Lala Kent can breathe a huge sigh of relief.
The Vanderpump Rules star has received a lot of criticism about her relationship with Randall Emmett because it allegedly started while he was still married to Ray Donovan actress Ambyr Childers.
According to E! News, Emmett, and Childers are now officially divorced, so that should end the whole saga about Lala getting jiggy with a married man.
Randall married Ambyr back in 2009, but the pair separated in 2015. They apparently gave the relationship another go but separated again in 2016.
Fans questioned the status of the divorce earlier this month when Randall and Lala were spotted getting intimate at a FabFitFun event.
If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you will already know that Lala’s relationship with Randall has taken up the bulk of her story on the show.
She was embroiled in a bitter feud with costars, Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, and the girls were not quiet about Emmett being the one to fund her lavish lifestyle.
Lala did not want to name her boyfriend on the show and felt like it was best to depart as the rumors continued to swirl about her.
“I think just the negativity finally got to me. I’m not good at separating real life from work, so it started trickling into my everyday relationships with people who have nothing to do with the show,” Kent dished to E! news after news broke about her departure.
The SUR hostess could not handle the side dish of scrutiny that the rest of the cast and the legion of fans served up to her.
With rumors that she was making her friends sign NDA agreements, it became apparent that something was not quite right with the narrative Lala was creating on the show.
Even after her departure from the hit series, she could not stop trashing the witches of WeHo, and the whole (Bravo) world was shocked when it emerged that Lala had put her beef with the ladies aside.
With that said, nobody was surprised when Lala wormed her way back on to the show. She was quick to confirm to Lisa Vanderpump that she had lied and understood why everyone at SUR hated her.
Lisa was glad that Kent was being open and honest about her life, and was especially glad that Lala confirmed her man “is not an ATM machine.”
At this point, we’re convinced SUR has more staff than customers. People must be duking it out to get a shift in the establishment.
It’s unclear whether we will get to see Lala do battle with any of her former enemies, but we’re sure the official trailer for Vanderpump Rules Season 6 would have teased as much if there was any filmed footage.
It looks like the rumors of Kent brawling in the elegant halls of SUR were all fodder. What do we have to do to see Lala and Kristen in a shouting match?
It would be the wittiest argument in the history of Bravo.
What do you think about all of this?
