Genius Uses Super Mario to Pop Marriage Question

Geeks do it better.

So reads the official caption to the following video on YouTube.

And you"d be hard-pressed to disagree after watching the video itself.

It features a woman named Pam Edwards playing Super Mario Brothers, quite possibly the most classic video game in the history of all video games.

Her boyfriend, Shane Birkinbine, is filming the screen as she plays, guiding her through the basics of making Mario run and jump and grow bigger with the help of some magic mushrooms.

And  Edwards is having a perfectly strong run at first, scoring points and having fun.

But then she comes to a series of giant letters.

“What’s that say?” Shane says from behind the camera. “The blocks. It spells out your name, I think.” 

Wait… what?!? How?

Who knows? It"s complicated geek stuff, we presume.

Along with his girlfriend"s name, however, Shane has also managed to write a certain message to Pam within the game. It reads:

"Will you marry me?"

Pam says yes, finishes the game (HA!) and then breaks down in tears.

Trust us. This is unlike any marriage proposal you"ve ever seen.

Anderson Cooper and Mario Lopez Tease Live Co-Hosting Possibility

Hey, they aren’t saying no!

With Michael Strahan scheduled to leave Live! on May 13*, two of the ex-football star’s rumored replacements were asked on Thursday about taking over the gig and sitting alongside Kelly Ripa every morning.

Anderson Cooper Would Love to Work with Kelly Ripa

(*Unless producers move up his departure date once again.)

We’ll start with Anderson Cooper.

A very good friend of Ripa’s and supposedly one of her two ideal choices for the job, Cooper is busy these days at CNN, of course.

And he’ll get even busier once the 2016 Presidential election officially comes down to Donald Trump versus Kelly Ripa.

“Listen, I love Kelly, and Kelly is the heart and soul of that show,” Cooper told Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last night, adding:

“It’s gonna go on and continue to be great and I wish Michael the best in his new endeavor.”

Okay, cool. Great. Nice response.

Now… can we get an actual response to the question please?

“It would be a dream to work with Kelly but nobody’s offering anything,” Cooper finally said.

It’s hard to interpret that in any other way except for: if you offer me the job, I’ll take it… right?

Cooper, meanwhile, appears to have competition from Mario Lopez.

This television personality was a guest of Ellen DeGeneres and the topic of Ripa’s new co-host was broached with him as well.

“That’s very flattering. Very flattering. You’re so nice,” Lopez responded when DeGeneres said she’d heard rumor that he’s in the running.

“I know, people were saying that. I love Kelly. I’ve guest hosted with her a few times she’s awesome. I actually did a movie with her husband Marc who’s a real good guy.”

Again… answer the question please!

Lopez confirmed he’ll at least serve as a guest host of the supposedly demanding diva and then said the following when Ellen asked straight up if he might be the permanent replacement:

“Well, I got to go over everything with Mrs. Lopez. She’s the real boss of the house so we’ll see what she has to say about that.”

Sources say ABC may wait all summer before they announce an official replacement.

So we’ve got plenty of time to speculate!

Kristen Stewart: Nude for Mario Testino!

Kristen Stewart is one of the more guarded celebrities in Hollywood. She doesn’t reveal very much about herself in interviews.

But the complete opposite can now be said about the following photo, which reveals absolutely EVERYthing about the actress… physically speaking, that is.

Oh, yes, the above image featureds Kristen Stewart completely nude.

Testino unveiled the sexy picture on Instagram Saturday, saying it is part of his appropriately-titled “Towel Series.”

The former Twilight Saga beauty is the 91st celebrity Testino has photographed with no clothing on, as Stewart joins other famous subjects such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Selena Gomez and Blake Lively.

On his website, Testino says that Towel Series began after he took note of Kate Moss sitting in a white robe with a towel wrapped around her head during a photo shoot.

And he apparently realized: hey, hot people wearing only towels is pretty attractive!

“I think guys and girls feel this freedom at being able to express themselves because there is no predetermined way of how they should put the towel on,” he writes on his site.

“You can do anything you want… wear it however you want.”

It’s true.

Again, though, this isn’t very complicated: When good looking people take off their clothing, the results are typically favorable.

Mario Batali was puttering around the Big Apple Saturday on a vespa wearing matching shorts and crocs … orange.

The star of “The Chew” was traversing the streets of Tribeca on his Vespa, protecting his noggin but leaving his feet somewhat vulnerable to vehicular attack.

Orange, pink and blue.  Who knew?
