Kylie Jenner Thanks Troops, Gives Veterans Day Shoutout to Her Grandfather!

It’s Veterans Day, and many celebs are paying tribute to the men and women of the US armed forces by posting heartfelt messages of gratitude on social media.

Kylie Jenner’s Instagram page is usually devoted to bikini photos and product endorsements, but even the Selfie Queen herself took a break from her schedule of self-promotion to give a patriotic salute and share an interesting tidbit of Jenner history.

Moments ago, Kylie posted the pic on the left with a caption reading:

“Thanking all the amazing men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. My grandfather is on my mind today who fought in World War II and received 2 Purple Hearts. We miss u.”

Yes, it seems a member of Kylie’s family once boarded a non-private plane to a foreign country and didn’t take a single poolside selfie the whole time.

All kidding aside, Kylie has 40 million Instagram followers and since teens don’t exactly have the greatest reputation when it comes to acknowledging their indebtedness to others and appreciating the contributions of their elders, it’s cool that she’ setting this example.

And don’t worry, we’re sure the usual schedule of Kylie bikini selfies will resume tomorrow. She’s probably already working on her poses.

11 Participants Who Peaced Out of Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars is often a battle of attrition.

It"s one of the more physically and mentally demanding reality shows out there – and, as a result, the competition has taken its toll on a number of participants.

The following celebrities, for example, have been forced to leave Dancing with the Stars prior to actually being voted out:

1. Tamar Braxton

Braxton is lucky to be alive. She formed blood clots on both of her lungs and was rushed to the hospital during Season 21, dropping out soon after. “With a Heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has to come to an end along with the rest of my tour dates with @musicbykem,” she wrote on Instagram.

2. Kim Zolciak

Also on Season 21, Kim Zolciak was unable to perform one week after suffering a stroke. She was therefore disqualified and went on to have heart surgery.

3. Billy Dee Williams

A chronic back issue cropped up and forced Billy Dee Williams out of Dancing with the Stars Season 18.

4. Jewel

Jewel was supposed to compete on Season 8. However, she fractured her tibias just before the season began and Holly Madison took her spot.

5. Nancy O’Dell

Also took place prior to Season 8. This anchor withdrew after tearing her meniscus, which required surgery. Melissa Rycroft filled in and actually went on to win the All-Stars season.

6. Dorothy Hamill

After just two routine, the Olympic figure skater withdrew from the competition in season 16 due to a serious back injury.

Blake Shelton Got Gwen Stefani PREGNANT!!!

One loves a good bit of tabloid fodder.

However, I’m a little confused by OK Magazine’s newest cover story, because nowhere in the online story does it state that Gwen Stefani is carrying Blake Shelton‘s child.

The story only talks about Shelton getting to know Stefani’s three sons with ex, Gavin Rossdale.  A source claims that Stefani will let Kingston, Zuma and Apollo to “get to know Blake as a friend,” before they all start referring to him as a “father figure.”

Yes, but where are you saying that she’s pregnant?

“Blake has a picture of Gwen as the screen saver on his phone, the source said.When they’re together, they literally can’t wipe the smiles off their faces. It’s very sweet.”

No, I want to read the part where the “sources” talk about Stefani being up the duff.

“They don’t just want to date; they want to be a family.  Blake would be thrilled to finally become a dad.”

Gossip Cop had the same question about this so-called pregnancy announcement, only to discover that OK! was actually speculating about the possibility of a baby.

“Insiders believe that, just a few weeks in, Blake and Gwen already have a baby on the way,” the story alleges.

“Gwen made an appointment with a doctor in late October after signs pointed to her being pregnant,” a so-called “source” alleges to the tabloid. “She’s already changed her lifestyle in preparation for the possibility. And Blake would be thrilled to become a dad.”

OK! brought up one of the issues that reportedly cause Shelton and his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert to split.  Lambert didn’t want kids, Shelton did, and now he’s “thrilled” at the prospect of becoming a dad.

The story is most likely a load of crap.  The end.

Top Hollywood Star Secretly Battling HIV, Report Claims

According to a bombshell report from Radar Online, one of Hollywood’s biggest actors has been battling HIV for at least two years.

Insiders say the actor – described by Radar as a middle-aged A-lister with a reputation as a hard-partying playboy – has been keeping his symptoms at bay with the help of a “cocktail” of drugs, but lives in fear of how the disease might affect his career and reputation.

“His medical outlook is positive,” one insider claims. “He was teary-eyed as he told friends that he had it, but he felt that a public admission would destroy him and his fans.”

“His worst fear is that he will be remembered not as a great actor but as someone who contracted the disease…He has been tortured by the thought that his acting genius will be forgotten.”

It may be surprising that in 2015 an established star should have to worry about being judged by the public for his condition, but HIV is a disease that tends to bring out the ignorant side in otherwise enlightened individuals.

Even in famously left-leaning Hollywood, backwards, archaic notions about the causes and effects of HIV still abound. 

To make matters worse, the actor reportedly fears that he’ll be judged as a result of his reckless past that included intravenous drug use and group sex.

UK tabloid The Sun claims the actor’s long list of exes “includes an award-winning actress, a religious movie star, a top Hollywood personality with a controversial past, a TV star, a media personality and a glamour model.”

Sources say the actor has no reason to believe that he’s infected anyone else, but his lawyers are nonetheless “preparing for a raft of potential legal claims from previous lovers.”
