Lady Gaga National Anthem: Watch It Again!

She crushed it!

No one will ever be able to top Whitney Houston"s national anthem performance at the Super Bowl in 1991, considering the legendary singer honored her country during actual war time.

So we cannot come out and say that Lady Gaga put on the best Star-Spangled Banner performance of all-time at Super Bowl 50.

But one of the best? There can really be no debate.

The Golden Globe winner decked herself out in a glittering red suit, rocked shiny red eye shadow and some lovely blue nails.

But then she opened her mouth and proved that she"s far more than some attention-getting star who once wore a meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards.

She has vocal range. She has a sense of the moment. And she clearly has a love of her country.

It wasn"t just us, right? Lady Gaga definitely appeared to tear up toward the end of her performance, didn"t she?

See it again or watch it for the first time below and then sound off:

Where does this rank among all-time Super Bowl performances? It has to be right near the top, doesn"t it?

And we can start a petition right now to have Lady Gaga serve as the Super Bowl 51 halftime act? Pretty please?

Puppy Monkey Baby Scares the Ish Out of All SB50 Viewers

They say that all publicity is good publicity.

If this is really the case, then Mountain Dew must be feeling very good about itself this morning.

The soda company ran what most consider to have been the strangest commercial of Super Bowl 50, which is saying a lot considering the NFL aired a commercial centered around kids singing about their parents having sex.

But Mountain Dew spent its million of dollars on a spot that introduced the company"s new drink, Kickstart, infusing the nightmares of viewers around the world with the image of a pug… dressed up like a monkey… who is wearing a diaper and who is dressed up like a baby.

We really wish we were making this up.

The drink, which is a combination of Mountain Dew, juice and caffeine, is pretty much the equivalent of Four Loko without the alcohol.

And we suppose we have to hand it to Mountain Dew in some way here:

The brand didn"t try to be especially cute or creative in any way. It simply aimed for shock value and it succeeded.

Heck, everyone is talking about this commercial the day after Peyton Manning and company defeated the Carolina Panthers. So that"s pretty much a win, right?

Not according to Patton Oswalt, however, whose Tweet may have actually won Super Bowl 50:

That puppy monkey baby is already being used in ISIS recruiting videos.

11 GIFs That Prove Beyonce Won Super Bowl 50

Who runs the world? Girls!

Actually… one girl in particular.

With all due respect to the Denver Broncos, who supposedly came out on top of the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 despite compiling fewer than 200 total yards on offense, there was one clear winner on Sunday night.

And it was not Peyton Manning.

It was Beyonce Knowles.

Not only did she simply own the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, she managed to pay tribute to Michael Jackson during her performance and then announce a world tour immediately afterward.

Seriously, did you have more fun watching Manning hand off all night or Beyonce flip her hair while dancing around to her new single, "Formation?"

We rest of our case. And we"ll now let these Beyonce halftime GIFs speak for themselves…
