Baby on board?
For Kim Kardashian, it’s more like: I have another baby… and I’m already bored.
Granted, that may not be entirely fair or accurate.
But the point remains: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may eventually welcome at least one other child.
According to People Magazine, the addition of Chicago West (that is not a typo; the new baby’s name really is Chicago West) is not enough for the former sex tape star and producer.
She’s anxious to continue expanding her family and may hire another surrogate to do so.
Actually, she may ask the same surrogate, an anonymous insider alleges.
“Even before Chicago was born, Kim was talking about asking the surrogate to carry her next baby,” a source tells the aforementioned publication.
This insider goes on to say that Kim and Kanye could not have been more pleased with the entire pregnancy; and especially with the woman they selected to carry their third kid to term.
“She’s so happy with the whole process and thrilled with the surrogate,” says this insider, adding of West:
“Kanye was even bonding with the surrogate’s husband in the delivery room.”
Another report says Kim and Kanye actually held Chicago before the baby’s natural mother had a chance to do so, but we’re pretty sure this is par for the surrogate course.
The idea is for the little girl to bond as quickly as possible with the people who will be serving as her adopted parents.
As for having more kids, Kanye is reportedly on board.
He wants “a lot of” children, this same source says, and was almost the driving force behind baby number-three, at least at first.
Kardashian, of course, is already the mother to a two-year old named Saint and a four-year old named North.
Both pregnancies, however, were wrought with difficulties because Kim suffer from placenta accreta, which means the placenta’s blood vessels attach too deeply to the uterus’ wall.
This can lead to complications such as blood loss and the inability to conceive again.
Her doctors advised against Kardashian getting pregnant a third time; hence, the use of a surrogate.
Wrote Kim on January 15, shortly after Chicago became a part of her world:
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
Th beauty mogul also opened up on her website last Thursday about her and her husband’s decision to use a “gestational carrier,” as she dubbed the surrogate.
“The connection with our baby came instantly and it’s as if she was with us the whole time,” Kardashian wrote in the emotional post, adding:
“Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true.
“We are so excited to finally welcome home our baby girl.”
