Clint Eastwood Defends Donald Trump, Slams "P-ssy Generation"

Clint Eastwood would like critics of Donald Trump to please get off his lawn.

Only he isn’t asking that nicely.

The veteran actor and director is one of the most outspoken Republicans in Hollywood, and he recently sat down with Esquire magazine to make his feelings known about that party’s controversial Presidential candidate.

What did Eastwood have to say about Donald Trump?

“He’s just saying what’s on his mind,” Eastwood explained of Trump’s filter-free speeches, which recently included the dissing of a crying baby.

Eastwood goes on to say he doesn’t “always agree” with Trump’s point of view… but whatever.

People just need to get over it, get a backbone and, in some cases, get a life.

“You know, he’s a racist now because he’s talked about this judge,” Eastwood said, referring to the time when Trump said a judge with Mexican parents should not have been permitted to rule on his case.

“And yeah, it’s a dumb thing to say. I mean, to predicate your opinion on the fact that the guy was born to Mexican parents or something. He’s said a lot of dumb things.”

But Eastwood doesn’t understand why only Trump receives flak for his opinions.

“All of them [say dumb things]. Both sides. But everybody – the press and everybody’s going, ‘Oh, well, that’s racist,’ and they’re making a big hoodoo out of it.

“Just f-cking get over it. It’s a sad time in history.”

Eastwood is not shy about expressing his viewpoint, that’s for sure.

Remember when he got in trouble for making a joke about Caitlyn Jenner?

In this case, it appears Eastwood takes more of an issue with a certain class of voters than anything.

He didn’t come out and endorse Trump in the interview.

But he did say the following:

“Everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells.

“We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist. And then when I did Gran Torino, even my associate said, ‘This is a really good script, but it’s politically incorrect.’

“And I said, ‘Good. Let me read it tonight.’ The next morning, I came in and I threw it on his desk and I said, ‘We’re starting this immediately."”

Eastwood concluded he planned to vote for Trump, but referred to this call as a “tough one.”

But, hey, at least he spoke to a magazine about it this time.

And not an empty chair.
