Tyga Settles with Landlord, Avoids Arrest

Tyga is a free man.

Well, Tyga already was a free man.

So perhaps this is more accurate: Tyga will remain a free man.

After failing to show up in court to pay a former landlord the $ 480,000 to which he is owed, Tyga faced jail time this week after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

The rapper was expected to be taken into custody as soon as he re-entered the country from a trip abroad, but insiders now confirm that Tyga has settled his debt.

“There has been a settlement reached to the mutual satisfaction of the parties, the terms of which are confidential,” Danny Abir, attorney for landlord Gholamreza Rezai tells People Magazine.

Adds the lawyer:

“My law partner, Boris Treyzon, will appear in court Friday morning to ask the judge to quash the bench warrant since a settlement has been reached and our client is satisfied.”

Phew, right?

Now Tyga can go back to wasting money on insane Kylie Jenner birthday presents.

The 26-year old rapper has been embroiled in a legal battle over a Malibu home he rented in 2012.

According to legal documents obtained, he agreed to pay $ 16,000 per month for the residence and stopped paying said rent three months after moving in, abandoning the home “sometime prior” to October 31, 2012.

What an idiot, right?

Who is his financial advisor, Teresa Giudice?

Rezai attempted to have the artist evicted prior to Tyga peacing out… and then discovered that he had inflicted series damage to the house, about $ 480,285 worth.

It was actually the aforementioned gift of a $ 200,000 Mercedes-Mayback for Jenner that upset his former landlord, who argued (rightfully) that this money should have gone toward the home.

Meanwhile, TMZ reported in April that Tyga owes Choice Motor Credit $ 357,000 in car payments for his 2013 Lamborghini Aventador.

Tyga has denied he had trouble making these car payments, but there’s clearly an effed up patten here.

The guy spends tons of money on cars and houses and grills (yes, grills. See below.) and is often late upon settling up his debts.

Perhaps he ought to stop buying such expensive items.

We’re also forced to wonder:

How the heck can Tyga have any money to pay off any of these purchases?

The short answer is that he doesn’t, really, that’s why he keeps getting into trouble.

But the rapper doesn’t have any actual hit songs and doesn’t appear to really do anything except follow Kylie around.

He’s an idiot. In case we haven’t made that clear already.

Selena Gomez: WHO Just Came to Her Defense?!?

Remember Samuel Krost?

We didn’t think you would.

But here’s the important thing:

Samuel Krost absolutely remembers Selena Gomez.

Back in November, Krost – a seemingly random New York University graduate who somehow knows Gigi Hadid pretty well – was spotted out for the first time with Gomez.

Gomez and Krost grabbed dinner with some friends following the singer’s appearance at Glamour’s 25th annual Women of the Year Awards.

They were even seen holding hands during their evening out.

And then Gomez and Krost were seen holding hands AGAIN a couple months later outside the SLS Hotel.

These sightings and this apparent relationship led many people to wonder: Who the heck is Samuel Krost?

The romance must have fizzled out pretty quickly because no one has heard about Krost in months… until this week.

For whatever reason, Krost jumped on Instagram yesterday and wrote a very sweet note to Selena.

Actually, the note was to Selena’s critics, and it seemed to confirm that he and the artist once had something special.

In the since-deleted message, Krost wrote:

“To all the haters: Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings. All you superficial [sic] who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real.

“Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel.”

Wow. Dude just dropped the L Bomb multiple times.

We had no idea he and Gomez were ever that serious.

Krost also seemed to tag Gomez in the comments of the post and also @’d her, seemingly in an attempt to make sure she saw the posting.

It’s unclear why he would then take it down.

But one astute social media user screen-captured the tagging, asking a simple question at the bottom of her post:

what the f-ck he was trying to do lmao?

Who knows?

But it was pretty nice of him, wasn’t it?

Gomez hasn’t exactly been under much fire of late, so we don’t know why Krost might have thought she needed his kind words.

Whatever, though. Who doesn’t like hearing kinds words about them?!?

