Jenelle Evans’ life is an endless rollercoaster of drama with far more downs than ups.
The last month alone has seen Jenelle involved in a number of altercations, both physical and verbal.
And now, it seems her bosses and co-stars may have finally become fed up with increasingly reckless behavior.
As you may have heard, Jenelle threatened to quit Teen Mom 2 recently after complaining that the show was edited in such a way as to make her look like a bad mom.
(Given the amount of raw material Jenelle has provided, we’re guessing producers didn’t need to call in a CGI team to craft that narrative.)
Shortly thereafter, she traveled to LA and fulfilled her contractual obligation to film the TM2 reunion special, but predictably, the trip didn’t exactly smoothly.
Things got off to a rocky start when Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, got drunk and started stabbing balloons at a pre-show party.
Later, backstage, Jenelle started a brawl with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith and his new girlfriend.
If you thought she’d be all drama-ed out after that, you don’t know the divine Ms. Evans.
Last week, Jenelle took legal action against all of her co-stars (with the exception of newcomer Briana DeJesus), sending them cease-and-desist letters for reasons that remain unclear.
Needless to say, at this point, Jenelle’s bosses and cast mates have probably adopted a “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” mentality toward her decision to quit.
Unfortunately, it seems Jenelle is experiencing an acute case of quitter’s remorse, also known as the Costanza Disease.
Fans on Twitter have been speculating that Jenelle is broke, and they come bearing receipts.
They claim Jenelle’s hasty efforts to launch three business ventures in the past two months (one of which is a “clothing line” that seems to consist of nothing but hoodies and t-shirts with witty sayings) is evidence of her destitution.
They’ve weighed her estimated salaries against her expenditures, and the result is a negative balance.
Jenelle makes a lot of cash, to be sure, but she also spends wildly.
Evans recently purchased a massive tract of land and built a customized home on it.
Add that to her affection for luxury cars, and it’s not hard to see how she might have wound up in the red.
So we’re guessing that’s why Jenelle has been suddenly mum on the subject of her decision to leave the show.
She clearly wants to keep her job, but now the question is: Is there any job left for her?
