Kailyn Lowry: Jo Rivera is Trying to Take My Son Away from Me!

Kailyn Lowry has sure found a great recipe for drama, hasn’t she?

Have three children with three different men, end any romantic relationships with all of those men, and then watch the sparks fly!

It’s really been working out well for her — at least in that she’s been able to provide plenty of material for two different reality shows.

(And it could be three shows soon, if MTV would give her that spin-off she deserves already!)

Lately, her third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, has been in the spotlight, which makes sense.

Their son is just six weeks old, and already they’ve been able to provide enough drama to last a lifetime.

Are they dating? Are they not? Is he even seeing his son? Is he trying to get full custody? What’s happening?!

On top of that, Kailyn’s relationship with her ex-husband and second baby daddy, Javi Marroquin, hasn’t been disappointing either.

She’s filed an order of protection against him, accused him of threatening her, and soon they’ll be featured on the new season of Marriage Boot Camp.

Things have been so bad with Chris and Javi that we always imagined Kailyn was really thankful for her easy-going relationship with her first baby daddy, Jo Rivera.

But as we saw in last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, things aren’t as good between them as we previously believed.

Kailyn and Javi share seven-year-old Isaac, and they’ve been able to successfully co-parent for a while now.

They’ve developed a friendship, and he seems to be there for her when she needs him. It’s been sweet to see.

But as she discussed last night, Jo recently made the decision to make the custody agreement for Isaac more official by way of going to the court and asking for 50/50 custody.

“I lost it,” Kailyn told a friend. “Like, I shouldn’t have lost my temper, but I was so furious.”

“When Jo told me that he was filling for 50/50, he brought up, like, a mock-up paper. This came out of nowhere. I thought we’ve been fine, that’s what I thought.”

She also took issue with Jo’s timing — when this was filmed, she was six months pregnant with Baby Lo.

“It’s not like I have any reason to not let him see Isaac,” she complained.

“I don’t know if we’re going to get a court date … because I really don’t want to give him 50/50.”

As for Jo, he told a producer that during that difficult conversation, Kailyn told him “I don’t know what is up with you and Javi, you guys are trying to take my kids from me.”

(Javi already has 50/50 custody of his son with Kailyn, Lincoln.)

Jo said that her behavior was “very over dramatic,” and that “I went straight to my lawyers office, told him to sign the papers and file it.”

Despite that move, he expressed his wishes “that she comes to her f-cking sense before it comes to that. And that she comes and talks to me.”

Yeah, sorry, Jo. That’s not very likely.

The thing is though that of course Jo deserves 50/50 custody of Isaac.

He’s a great father, and he and his longtime fiancée, Vee, have a daughter of their own, and Isaac should spend lots of time with his sister, just like he spends time with his little brothers.

And we know that while Jo and Kailyn don’t have anything official set up in regards to custody, Isaac already does spend a good amount of time with his dad.

So what’s the harm in making things formal?

Last season, we saw Vee urging Jo to go to court and get an actual custody arrangement, but he was hesitant to do so because his relationship with Kailyn was going so well, and he didn’t want to rock the boat.

If we had to guess, we imagine that seeing how messy things have gotten with Chris and Javi inspired Jo to make their custody arrangement official, just in case she decided to turn on him, too.

And in that case, good for him, right?
