Kate Middleton Due Date: REVEALED!

Let the Royal Countdown commence!!!

On Tuesday morning, the official Kensington Palace Twitter account surprised followers by revealing a key piece of information regarding Kate Middleton’s impending third child:

His or her due date!

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018,” reads the simple, albeit enormous, statement.

It was accompanied by a photo of Kate and William, with the former looking at gorgeous and as happy as ever.

What does this confirmation mean? A few things, by our estimation:

1. The child will either be an Aries (March 21-April 19) or a Taurus (April 20-May 20).

2. He or she will have a birthday very close to that or his or her sister, as Princess Charlotte was born on May 2.

3. Middleton is just entering her second trimester of pregnancy.

This last fact hopefully means she’s feeling a bit better, as the Duchess suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that results in some truly terrible bouts of morning sickness.

Those typically effect women the most during the first few months of their pregnancy.

But, unfortunately, things have been different (that is, worse) for Kate as a result of this health issue.

Royal tweet

The due date was revealed not long after Kensington Palace announced the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will make an official visit to Norway and Sweden in early 2018.

A more detailed itinerary, including the exact dates of the royal tour, has yet to be released.

Middleton has been keeping her public appearances to a minimum during the early stages of this pregnancy.

This is partly because she isn’t feeling great and partly because mean-spirited trolls pick on her any time she does step into the spotlight.

The royal couple, meanwhile, turned long-gestating rumor into exciting reality on September 4 when they told the world they really are expecting their third bundle of joy.

“Their royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” Kensington Palace said in a statement at the time, adding:

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

Kate and William are already parents to a four-year old named George and a two-year old named Charlotte, as mentioned above.

Will they welcome another boy or another girl into the fold this time around?

There’s been no official word from anyone in Great Britain just yet… but there has been unofficial word!

We hear Middleton is having a daughter!

“They are over the moon,” claims a palace source who revealed the gender and who also added:

“Expect the whole family to start celebrating as soon as Kate is up to it.”

You can also expect millions of people to speculate over the name Kate and William will choose for their third kid, although at least one report says it’s already a done deal.

Are George and Charlotte ready to fall in love with sister ALICE?

A popular family name, Alice is one of Queen Victoria’s daughters and the mother of the Duke of Edinburgh.

It’s allegedly the leading contender for Kate and William at the moment.

Middleton didn’t want to even confirm her state to the world until about now, but was forced to do it a month or so early after the couple had to cancel an event due to her illness.

“They thought it was best to be honest about the situation,” a source told Us Weekly in September, explaining:

“The same thing happened before. She suffers terribly in these early weeks, but she has a great medical team and a fantastic support system.”

That certainly holds true for her here at The Hollywood Gossip!

We love you, Kate, and we wish you all the best!