In a new interview with Australia Vogue, Gomez admits that she’s difficult to be with because she’s so famous.

She openly asks who would who date her… and now we appear to have an answer! 

Samuel Krost would date you, Selena! He already has! He seems to want to do so again!

We like him. Go him another shot.

Thomas Gibson to Be FIRED from Criminal Minds?

Thomas Gibson is not currently on the Criminal Minds set.

As previously reported, the veteran actor is on suspension after he kicked a writer in the leg over a storyline disagreement.

This much we know.

But this much we must now wonder:

Will Thomas Gibson ever return to the set of this hit CBS drama?

According to TMZ sources, the answer is probably yes. But that doesn’t mean he’ll stick around for very long.

Producers are reportedly considering whether or not to fire Gibson from his long-held post. That’s how sick they are of his (violent) antics.

If this firing takes place, it will likely go into effect on Season 13.

Gibson plays Aaron Hotchner on the series and there’s no way to quickly make that lead agent go away.

But give the writers time and they can obviously come up with a storyline that eventually leads to Gibson departing the show.

He has been a key cast member since 2005.

However, Gibson got into a dispute with co-executive producer Virgil Williams a couple weeks ago.

Sources on set say Williams definitely egged Gibson on and that Williams has a pretty huge ego.

He did not make things physical, but he did taunt the actor and get up close to him, prompting Gibson to kick Williams in the leg.

Was the action taken as a form of self-defense? Maybe.

But Gibson also pushed an assistant director back in 2010. He has a history of violence on set and was ordered by producers at one point to attend anger management classes.

Williams, pictured below with Gibson, told his agent about the latest confrontation.

The agent went to CBS executives and they had little choice but to suspend Gibson.

Here is what we know about the way his absence will be handled on Season 12:

Hotch will be missing in action starting in the third episode after being assigned a TDY (temporary duty) elsewhere.

TV Guide was the first outlet to provide these details.

Fortunately, those who watch Criminal Minds online or on television may not even notice his absence because this episode will also mark Paget Brewster’s return as Prentiss.

Look for that beloved character to lend her BAU friends a helping hand in apprehending the remaining unsubs who broke out of prison at the end of Season 11.

Got all that? There won’t be a quiz later, don’t worry.

If Gibson does get fired, he can at least take solace in not being the first actor or actress ever fired from a major TV show.

Hugh Jackman Photo Frightens Fans: Has His Cancer Returned?

Hugh Jackman is one of the best looking people on the planet.

This really isn’t too much of an exaggeration.

When looking at a photo of the actor, most people remark upon how attractive he is.

Or perhaps they consider his career and talk about his versatility.

This is a man, after all, who can belt it out on Broadway with the best of them.. and then tear bad guys to shreds as Wolverine.

But a Facebook photo of Jackman that went viral this week doesn’t have fans discussing any of his past roles; nor are they drooling over his chiseled physique.

Instead, they are asking one simple question:

IS HUGH JACKMAN OKAY?!?

The above picture depicts the beloved star standing over some freshly cooked fish.

He has earbuds in one ear and he’s giving the camera a triumphant thumbs up.

“Now that’s what I’m talking about!” he captioned the image.

But the perpetually youthful Australian looks old, doesn’t he? He appears haggard, wouldn’t you say?

Some followers have simply pointed to the fact that he’s currently shooting the third Wolverine standalone film and he’s probably just in makeup from the shoot.

We certainly hope that’s the case.

Because the alternative is that maybe Jackman’s skin cancer has returned.

In May of 2014, Jackman shared the following photograph online, warning fans to get themselves checked for this disease because he had had a recurrence.

Jackman posted a similar selfie in November of 2013, writing as a caption back then:

“I had [basal] cell carcinoma. Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!”

Chances are strong that Jackson is doing just fine and this is the Internet doing what the Internet so often does:

Overreacting to something and expressing panic.

But at least that panic is out of genuine concern for one of the most popular actors out there this time around.

Because when it come to Hugh Jackman, we want him around for many decades to come, singing at the top of his lungs and/or looking like this:
