Johnny Depp Flees LA, Gets Support From Daughter & Disney

Like the swaggering pirate he so memorably portrayed, Johnny Depp might be wondering where the rum is these days.

The answer? In the Caribbean, of course.

According to several sources, Depp has been riding out his divorce from Amber Heard at his private island in the Bahamas.

“He has no plans to return to L.A.,” a source close to Depp tells People magazine.

“He misses nothing about L.A. but his kids, and they are visiting him in the Bahamas.”

We suppose there are worse places to be self-exiled.

The magazine states that Depp is currently being visited by his 17-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose.

His son 14-year-old son, Jack, is expected to arrive with his mother, Vanessa Paradis, sometime this week.

“Having his kids around is always great for him. He has really missed his kids,” the insider adds.

“He likes being surrounded by people and everyone is trying to cheer him up.”

As you’ve likely heard, Depp has been accused of assault by his estranged wife.

Heard has been granted a temporary restraining order, and she and Depp are reportedly on the verge of reaching a divorce settlement.

Heard’s allegations have called into question the future of Depp’s career, but it seems the actor needn’t worry about his most lucrative properties.

Disney – who, as the studio behind the Pirates of the Caribbean and the live-action Alice in Wonderland franchises is as responsible for Depp’s career renaissance as anyone – basically confirmed this week that it has no plans to cut ties with the actor, despite his recent legal troubles.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Disney CEO Bob Iger stated that he is “not worried” about Depp’s “personal problems.”

Asked if he believes the current controversy will pass, Iger responded:

“I don’t know whether it passes or not. We have Jack Sparrow.”

Asked if he thinks people will separate the actor from his most famous character, Iger responded, “Right.”

So it sounds like Depp can do no wrong in the eyes of those in his inner circle.

The question now is – will the movie-going public be as forgiving?

Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa: Is the Beef Really Squashed?

DING! DING! DING!

Who out there is ready for Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa, Round 37?

In an interview with the Breakfast Club radio program on Friday morning, Khalifa was asked about his former beef with Mr. Kim Kardashian and told the hosts that all is not as calm and friendly as it may seem.

“I don’t feel like I really went at him,” Wiz said of the rappers’ Twitter feud, which was sparked because Kanye thought Wiz was referencing Kardashian in a Tweet that was actually about weed.

“That was his bad,” Wiz said.

His hilarious bad, that’s for sure.

The back-and-forth got underway in January after Khalifa made a mention of “KK.”

That was all it took for Kanye to go off as only Kanye can, Tweeting at Khalifa:

Bro first of all you stole your whole shit from Cudi… Second, your first single was corny as f-ck and most there after… You have distracted from my creative process.

It was glorious.

It was also misguided because, as previously mentioned, Khalifa was referring to a strain or marijuana when he wrote those initials, not Kanye’s wife.

Kanye did eventually acknowledge this mistake, but not before he slammed Khalifa’s child… which prompted Amber Rose to say Kanye liked it when she stuck fingers up his butt.

Like we said: glorious.

“He apologized,” Wiz said of Kanye, adding:

“I wouldn’t necessarily say [the beef is] squashed, though, because when you see him talk about it, it doesn’t add up to what he said to me on the phone.”

Khalifa went on to say he didn’t really like West all that much and then laughed over the way Rose stood up for him and their child.

Was he aware that Kanye liked Amber to place her digits up his rectum while they dated, as Amber came right out and said a few months ago?

“Did I hear that story before?…That’s my wife. She tells me everything,” Wiz said of his now-ex-wife.

“Whatever she tells me is in conversation, in the comfort of our own home. I’m not going to tell nobody, she’s not going to tell nobody. It’s our business.”

Khloe Kardashian on Rob & Blac Chyna: No One Should Congratulate Them!

It"s no secret that Rob Kardashian"s family has not been thrilled about his engagement to Blac Chyna.

When Rob put a ring on it back in April, none of his siblings nor his mom congratulated him on social media, and the non-action said everything we needed to know.

Now, in a new preview clip for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we get to witness what was really going through their heads when it all went down.

The brood learned that their brother proposed while they were all (except Rob) on vacation in Vail, Colorado, and none of them saw it coming.

In the aftermath, Kim Kardashian reads from her phone a report on their situation from TMZ.

"The women are not taking kindly to being squeezed out, and as we reported, none of the women jumped on social media to congratulate him," Kim says, reciting the article.

Khloe Kardashian, once thought to be the sister closest to Rob, scoffs at the story then makes her feelings clear.

"Why would we congratulate him?" she says quietly.

Apparently she hasn"t been educated on the normal response to a family member"s good news. But I guess it wasn"t good news for her.

"No one should congratulate them," says Khloe. "That"s so desperate and fake of whoever does first because I know someone"s gonna break."

And without a beat – almost as though the entire scene was scripted (ahem) – we quickly learn that someone already broke.

It was Tyga, Kylie Jenner"s then-boyfriend and Chyna"s baby daddy.

Kylie quotes Tyga"s tweet to her sisters, which read, "Everyone deserves to be happy. What someone does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it"s not interfering with my happiness."

She brushed this off as him not caring, although sources at the time claimed that Kylie was furious at Tyga for congratulating Rob and Chyna.

But for the cameras, she"s playing it off… sort of.

"People are trying to make it this big feud and it"s just, it is what it is, like we just want Rob to be happy," Kylie explains.

"I just feel like the world thinks that we care so much and they"re making it this huge, big deal when in reality none of us really care we just want Rob to be able to tell us when he"s gonna do something so big like this."
