Is he or isn’t he?
This is the question Little People, Big World fans have been debating for weeks when it comes to Jacob Roloff.
Is he engaged to his long-time girlfriend Isabel, considering some of the hints that have been dropped online?
Or… well… isn’t he?
The issue first arose in early September after Isabel wrote the following on Instagram:
Have you ever been faced with a life changing decision? If you choose one way, your life will change drastically.. but if you choose another, your life will also change drastically?
If that isn’t a description of how one feels when faced with a proposal, what else could it be, right?
And then there was this:
Not only did Isabel spend Thanksgiving with Jacob and his loved ones, but Tori referred to her as a “sister” in her own Instagram caption.
So there we have it, no?
Congrats to the engaged couple, right?!?
Wrong, it now sounds like.
Amy Roloff has shared a new social media photo (posted at the outset of this article) that features her sitting happily alongside Isabel.
And, with it, the family matriarch has written:
After decorating the tree I loved hanging out w/ Isabel (Jacob’s girlfriend) making Christmas lists and munching on some delicious Ginger Bread, Pumpkin Bread and Cookies from Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen.

Did you take note of how Amy described Isabel?
As Jacob’s GIRLFRIEND, not as his fiancee.
We guess that answers that question, huh?
It’s still possible Jacob and Isbel get engaged, of course.
It’s not too late or anything.
For now, we’re just happy that Jacob is spending so much time with his family again.
He was estranged from his relatives for awhile after quitting Little People, Big World last summer amidst charges that the show was fake and his loved ones were basically pawns of TLC.
He’s since walked back these comments a bit and admitted that he needed to grow up a lot.
Now he’s done so; and he’s been sharing Instagram photos left and right of himself, his parents, his siblings and his nephew.
Does this mean we’ll see Jacob again when the series returns this spring with new episodes?
Fans have also been asking this question often via the Internet.
If Amy posts any captions that hint at that answer, we’ll be sure to let you know.
In the meantime, only one thing will tell whether this is the case with Jacob: time.
