career (such as it is) of Scott Disick, then you’re no doubt aware of the reality star’s recent troubles.
Disick was hospitalized under a 5150 psychiatric hold last month, and the more we learn about the situation, the more worrisome it gets.
Sources now claim that Scott is suffering from severe liver disease and continuing to drink heavily, while refusing to take his prescribed medications.
To make matters worse, insiders claim that Scott is being simultaneously ignored and exploited by the Kardashians.
It seems Kris Jenner is planning an intervention for Disick (to take place in front ot a camera crew, of course), but wants nothing to do with him until he agrees to participate.
In fact, despite the fact that they were the ones who had him hospitalized in August, the entire Kardashian clan is currently giving Scott the cold shoulder.
The family has reportedly made a point of snubbing Scott in public as part of an effort to embarrass him into submission.
According to Page Six, Scott attended a New York Fashion Week Event on Friday, and despite the fact that several Kardashians were on hand, her reportedly spent much of the night on his own.
“No one is talking to him,” one guest noted. “It’s sort of sad.”
But just because the Kardashians wanted nothing to do with Scott, that doesn’t mean he was entirely without companionship.
Back in May, Disick and actress Bella Thorne traveled to Cannes together, and it seems they enjoyed a reunion of sorts at Fashion Week.
Onlookers claim the Scott and Bella spent much of the night casually chatting and laughing together – and there are concerns about what the rekindled friendship might mean for Scott’s future.
Members of the Kardashian family were reportedly outraged that Scott took a 19-year-old model to Cannes, thus humiliating the mother of his children, Kourtney Kardashian.
The fact that Scott happily interacted with Bella in a public setting last week is being interpreted by many as a sign that Kris Jenner’s coordinated freeze-out campaign isn’t working.
Scott is still drinking, still hanging out with young starlets, and is seemingly unconcerned with the Kardashians think.
At this point, it seems unlikely that Disick would participate in an intervention staged by the Kris and company.
And sadly, it looks as though that’s his best chance of getting the help he needs.
